Due to some changes in our public school system, we explored the idea of private school by visiting just about every option on the North Shore.We were struck immediately by the sense of creativity, kindness, and child-centered teaching practices employed at Glen Urquhart that set GUS above all the rest. Three years later, we are thrilled.GUS has helped our daughter to become a confident, accomplished, multi-disciplinary leader. She is excited to learn every day, and we are grateful to be part of a supportive and engaged community of wonderful parents and educators.The place-based learning is a wonder to see: a multitude of field trips which give the kids chances to employ what theyre learning in the real world.We cannot recommend GUS enough. Its an absolutely wonderful place for any child to become the best person they can be.

My older daughter graduated from GUS a couple of years ago, and it was the best investment I could have made in her future. GUS gave her a strong academic foundation for high school, but most importantly, it made her a confident learner and individual. Our son is currently in 6th grade, and Im thrilled he is getting the same amazing foundation. We love being part of the GUS community.

Our children are thriving at GUS. The teachers and staff are dedicated and responsive. The small class sizes are a huge plus and the natural campus is a great resource. Worth every penny!
