From when I first got here in Maryland, this school has been a great school to me, espcially when I came back from my home country. The teachers can sometimes be strict, but otherwise, they are very nice. I recommend to going to this school if you want to have a good time and meet new friends! :)

Even though there are lots of homework and some teachers are strict they still have a good side and there are lots of fun activities. And also the school is expanding for more classrooms also even though people think that the school isnt perfect, it doesnt mean it isnt great.

Things need to change. The administration is bad. Some teachers are good, others suck. As Donald Trump once said All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me - consciously or unconsciously. I dont know what this quote has to do with NBMS, but it seems accurate.

Definitely a step up from my old school, but here are its flaws:Dress code allows girls to wear pretty much whatever they want, in fact I recently saw a girl whose ass was visible from under her shorts! Administration has no idea how to handle any sort of problem, and the teachers are, for the most part, incompetent with issues as well. However, when it comes to teaching, the teachers are usually okay. The school prioritizes test grades over anything else, and the security guard doesnt check cameras. Basically, if you wanted, you could draw an intricate drawing of a bomb, and someone who said Crap! would get in more trouble than you.

There are lots of things about this school that anger me, but most of all, I would have to say the dress code is incredibly unfair and only enforced when it comes to female students. Administration can wear what they want as well as male students. This is not ok and enrages all of the children at the school. Just the other day, in fact, I witnessed an administrator wearing a shirt that clearly showed her bra. Whereas if a student were to wear a shirt similar to that, they would be pulled out of class and given another shirt (which has happened to me more than once) This is an issue that needs to be addressed immediately. A boy that I know also wore a shirt up to his chest, and walked around all day without being spoken to. This is unacceptable and cannot go on. Another problem I have noticed is teachers using ableist slurs. One teacher said during a class that he was not retarded and calls students retarded on a regular basis. Another teacher who has worked there from the beginning, would not allow a mentally and physically disabled student to use the restroom which resulted in him urinating in his pants. After the teacher was made aware, he openly mocked the child and laughed in his face with the whole class. Bear in mind, this is just what my siblings and I have encountered during our North Bethesda Middle School experience. I am an eighth grader and could not be happier that I am leaving next year for Walter Johnson High School. Do not send your child here unless you support sexism and discrimination against students.

I was in the schools potty, minding my own business then when I was about to leave there were these kids with an H i didnt know what to think of it, I just stood there, frozen, as if I was a snow. Then They asked me H? I ran out and Have been living on the streets for the past month. Overall 4/5 IGN

I met my best friend and it has very good teachers and people and they had fun activities and field trips

I do enjoy my teachers and the environment, but I would appreciate the experience more if the teachers had better interactions with students or explain assignments more thouroghly. Overall, three stars because NB is definitely not perfect.

NBMS is a great school and I loved it. The teachers there are fun and disciplined when needed. I am very happy with this school because I met so many new friends, learned so much, and had great experiences there. Thank you NBMS for giving me the time of my life! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Very nice and fun teachers and a very good education.

Some teachers can be very unreasonable and odd... and the teachers also barely ever give out long term assignments, but when they do, it is on short notice, they on not clear on many instructions and they are like 100 points each... but other than that this school is meh and I cant wait to move on to high school

It is a good school and I give it three stars but it gives way to a lot of homework and I am not well with the way it worked. The teachers are mostly nice, but in the sixth grade there was one that was really meant for everyone (Im not going to give names) and seemed to hate everyone. I like it well, besides that.

This school sucks, the security guard constantly threatens people to check security cameras if something goes wrong, but he doesnt. Women are allowed to wear pretty much anything they want.
