Probably the best high school to ever exist. After graduating from here my cousin went straight to Harvard and dropped out (after a good 5 and a half years) because college was too simple for a prestigious Morton West graduate.

I had the toughest time at this school. I went through so much and the staff and vice principle did not even care to help me at all. i wish i could have had a good high school experience but with the students and the staffs being disrespectful and heartless i couldnt enjoy school and the many good things like the rest of the teenagers. Morton needs to change now or forever have a bad reputation . Im glad i graduated with my 2 best friends who also strongly agree with me. Kiss my ass morton!!!!! #2017grad

Awful school, most of the teachers either dont teach and just let you do whatever you want, or they simply give worsheets with no explanation on how to do them, I literally had to search every single question for my physics exam because my physics teacher (John Berg) is clueless and randomly grades assignments (someone who didnt even do a test got and A, meanwhile I supposedly got a 0 for it for not doing it, despite me doing it)Please dont send your kid here or you might as well send them to a drug dealer to sell drugs with him.

This is a school that acts like they care about the students when in fact they themselves are puzzled The security guards are perverts! Certain women security guards too going after Minors to mess around with!what a disgrace! So much bullying! And that half staff should be terminated but of course whatd you expect from Low Income paid Arrogant people there ought to be a Law against a school like Morton West! Something should be done and those people should be investigated!!! Mad as Hell!

Id give it a negative 5 star if possibles. The staff is foolish. The principle is the biggest one. The stuff that happen there was horrible and they dont know how to handle bad apples.. they let them come back to the school to torcher the other students and look the other way. Equality they might say or think.. every one needs a change,.. but it its not. If there family went there it would be differnt. Every thing was on video but they didnt care. That school should be shut down and they need some real staff to go in and rebuild it. No tolerance for gangs and violence. Student safety is more important than anything. I wish I knew before I bought a house there. Horrible. Even the police were surprised they let the violent guy.. I dont say kid cause he was full of tattoos and is caught on video violently attacking students that were minding there own business and admitted to the staff that he was a savage animal and laughed. Its all in the report. He kept laughing and kept saying he is an animal!.. and thats why he did it. Horrible but true. Then they bring the kid back with parents who have no idea what kinda of son they raised crying to let him back and have enough guts to ask for my son to meet the guy and his parents. For an apology.. Get out of here! I raised my son right,.. how dare their son do that in school where I make him go every day and think he is safe while I go to work! This is a school, not a park or a mall or the streets! A school where we wake our kids up and force them to go because its the law. Are u kidding me! The attack was horrible and on video and they pretend it was nothing,.. but my son left in an ambulance. I just hope it never happens to their families, because this was sad and confusing to happen to mine.. or maybe if it did happen.. they would do something about it. I trusted the staff would have my sons safely in mind.. but the principle had the last say so. And he looked at me and didnt care and thought I was wrong and unreasonable for not letting those parents n thier bully gangbanger tattoo son talk to my son. His response to me is that Im the principal and I have tattoos and Im not a bad person. Then trying to report to the school board was a bigger joke. No one knew nothing or who I should tell to or what to do and brushed me off. DO NOT SEND YOU KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!.. the west and south side schools in Chicagoland are much better because the staff and principals dont play with situations like this.

Terrible highschool, most high ranking school officials notice little wrong but nick at everything, strict in the wrong areas. Security favors kids and often allows them to ‘get away’ with actions that could be deemed illigal. Teachers are overal great but the staff in some areas lack in disciplinary actions.Morton east is an overal better experience with a better equpt staff and disciplinary officers.Crappy school overal with terrible staff money hungry deans, who dont care for studentsEast is by far a better school

I experienced passive aggressive, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional staff. The town, in which, the school is located has been known for have KKK rallies a few years ago. If you are of a low income or African American lineage you many not be treated fairly by such people as the Assistant Principal of Operations or Security. Very unhapply place to be for students. Fees are also extremely high for a public school.

Class of 02. Great teachers and great extracurriculars. I got a great education, went to a a great college, and received a very helpful amount of financial aid.

Its a piece of trash this school has fights all the time and this Asian dude stopped my friend because he hit a stall. Please do not go to this school unless you want to check out Ashely 😏. But besides that this school can kiss ma 🍑

Went there for a few months, sucks in the summer because of the no air conditioning and theyre strick about the colors in your shoes.

I had some bad experiences with the educational board for children with disabilities, they were supposed to send me a letter to let me know of the meeting as each year to be present to solve my sons progress as every year and I was not sprinted and they had the meeting without me being present...

I mean its decent but the security is horrible and the new grading system makes me want to transfer

Its not a great school the deans abuse their power there was this one kid that bullied my friend we will call him tom and the bully went to the deans and said that tom stole his stuff which was toms stuff not only that it had his name on the thing and they still gave it to the bully and they told him if he talks about it he would get expelled

This is a BAD school if possible please dont send your children there, teaching staff, office staff etc... just horrible and if you are a white student its just that much worse, teachers dont like you and dont wanna help you, its just a BAD all around school.
