The best kept secret in Bethesda-area early education and childcare. This is a well-run school with a warm, nurturing, fun approach. Our son loves it, the families are diverse (many cultures and backgrounds represented), and its one of the most reasonably priced options in this expensive area.

I can’t say enough good things about this school. Everyone is so loving!! We’ve had nothing but good experiences. Ms. Fernanda knows how to run a school. Ms. Brittany (assistant principal) is incredible! I’d highly recommend sending your child here for a year of kindergarten before public school kindergarten. My daughter is already reading any/everything!!They provide two snacks and lunch. The playgrounds could use some updating, but other than, that it’s an amazing school!!

My daughter has gone to school here for the past year, since she was 2. We have been really happy with the education, the learning environment and the staff. She loves going to school every morning and is always coming home having learned new things. Her language skills took off as soon as she started attending, she loves the Spanish part of the curriculum, and every month she comes home proud to show me her art projects from school. The teachers seem to find a really nice balance between learning and playtime for the kids. I am very selective and I would recommend this school to anyone I know!

If you love your kid, take them somewhere else - not at BCDS. I never leave reviews for anything. I went out of my way today to write this to prevent the future parents who might be moving to this neighborhood and looking for options for daycare.The admin/support staff does not know how to handle paperwork or communicate with parents.

The teachers here are great, knowledgeable, and fun. The Principal, Fernanda, is awesome. She always has a smile on her face and greets all the children. She always tries to work with you to ensure both you and your camper are happy.

My children love the school. The parking is limited, so Drop-off and Pick-up are always a bit nuts. The school has a great Principal who is kind and caring.

Its been officially a year since our son was enrolled for Summer Camp. He loved it so much that we signed him up for the Fall year. Coming full circle and just recently enrolling him in Summer Camp again, I can say our son has flourished in this nurturing, caring, fun school environment. Starting with the leadership [Ms. Fernanda & Ms. Brittany] - youll be hard pressed to find two people that care for the school environment and excel in their roles to creating a nurturing learning environment. They go above and beyond in creating memorable events for the children (and parents) to enjoy. Most importantly, they always have an open door to discuss and help plan with you for what your child needs. They really do know each child individually.Secondly, the school has a deep bench of remarkable, loving, knowledgeable teachers that understand early child development, how to engage children, and really bring out the best in each child. For example, my son just started Summer Camp again and his teachers was already able to assess his knowledge level, what his learning style is, and create a safe environment that he feels safe in. So much so that he did not want to leave class on the 2nd day. Im so happy with his new teachers and am at peace knowing hes in great hands.Overall, its a great school-based program, its nurturing, engaging, run by great learning professionals, and staffed with some of the most wonderful early child education teachers you could meet like Ms. Karen C, Ms. Karuna, Ms. Byanka, Ms. Krissy, Ms. Susie, Ms. Kristy, Ms. Nurys, Ms. Farah, & Ms. Michelle.We love being part of the BCDS family and encourage you to consider if for your child.

Our daughter soliana has been going to BCDS since last year . We are extraordinary impressed with the service, the commitment and professionalism of all the staff members . Our special thanks goes to my daughter class ( Pre K- 2 teachers Mrs. Chandi and her assistants an amazing teachers who helped our daughter to grow academically, emotionally and improved well in her social skill . One of the most best school that my daughter has ever experienced . Everyday she comes home with her smile face and brings happiness home . Having 4 kids and being in different preschool environment this school is a blessing. In a nutshell, this is a well resourced school with great management & staff. BCDS has a happy, dynamic, international atmosphere with a syllabus containing a good blend of acadamic, creativity and play. My 3 children thrive there, as it seems do all the other children, in addition the staff always seem to just give, give, give of themselves the whole time.

Our daughter likes the school and feels happy everyday. She has been there since she turned two. We highly recommend BCDS.

I was so happy to find this school. My son was enrolled in another school but we found that he was always reluctant to go to school. Everyday was a struggle to get him to go. His teachers would tell us he was sad the majority of the day. This was sooooooo opposite of my sons personality.We were referred to Bethesda Country Day School by a neighbor/friend. We scheduled a tour and at the conclusion of the tour handed over a check for the full tuition!!The first day my son went we noticed a marked improvement in his mood! Now, every morning he is super excited to go!The school is multicultural and beautifully diverse. It is such a well rounded school and definitely reflects the demographic of the surrounding neighborhood. All families seems to be very involved in the activities at the school.The teachers are amazing! The few I know are Ms. Regina, Ms. Negin, Ms. Mehri, Ms. Mahsa and Ms. Farrah! But everyone is always nice and smiling! The administration is amazing especially the principal Fernanda Landa. They really are a family environment and definitely not corporate feeling like other schools. It is such an awesome environment for any child to be in.If I could I would give them 10 stars!!! Your child will be well cared for here, dont look anywhere else!
