I walk by and thru this university all the time and to me its a peaceful place within a great community.

Graduated in 2018. While some of the professors really care about the students and education, the campus as a whole is pretty cult-ish. Would not recommend.

Only been a few times to play sand volleyball with my family, very good, no one was there, we could play even at 10-12 at night, real quality volleyball courts

Loved my time at SNU, most of the staff was friendly and they really have a positive atmosphere. Received my degree in 2015 and proud to have graduated from SNU.

Absolutely loved this college. Graduated in 2015. Great Christian atmosphere but they dont force it on anyone. Military friendly, great Veteran Resource Center. Got a free laptop through the program, so that was awesome!

Beautiful campus!!! And they have a disc golf course on campus.

Accompanied my youngest son to the beautiful SNU campus on Route 66 for a tour to see if it is where he wants to attend college. #SNU1899

Hateful and inhuman policies regarding having a child out of wedlock. IF YOU BECOME PREGNANT OUT OF A MARRIAGE IN THIS SCHOOL, THEY WILL PULL YOUR ASS OUT OF THE CLASSES AND PUT YOU ON THE STREET AND TAKE EVERY SINGLE PENNY TOO. they did this to my mother years ago and I literally got so mad about it just sitting here, years later. Im happy my mother was able to get picked up by a college of NOT RELIGIOUS BIGOTS. And was able to have a school that had her back as she completed her courses and got her life on track. GO TO A GOOD SCHOOL BEFORE YOU SETTLE HERE, NO HUMAN COMPASSION ON THIS CAMPUS.

Jazz concert was terrific.

Its Awesome place that is were we had our Global Quiz. And the Teens love it there. It was like a Family Setting they made you feel at home. There is just so much See an Learn. They have a Wonderful Staff and Crew. I am glad my Son Choose to go and become part of there Family. Love SNU

I can not speak for the traditional studies but the adult bridge courses are terrible. The adjunct Teachers could careless if you learn anything. my latest class had six chapters of reading and we had no discussion over the reading or the assignment. He talk negative about a former student to another student in our class that may have been in his prior class. He had us read in first chapter on Genesis and the talk about the specifics for about 10 minutes, and asked a lot of personal questions and volunteered personal information and sent us home early. He instructed us not to get him in trouble by being noisy and making it known that we were let out early. Where is the integrity he is a Bible scholar and teaching “Biblical Perspectives”. I am still waiting on an answer from an email from 5 days ago.Eileen Ruger is the only Professor this far that has known her Subject and she does references reviews from assigned book. Eileen keeps you the whole class time and reviews the lesson with you. I guess the average instructor thinks that we are not here to learn what we are studying. Most of class time is not related to the books purchased.The learning disability counselor is very condescending when speaking to you and she does not follow up. I will not reach out over and over to a person that seems bothered by me and my disability. Then she referred me to a staff member to tutor me and then the VA would not approve payment of over $30 an hour so my future appointments were canceled. I have asked repeatedly for some type of help, like maybe getting my books earlier, or audible books so won’t get so anxious trying to keep up with all the weekly reading but I just fall through the cracks. I want a degree and have been failing completion because I was failed as a child in education and don’t know how to bridge the disability to complete my degree.I have also been forwarded political bias push forward emails from Doctoral staff by mistake which seems unprofessional to me. My emails and phone calls have not been returned in a timely manner. I have reached out to Senoir Admissions Representative Marci Greene and I was given excuses to why it may have happened. She asked if I had reached out to the forwarder of the emails to see if it was there intention to send me the political bias emails. I shared some personal history and experience with Marci and she was very short and judgmental afterwards. I made an appointment with her, in which she suggested for me to make to introduce me to some options I may have been missing on moodle. I arrived and checked in. Marci had someone in her office so the reception said she should not be long. The receptionist left the office so I peeped in a little while later, Marci thought I was late so she was very short with me a said she has a meeting a will be leaving shortly. When we made the appointment she said “just come and we will stay as long as it takes.I just need a little support and reassurance.

The grounds are pretty. I stayed in guest housing - one bedroom efficiency - on a terribly uncomfortable sofa bed.
