The cashier (who’s name I didn’t get because they weren’t wearing a name tag) just nodded when asked a question, I said Thank you after purchasing my item they didn’t say a word. Seemed mad about something and unprofessional . The floor associates just walk by and look at people don’t offer help finding things.

This location has the worst print center! They are always short staffed and they always have an issue when printing somethings. They often have a printer down or no supplies for one thing or another!

Highly recommend working with Myleene in their printing department. She was so patient and exhibited great customer service! All my needs were met and handled professionally!

In stores clean, well-kept, and I was greeted as I came through the door to ask if I needed help. I stopped in to print some stuff, and other than having to wait 20 minutes before I was helped, everything else went smoothly. As I left the manager asked if I had found everything I needed, and requested I fill out the survey at the web address on my receipt. All in all it was a generally positive experience, I cant blame them for having a good services that attract enough people to make them busy. Cant really blame the to print shop employees they were working as quickly and efficiently as they could have.

Every single time I come here to pick up an order via curbside I end up having to go inside to get it. What’s the point of having this service if you’re not even going to bother looking at the system that notifies you that the customer is here? Just mediocre.

TL.DR : Theres a reason this store is always empty and half stocked...its because of the sales associate and people leading them.....they are hustlers, unapologetic, and would lie to make sales.I bought a Brenton office chair which didnt really seem new to me but because the associate said it was brand new and unopened(despite the fact that the box is broken and the packaging tapes is reinforced) I believed her and went with it. I walked with this office chair on my shoulders for 2 blocks on icy ground only to réalise that Ive been sold a used chair with terrible scuff marks on it for the price of new.....I returned it and the terrible associate and her supervisor tried to make me belive again it is brand new despite what Ive seen with my eyes.......oh boyGo to the Office Depot in Hodgkins.....the difference is like day and night

Shop here all the time and make copies here all the time as well. However there seems to be new people working in that copying department and now it’s out of control, and you go to make your own copies because they have the self service open but the copy machine are mostly always not working and when you ask for help the look at u funny try and help and if they can’t they tell someone else and got u back and forth

30 cents per page to press a single button and print a simple document. A decent person and a decent company would tell the customer: if you order this online, it will be one quarter the cost. A garbage company run by garbage people seeks to screw over its customers at every opportunity.

Went in yesterday and couldnt help but be lost in this store. No customer valuation. I am normally in and out in 5 minutes. I was here for an hour and a half. Until i finally found what I was looking for.

Had a great experience purchasing desks and other office supplies, for my business; while in a time crunch. Giselle was very helpful, quick on her feet, knowledgeable and efficient. She helped from start to finish and was very polite and professional.

Poor customer service. I went to get some paper for my printer. There were three shelves of Office Depot brand paper with no price tags. No one around to ask. I went to the cashier and asked her the price while she paused taking care of a customer who was returning something. She said she would check. Well, the lady returning something did not have her credit card with her so she called her husband and I could see I would have to wait until after he arrived and had their matter settled before I could find out the price. Not worth the wait - I walked out and will probably never go back. This is one reason why brick and mortar stores are failing. That was an incompetent cashier. It is much easier to order online.

Great customer service from carlos (printing Service), took care of multiple customers at the same time. He was with 2 other employees but only he managed to take care of everyone.

They have a great selection of colored pencils. I needed help and the associate seemed a little bit like a fish or of water. I found the item in the internet and he still seemed confused. I noticed the all-important item number, and then he was able to report the item was only available through on line shopping. I had to ask him what the best alternative was before he thought to look it up. Hes young, hell learn.

Of the three self-service copiers, only ONE was working. It had no instructions posted about how to orient your originals so that the hole punch or staples end up on the left side of the page - where they belong. If you get it wrong - too bad. There is no one available to help when there are customers in line. When the sole working copier ran out of paper, I had to catch one of the employees coming out of the bathroom to get help.Their ink recycling program is loaded with arcane rules and regulations. You have to spend $10 in any month you recycle ink cartridges for store credits, but you have to sign up for the Rewards program BEFORE you do anything else. Unfortunately, I waited until I was done copying to find out that the $30+ I just spent on copying dont count toward the Rewards spending.Next time, if I need copies, Im heading for FedEX Office instead.

Its a nice location. They really dont have a large selection like Office max does. And this location has a small staff doing a lot so theirs never really members to help you but its a place for if you go there a lot and already know where to go and what to do.

Sometimes the simple things in life makes us the most happiest and content. But living in the city the simplest thing, when it comes to good and effective customer service, is the most impossible thing to achieve. I cant even imagine how this place or any other makes money on helping people achieve getting simple printing items like cards or Flyers done when they are absolutely unequivocally Feedly messed up and every way possible. This was my experience I left out without hearing purchasing anything because its clear that the level of knowledge and expertise is 0 with these people who work in these and your best bet is to go online and get any of your needs done because it is truly over for these brick-and-mortar stores. I wouldnt recommend places like this to my worst enemy.

We needed my mom’s funeral program printed quickly, and Maricruz in the print department was helpful, competent and kind, and she helped us figure out the lowest price possible when we found a mistake and needed a total reprint. Really grateful for kind and friendly people in times like this, and grateful for Office Depot and Maricruz’s quick and high-quality printing work!

I can see why these stores are closing. One cashier and 6 people in line. One dude on the floor and a little pop tart up front selling energy with a Com Ed paper to compare whatever she was selling to Com Ed rates. Wait, why are you here?? Then she says, in a deep valley girl voice, ummmm I don’t work here! Okay girl. What a nightmare. Inflated pricing, long line and randoms that don’t work there standing at the front of the store selling unrelated things as customers enter. I’ll hit target instead, thanks!

Tanya at the Berwyn location was so helpful, welcomed us with a big smile and asked if we needed help right away. (Even when it was almost closing time)The prices are awesome and we got exactly what we need!

Horrible customer service, everybody walks around like if they are in a funeral, the girl at Copy & Print made fun of customer on the phone, is obvious they are only there to collect a check. I went in there to print something from online but couldnt get it done and ontop of that i got charge for something that came out wrong & useless. Prices are super high ridiculous.

They lost the only 2 good techs they had. From my understanding one left for a better job and the other quit because of the minimum wage everyone was getting and the god awful commission. The techs they have now are absolute shitters and the people in copy and print always appear to not want to deal with anyone. I went to get my PC repaired and when I went to pick it up it was just handed to me. The good techs I dealt with before actually set it up and showed me the problem was solved and answered any questions I had, but these new guys just handed it to me and walked away. Went home and saw my problem was not fixed. I guess you cant expect good service when your employees are living off minimum wage and 5% commission. Never realized those techs get a lousy $5~ to fix a pc. I cant see myself going back. Service was so bad I tried my best to find the techs I dealt with before. Found them online and 1 not only fixed my problem but at a cheaper price.

Staff at the print and copy were busy on a Monday morning... they were very helpful and attentive even though they had a line.

I went in to print a document from my gmail account. It was fast and easy process. The staff was very friendly.

Fed ex services are not good. Staff in North Riverside are not well trained to assist.

I called the store asking for their email so I can send a print job and John told me they are not accepting emails any longer for print jobs. He said his systems does not let them open the attachments. That I will have to upload the order online or bring a flash drive. I let him know that Melrose Park store still accepts my orders by email without any problem. It is their loss, not mine.

I had three pieces of paper I need it scanned and sent to an email they were not able to do it.. they wanted me to purchase a flash drive and do some other things then they would email it -that is poor service. I called OfficeMax and they were more than happy to help without purchasing a flash drive or doing any extra work..

Absolute terrible customer service! I stood at the copy center, to have a couple pieces of paper bound together, a 10-second project... For 10 minutes, then they told me I would have to leave it there and it would take them over an hour to do it! Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere, and will continue to do so forever.
