Extremely fair prices and a very friendly atmosphere. This was the only music shop I was able to find a specific rim for my snare, not to mention the sticks I needed and a great crash!

Hidden gem in Bethlehem for all things percussion and music. Super personal customer service and incredible support for beginners through working professionals. Big box online music stores and chains cant hold a candle to institutions like this one. My lessons here were the foundation for a professional career in music. Also, I had my drum set custom made here and its going strong 20 years later. Cant say enough great things.

I took drum lessons from John here when I was a kid, back in the late 90s.He was hilarious and awesome at getting timid kid me to come out of my awkward little shell...but his lessons stuck with me my whole life. He lit a fire in me that became my musical obsession for the next 20 years...I now as a professional musician and performer, I borrow some of his wacky tactics in teaching my own students

We live in NW Ohio but visit the in laws who live in Bethlehem. Our son LOVES anything “drums”, so it was a nice surprise when they stumbled upon the shop! John has been great and is so inviting and helpful! When Jackson is in town it’s the first place he asks to go! Wish we lived closer so he could take private lessons!

I have been taking guitar lessons from Gus at the California drum shop for the last several years. My daughter has been taking lessons from Gus for the last 5 years and my son takes drum lessons from John. The environment at the California Drum Shop is very laid back & fun. The guys teaching really know their stuff. My children have really progressed with their playing. Id recommend the California Drum Shop for any level musician.
