I have been taking classes with Go Spanish Now for just over a year, and it has been a fun and enriching experience.The course provides a good balance between learning grammatical structures/verb conjugations and conversational practice, both of which are critical to my learning. With a small class size of 4-5 students, each student has plenty of opportunity to speak during class.I have been fortunate to progress through each term with the same instructor, Maria Elisa, and the same group of students. This continuity allows for more free flowing, organic conversations, much like a group of friends meeting over coffee. Maria also tailors the reviews to the needs of the students, and she continually reinforces past lessons while also covering new material.With one one of my parents being a native Spanish speaker, I had a good foundation. However, I did not speak Spanish on a regular basis nor did I study the language in high school or college. As a result, I was hesitant to speak more than a few words at time when opportunities arose. I have always known that the key to achieving my goal of conversational fluency is practice, practice, practice. It was just a matter of finding the right learning environment at my skill level. Go Spanish Now fit that bill for me.

I have really enjoyed learning Spanish through Go Spanish Now and it is mainly due to the fact that I had a great teacher, Maria Covarrubias. I am an advanced student who needs the language for my job, as well as personal enjoyment. Maria was flexible with my schedule, creative with lesson planning, and also mixed up sessions to fit my needs - grammar, conversations, current events, idioms, etc. She also travelled to me on several occasions so we could get out of the Zoom funk and have more natural conversations and lessons. I found her style to be engaging and always felt like her corrections were more instructive than punitive.I would strongly recommend the school, and in particular Maria, if you need a well rounded and enjoyable experience on your language learning journey.

I have enjoyed learning Spanish at GospanishNow for the past one year 1/2.The class sizes are just right, the teacher is very professional yet friendly, the place and the staff are welcoming. I enjoy very much my teacher Maria and the group of students I’ve been with since the beginning. Maria teaches us the right balance of grammar/conjugation and conversation, essential to learning a language. We have a lot of fun doing that. We’ve been doing it online since March, and even though being in class physically is always better, that option has worked well for us.Another aspect I like about the school is that if you miss classes, you can always make it up by attending a different session.

Maria is a great Spanish teacher! She is patient and always has time for questions or to go over something for the third or fourth time. She speaks slowly enough and enunciates very well in order to make it easier to understand her. She is very well organized. Her homework reinforces what is learned during class time. She is also a cheerful and friendly person who truly wants her students to succeed. Highly recommended.

These are the best Spanish classes I have ever taken. The teachers are excellent (Ive had two of them over the course of two years, and did some makeups with a third), knowledgable and FUN. Ive made great friends in the class, and truly value the experience of meeting people and learning a language at the same time. Even now, in these pandemic times, our Zoom classes are fun and effective. I miss seeing everyone in person, but I am still learning a lot of Spanish and enjoying myself tremendously. I highly, highly recommended Go Spanish Now! The price is very reasonable and the value is huge.

I have been learning Spanish through Go Spanish Now for the past few years. Having never taken it in school, I started at the very beginning and have been building my vocabulary and working on grammar. The class focus is on both the conversational and technical aspects of the language. Maria is a wonderful teacher and so engaging! I consider Maria and my classmates to be friends and look forward to our time together each week.

The courses are very small - mine have been two or three people. You learn a ton and are challenged but you are supported too. Ruth is the best.

I took Spanish lessons virtually through this school for just several months and really got a lot out of it. My teacher María Elisa was wonderful and I really enjoyed having conversations with her and the other students (we tried our best to only speak in Spanish, but María would help us translate our English if we needed to). I regained a lot of the Spanish I had once learned but had then lost from lack of using it, and I also learned many new things. Overall, a great experience!
