Ive been going there for years and love it! 10/10 would recommend. Their teachers are nice and provide excellent feedback, as well as their programs being well structured. I feel my self improving each class! If you want to get good training, and be pushed in an encouraging way joy of motion is the place to go.

I can only speak for the 2-3 year old Toddler class, which I attempted with my 2 year old today. The receptionists were all really nice leading up to the class, and allowed us to take a free trial for today to see how we liked it. I am so glad we did that, because I didn’t have to fight for my money back like I heard another mom doing as we were leaving. The first 20 minutes of the class were spent sitting in a circle talking and doing little stretches. Asking a 2 or 3 year old to sit still for 20 minutes (at a”dance class”...) is completely unrealistic! At this age, children can only be expected to have attention like that for as many minutes as their age. Certainly not 20 minutes! And also... this was supposed to be a dance class- it was more of a circle time talking /stretching class. We walked out into the hallway and came back in when we heard music finally... and then the teacher just has then walking and marching in a circle. After 30 minutes total we left. The kids still weren’t dancing.

If you’re a beginner to dance, forget about taking the breakdancing classes. I took the intro basics class and every student there had already taken it three times. Due to this, the instructor skipped all the basics and just assumed I could keep up with an advanced lesson. Despite this, I was still made to breakdance badly on my own in front of the whole class three times even though I didn’t know how to properly preform move one. It was embarrassing. I learned nothing. What a horrible experience. Never going back.

The people who run the business were incredibly rude to my husband, and they were massively unresponsive to me. I had to call multiple times to get them to rectify their mistake of canceling my daughters class without even notifying me, and I was never given a partial refund the time lost as a result. We eventually decided to just pull our daughter out in the middle of the season, because we were so fed up. I am deeply disappointed with the way that this business is run.

Adult dance classes. Intermediate street jazz, and beginner hip hop complete your life. :)
