Great teachers and parents! Enjoyed watching the boy blossom in a loving, nurturing environment. Coop school was a wonderful way to be involved in upbringing at a play-based school. Teachers Bernie, Ellie, and Doreen - hard to beat this combo anywhere. This village is awesome!

My son absolutely LOVES Cedar Lane Nursery. He is constantly talking about school and all his friends. The teachers are fantastic and I really feel that he is given one-on-one care and attention. Being a first time mom, I was nervous transitioning my two year old into school, but he adapted quickly and I can already see how much hes learning and growing; not to mention hes socializing so well with the other kids in his class. We are so exited to graduate to the 2/3s class next year!

To have my kids in this school has been one of the best choices I have ever made. Being a co-op school allowed me the opportunity to observe and be part of my children development, as well as to interact with teachers and other parents sharing experiences and concerns of kids development. Teachers provide a lot of attention to each child needs in terms of socio-educational development and prioritize activities based on children needs. The school also boast a wonderful community of parents who support each other as well as the school. I highly recommend this school.

I have spent my career studying high quality early care and education and I can say that this is it! Cedar Lane is a NAEYC accredited program- a credential only obtained by the highest quality programs (last time I looked at the data in Maryland only 10% of early care and education programs were accredited). The State of Maryland has also given Cedar Lane Nursery School the highest rating possible through their Maryland Excels rating system. In addition to getting high ratings from these credible sources, my mommy gut loves this place! The teachers are truly engaging, patient, loving, and planful about the children’s time. The learning environment is full of learning materials to engage all the senses and facilitate learning through play. The outdoor space is SPACIOUS and has lots of opportunities for gross motor development. Finally the curricula used is research-based and developmentally appropriate. My son has been in this program for the last 3 years and I could not be more thankful for the experience he has had, and the friendships we have both developed.

Great preschool. My children went there/are there now and I have nothing but good thing to say. The teachers are excellent!
