This is the third year for my daughter at dance house productions. It has been a wonderful journey and to say that we love it its an understatement. Nicki has been amazing!Dance house productions has become a second home for my girl, is a place where she can learn and have fun at the same time so shes always looking forward to the next class.As a mother, it gives me peace of mind knowing that my daughter has a place apart from home where she can be herself, but most of all where shes treated with love and respect.

Nicki and Jim really are top knotch. They are encouraging and welcoming while also teaching structure and discipline. All of the instructors are completely invested in every class and every child. The energy in the studio is always positive and really feels like family. Nicki treats my daughter just like her own and as a result she has fallen in love with dance and we watch her passion grow every week. If you are considering dance class and don’t know where to start, there’s no question Dance House Productions is the best option in Southern Maine.

I must say, my TWO daughters have found a true fit here... this place has tickled their fancy (and mine as a dance mom and former dancer!), and can now look forward to creating lasting dance memories. What I love is the studios energy... acceptance of all as you are, and eagerness to teach both basic & betterment skills to children of all ages and levels. My girls have enjoyed making new friends, busting out some new moves, and especially enjoy the owner that we have started privates with her to strengthen their acro skill-set. As a mom, it gives me great pleasure to see their smiles, hear their laughter, and watch their progress. That is all I can ask for, and Dance House has performed.Thank you from us all! 🖤

My daughter has been dancing here for years and matured through many classes to Competition. She enjoys the time spent with her classmates and looks forward to dance each week. Miss Nicki and Mr Jim are committed to the creativity, education and energy that promotes confidence in my daughter. It is evident in the family unit they promote with Miss Joyce, Miss Kaleigh, Miss Sara and Miss Emma. I would highly recommend Dance House Productions to dancers of any age!

When me and my sister first arrived here they were very nice and helped with dance, they really do know what they were doing, but.... during my second year i got asked to do a duet, i sad yes. During that time we paid full for the two years because it was a two year duet.. Im not sure what happened there but my family got into a fight with owners and kicked us out, to this day we still arent welcome back, and I still dont know what happened. I do wish I still danced there even though most of the students there dont like me, they still pushed me to my full potential. I do wish things could have turned out differently. There are tons of great students, I just wish the owners didnt take this out on me and my sister and kicked us out, I would love to go back but I cant, 6/10 would recommend.

Used to be a great place but has just become a toxic environment in recent years.

My kids all love taking classes at Dance House Productions. I have witnessed them all gain confidence from their time there. My sister in law recommended this dance studio to us based on her own experience their and we are glad that we took her recommendation. There are many different class offerings and they cater to different skill levels.The recitals at the end of each season are fast-paced and remain fresh due to the varied nature of all the different types of dance classes offered. As an audience member this was far more entertaining than a recital from a studio that only focuses on one form of dance.

Dance House Productions allows dancers to become well-trained in a variety of dance styles. The students are encouraged to express and challenge themselves to be the best they can be. There are many opportunities for showcasing students developed talents whether in competitions and/or recitals. Nicki and Jim bring the right balance of discipline and energy to motivate dancers and build on their passion for dance. This is an excellent dance studio that provides a welcoming and enriching space for dancers of all levels. I find that both dancers and families feel a sense of belonging and purpose to each class.

Outstanding dance studio period! We have been so happy with our experience at Dance House Productions. This dance studio is sought after for good reason. The students are provided with challenging/relevant work and are taught to think critically and to express themselves at high levels. The dance owners, instructors and studio staff are very committed with routine communication and are very supportive of your student(s) success. Our son and daughter has found no shortage of really terrific classmates with whom to spend time and the friends they have made have their same good judgment and enthusiasm for learning. It clearly is a good fit for motivated, well-rounded dance students who really want to exceed. This is a high quality Dance Studio!

WE LOVE DANCE HOUSE PRODUCTIONS!!!!!! This is our Maggies 3rd Year with Jim and Nicki...They have always treated our Maggie like family and encouraged her to BE HER BEST SELF!!!! Maggie is pretty sensitive but, courageous too and her self image and confidence have grown significantly has a direct result of the Dance House Production Family . Jim and Nicki have grown and developed an authentic and rich Dance community in Biddeford and has been a BIG part of our Tween Girls life always encouraging her to grow emotionally and physically and to be as healthy as she can be. We are SO proud of our Dancer and we feel so LUCKY to have Jim and Nicki here in our Biddeford Communtiy...Dance House Productions is EXEMPLARY, Local, Professional, and the BEST!!!! The performances @ the City Theater are World Class. I would Recommend Dance House Productions to ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants their Kids to Dance and Be Healthy. I love this dance studio! I even dance here myself! I think all of the dance classes and students here at the dance company, are wonderful dancers! I come, and its my first year, and the dance teachers and the students treat me like I have been dancing here my whole life! I honestly believe this dance studio is one of the best dance places you can ever go!* EDIT*You know what is sad, you people are giving this company one star reviews, and you have never set foot in this building! Its just funny how you go in the dance studio and you spread hate! really! The dancers that come here are happy! And if they are not, they leave, so no need to give hate! Jeez! Just take it down a notch!

My daughter is in her fifth year at Dance House Productions. It started out as a fun thing to do with friends and now she dances on the competitive teams. While the expectations change when you are on a team, the kindness and caring by the instructors does not. I have received emails from the instructors because they were concerned about my daughter’s nutrition - not because they were trying to be bullies or controlling, but because they care about her and want her to be able to feel good and reach her full potential. Knowing I have them looking out for her means the world to me as a parent. I can’t say enough about DHP. This place has become a second family to not only my daughter but for me too. I would recommend this studio to anyone. (And as a side note, our recitals are AMAZING!! Local, short, and filled with fun, smiles and great dancing.)

My daughter thrives at Dance House Productions. At Dance House, she is given the tools to succeed – not just in dance but in life. The teachers are true professionals who take the education of their students very seriously and inspire each dancer to reach their potential. My daughter has learned one of the most valuable lessons in life from Nicki and Jim – HARD WORK PAYS OFF. I dont know about other dance studios doing reviews for this place...However, I do know of a lot of different families that are coming together sharing their disappointment of the owners of this studio. My niece has been going here for 2 years. Just recently my sister has started having issues with Jim and the way that he is treating my niece. She tried handling it the way any parent would. First by email and then by phone. She tried repeatedly to contact them and she was completely ghosted!My niece decides she wants to stand up for herself and continue going class . The first class back she gets singled out and embarrassed by Jim. That was the final straw.I would think being a business owner, the first thing you would do is try to at least talk to your clients directly... Not a great way to handle things in my opinion.****Edit****In response to owners review.I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT have you confused with another studio. As stated above, my nieces are the ones who attended your class. They have a different last name then I do. They have attended for 5 years!I am sure you can figure out who my family members are when I tell you that maybe you should respond to your emails from concerned parents instead of responding to me here on a google review! I cannot say how blessed I am to have this opportunity to dance here! I have been dancing at DHP for 6 years now, and it has been the best experience of my life. Dance is so important to me, and it makes it even more special when you have a family supporting you and always being there for you. I have known Nikki and Jim for quite a while, and I cannot believe how supportive, loving, and fun they are! They make dance so much more exciting and fun, and they always treat us like their family. I have made so many friends here, and it is just unbelievable how much they support me, and others as well. I definitely 100% recommend this studio to dance at, no matter what. youll see how wonderful these people are, and how the real art of dance is portrayed. A great nurturing environment for beginners as our kid really looks forward to the hip hop class every week. Ive been in the viewing room for the past 5 months or so and havent heard a single negative comment. While I cant attest to the veracity of all the reviews Ive read today I have one rule of thumb: three word reviews (indicating absolutely no effort at all) consecutively posted are never taken seriously by me. If you ARE considering enrolling your child at a dance studio please take the time to stop by Dance House, talk to Nicki and Jim, perhaps talk to some of the parents in the viewing room and make up your own mind.

I am so happy to speak my opinion about Dance House Production I have known Nicki for all her life and she is one of the most dedicated lady and loves all her dancers with all her heart . She listens to them and they always want to talk to her about anything and Nicki is there for all of them. Some might need a little more discipline than others which they my not like but it’s for their best benefit but Nicki is always there with an open ear for them.Her instructors are the best and they are so loved by the dancers and like I said before some might not listen but they have to be told to understand that the classes are not only for them they are for all the others trying to learn and not to disturb the other dancers they are taught manners and respect. The students are always happy when they leave and anxious to come back and learn that says a lot about Dance House Production Nicki you are the best 💁‍♀️👍🥰

We LOVE Dance House Productions! My oldest daughter has been dancing at DHP for the past 7 years, her sister joined her last year, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They’ve helped develop her from the shy little toddler she was initially into the passionate dancer she has become. I love that they encourage well rounded students to excel at technique, be true team players, understand their instrument and walk with confidence. When you walk your dancer through the door they are welcomed as so much more than just a dancer, they are family. They know you and children by name and look to do whatever they can to support their growth. I’ve appreciated all the times Nicki has taken me aside just to check in on how my girls are doing and feeling about where they’re at! Anyone looking for a great dance house is doing themselves a disservice if they don’t consider Dance House Productions

I can’t even explain how awesome this dance company is!!!! This place is great! I don’t dance. But my best friend dances here and I I go to some of her classes, and I love watching her dance as much as I love watching every other person dance! The dances are beautiful, funny, amazing, humorous, etc. Nikki and Jim are BOTH amazing, amazing people! They are both so kind to ALL the kid not just one or two of them! I love the choreography of every dance! I have been to art walks, recitals and I’m going to the next competition! All of my friends that dance here always talk about how fun and amazing it is, even if the don’t compete! Anyways i will sit and wait for 11 hours to see one of these amazing dances coming from Dance House Productions. Dance House Productions is my personal favorite dance studio!

Outstanding establishment and enthusiastic instructors make the dancers at Dance House rise to the top!!! From the moment you register to the finale of the recitals, the gates of communication are wide open, making the entire parent experience stress-free and smooth. Photos, costume fittings, in studio rehearsals, dress rehearsals, recital ticket purchasing, and the recital itself are all so well orchestrated, making the entire process one that is enjoyable and unforgettable. The owners treat our children like their own, keeping safety a top priority at all times. Our daughter was a member of the DHP family for 11 years until it was time to head off to college. We still purchase recital tickets despite no longer having a dancer and cannot wait to see what this years recital will have in store for us. Keep up the great work, Nicki & Jim!!! We Love our Dance House Family. My Girls have danced here for 6+ years and have worked hard and are better dancers because of it. The Dance instructors care about the dancers and are there to give them the instruction to be better dancers and to work to their highest potential. Come see one of their recitals, they are well organized and Every dancer knows their dance right down to the youngest dancers.

Best dance studio in maine. This is the best place for any child to learn and grow. I have been at dance house since almost the beginning of my career and I have ZERO complaints. Jim, Nicki, and all other staff are supportive and care genuinely about their students. There are no favorites, and even if there were, Dance House is an equal opportunity establishment. Anyone who is willing to work hard and apply themselves can succeed and become one of the rumored “favorites”. All the students are supportive, whenever a new student arrives myself and others always share the fact that we’re a big family. During my time as a college student, I got the chance to volunteer as a teacher assistant at Dance House Productions for three years. As someone who has both taken classes and taught across numerous dance studios in the southern Maine area, I can say with confidence that Dance House Production stands out as a top tier studio. As their name implies, the studio provided an environment comparable to that of a second home. Faculty members treated each and every one of their students with the same amount of care and respect as they would their own children. The attention to detail that owners Jim and Nicki had for the safety and well being of each student was both admirable and inspiring. To me, one of the biggest things that stood out about the faculty members at DHP was that they were not only great dance instructors but also amazing role models.

I have been dancing here for five years, and the owners are the nicest people. They have so many opportunities for us. From battles, to competitions, to an amazing recital at the end of the year. Yes they have expectations for us but nothing over unreasonable. It’s an awesome place and people need to realize that.

Many family members have made this their studio home! The teachers clearly know what theyre doing - my little cousins have good dance technique, and ENJOY dancing as well! Thats a difficult balance to strike, and as a fellow dance teacher, I commend them. They have clear hip hop and breaking techniques, and its nice to see dancers who know the difference. Props to their jazz and lyrical as well! All winning options for the competition team!I always enjoy DHPs spring recital - its short, and all the dances are fun to watch! I love that they keep the recital under two hours (maybe its only one hour!) This studio is putting out some great work. Highly recommend!

I have over 35 years of experience with dance studios, first with my daughter (who danced for many years with Maine State Ballet and now is a dance instructor in CA herself), followed by two of my boys and now my granddaughter. Dance House Productions is a fantastic studio! Nothing but professionalism and respect from the owners coupled with a strong desire and commitment to teaching dance at a high level. Its probably not for those that just want to give their children a dance experience without actually learning the art of dance. Look around the area and you will find those type of studios for your needs. We specifically left another studio after three years of experiencing little structure and no progress. Since joining DHP we have seen an immediate change in both how my granddaughter dances and her enjoyment doing it.I dont understand the 1 star reviews. It would appear as though some individuals seem to have an axe to grind. I would caution anyone reading those reviews and remember there are two sides to every story. Our experience has been nothing but amazing!

This dance school is the best in town. They make incredible dancers Ive been a dancer here for eight years of my life. All the kids are so amazing and Ive made some of my bestest friends here and I love going to dance and seeing my dance family and Im so happy that Im able to dance. Our granddaughter has been attending this studio for about 10 years.She was so young, a little shy and she wanted to dance. She loves going to the studio ,the instructors, and never complains about going to practice. She has gained a lot of confidence. We have been so pleased with Nikki and Jim . These two truly care about their students and the joy of the dance. When I heard about bad reviews, I couldnt believe it.Then as always I wonder how many of these people actually have attended this studio. I have been dancing at Dance House Productions for 11 years!!! This is my second family! I have never thought about leaving once! Everyone there is so kindhearted and down to earth!! I have found my second family at dance house and even though I am leaving this year I am still going to be friends with all of them because they are my family. The teachers are amazing and always help you dance your best for recital. I have been dancing for 20 years and have only ever danced at 2 studios the entirety of my dance career. The only reason I changed from my original studio was because I moved out of state for college. Being homesick and missing dance, I looked for a studio to make me feel welcome and challenge my abilities as an athlete. I came across DHP and instantly knew this was the place for me. The instructors and students are amazing people and make anyone feel welcome. Not only did they provide me with the opportunity to dance with them, they asked if I would student teach once I entered graduate school. Being that school was so demanding, I knew I couldn’t dance in my own classes like I wanted and felt teaching was the perfect compromise for me. I couldn’t be more happy with having found this studio and having had created such great friendships with each instructor, the students, and parents at this amazing studio.

We LOVE Dance House Productions! We tried two other dance studios before here and now we know what we were missing. My daughter learned more here in the first month than the entire year at another center. Absolutely no degrading or bullying and I stay at every practice. They have an open window in the studio that you can see and hear what’s being said. They are amazing teachers that TEACH and not just memorize routines. They acknowledge that all kids are at different levels and they know how to challenge each child. They have changed my daughter for the better in both discipline and skill. She will be dancing here for many years to come.

Our daughter has been with Dance House since she was 23 months old, and she has loved every minute of it! The teachers are WONDERFUL and really give their all to teach their students proper dance technique. I wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else! 💯👍🏻

My son started at Dance House Productions in September. I was and still am SO impressed with the professional experience we had in enrolling him. It was clear from the beginning what was expected from us as parents and what the rules and expectations were from our son as well. As someone who has worked with one of your dancers at the Boys and Girls Club, I am appalled by how you made her feel. Whether I have stepped foot in your studio or not does not excuse how a little girl feels after she leaves your studio. Dance House Productions has been pure blessing for our family. We have been dancing with them since 2011 and we wouldnt even consider another studio. Two of my children have danced under the supervision of Nicki and Jim and have been challenged, mentored, and grown in the process. The gift of skilled dance has seen my children through some joyous, carefree childhood years as well as some rough teen years events - and the care and support they have received from DHP has unquestionably contributed to their becoming better people. Though the parking lot leaves much to be desired, once we cross the threshold its like being home! My stepdaughter has had an amazing experience with Dance House Productions over the past 6 years. So much so that 2 of her sisters have joined. Ive spent many hours in the studio and every teacher has been respectful, upbeat, and loving toward the kiddos. The orchestration of recital season is down to a science, and Nikki is always quick to reply with an answer to an email. Id happily recommend this studio to anyone that has a child interested in trying out a dance class.What a disappointment it was to hear that the friends of a single person were posting negative reviews in a bullying manner. Its such a shame to see adults perpetuate a bullying culture instead of setting a good example for their children.

For the many many years I have been here I have never witnessed ANYONE being bullied. Growing up, dance was one of the only things that allowed me to express my true self. I have experienced different dance environments and I can truthfully say Dance House Productions is an outstanding dance studio. Nicki, Kaleigh, Joyce and Jim provide an encouraging dance environment that promotes discipline, hard work, but most of all fun! No student is frowned upon while in the studio, all are treated equal and given the same opportunities. I was a student here for 8 years. I can confidently say DHP taught me life long lessons that I will carry with me forever.Any child would be lucky to go here! DHP has been an amazing place for our daughter for the last 3 years. Nicki and Jim have been patient and kind with her. All the kids are treated so well and Nicki and Jim do their best to set them up for success. Even outside of the studio they are so nice and stop and chat and ask how the family is and how things are going. Our daughters self confidence has grown so much and she has learned so much from dancing here the last three years. She recently pulled a muscle and some of the students gave her some advice along with Jim in what she could do to help her recover. Any time I’ve had any encounters with each of the students, teachers and any other employees, they’ve been sooo extremely helpful and respectful- never have I ever found Jim to be rude or a bully- seriously one of the nicest men that I’ve ever met. I loved my time at DHP when I was in high school. I was brand new at taking dance classes and they were so encouraging and helpful. Classes were fun with great mixes of songs and dance techniques. I would recommend this dance studio to anyone from beginner to advanced.

We have been bringing our daughter to DHP for the past 6 months and she LOVES it. The instructors are kind and our daughter even loves to come home and practice the moves she is learning in class. Nicki is outstanding! She is gracious, answers all of our questions, and I appreciate that she takes the time to chat with all the families while our daughter is in class. DHP is a warm, family friendly place. I am so happy our daughter is learning and growing here! Thank you.

I spent 6 years dancing here, and Imma be straight forward... it was the greatest time of my life. I only took classes with Jim, but I knew the other teachers and have seen them teach, and they are all amazing. They will push you to learn and improve. Other studios choose to make it about having fun instead of focusing on skill. Dance House will take anyone and push them to improve and better themselves. If want to grow in dance, go to DHP. If you want the easy way out, there are other places available.

I have been dancing at Dance House Productions for 12 years, and have learned so much from Nikki, Jim, and Kaleigh. I have no complaints whatsoever and have rather enjoined my time at Dance House so far. They give dancers many opportunities but the students can push themselves however much they like. Dance House is a safe place for students to learn and explore different dance styles, and connect with other dancers. Throughout the year they put together a collection of well choreographed dance routines and at the end of the year, the students and teachers come together to put on a spectacular, thoroughly planned out recital. Over the course of my time here at Dance House, I have watched many dance recitals and pushed myself to explore different dance styles and think about dance in ways I dont think I would have if I hadnt gone here. The community at Dance House is like a family, everyone supports one another and helps each other out. The hateful comments they are getting are unneeded and hurtful. If you have problems keep them to yourself or address them someplace more private. The teachers do not choose favorites or yell at kids when they need a drink of water, they are very supportive towards all of their students and respect their needs. The former students who have left the studio just decided that it wasnt a good fit for them and left. No one is making you send your child here or making your child stay if you are already enrolled in the studio, the decision is yours on whether you and your family will stay or not. Thank you Dance House for being so supportive and shaping me into the dancer I am today!

My daughter has been dancing at this studio for 4 years and she absolutely loves it here! I’ve watched her grow not only as a dancer but with her self esteem and discipline as well. She feels apart of a DHP family and has always received support and encouragement by the owners and the instructors here.

I have been associated with many dance studios and this is one of the most professionally run studios I have seen! The studio has the best/most entertaining year end recital, its actually the only recital I enjoy going to!

How childish and unintelligent do you need to be to write false reviews on a place you have never even been to. All of these bullies reviews are falsely written by people who are trying to promote another dance studio, and all of those reviews should be disregarded. This is a wonderful studio and I know that my family couldnt have wanted a better studio to dance and grow up at. I highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone.

I attended this school for years throughout middle and high school. Nicki and Jim are by far some of THE nicest people, and they are so knowledgable. Classes were always fun and I always learned so much, and you always worked towards a recital at the end of the year. So much fun! Totally would go back if i still could 😉

Place is legit! Came from out of the town to check out the scene of Maine. The owner was respectful and kind. Highly recommend checking out the studio and taking some classes.

Dance House has taught me so much through the past 8 years that I have danced there. I have made so many friends from DHP that have become family to me. The teachers are not bullies and are always there for you when you need help. There are so many opportunities when dancing at DHP. It is all around a great studio!

It saddens me to think that a place that should be building up young, impressionable people can treat them so horribly. Being strict and pushing dancers is one thing. Demeaning and intentionally calling out particular children for needing to get a drink of water is uncalled for. Instructors, teachers, coaches should be motivating our students, not berating them in front of their peers. Boycott this studio. They are the worst! Your response to my review is not appreciated....you dont even know my last name. How could you know who my child is-you dont and that just proves you only care about YOUR bottom line.

Its my daughters first time trying dance and the studio has been great. We feel welcome and safe and the instructor is excellent.

The instrustors were very knowledgeable and good at their job. Nikki was cool and a fun instructor, I recommend for anyone serious about dancing and wanting to learn a lot!

Funny how these reviews with 5 stars dont take into account how many students have left Dance House Productions because of the poor treatment by Jim and Nikki. If your child is one of Nikki and Jims pets then of course their experience will be just fine. Sad that they cant treat all their students will equality.

My Great nieces and nephew love and enjoy their experiences. Their dance recitals are the most amazingly beautiful fun experience!

I can’t say enough positive things about dhp including it’s owners. They have passion and work hard to develop these children not just into beautiful dances but to instill values like hard work, focus, overcoming adversity, giving to others and RESPECT. It’s tough to hear feedback about your child and that maybe they weren’t focused in class but it’s just that, feedback and we need to teach kids that feedback is a gift that enables you to grow beyond what you thought was possible. As parents we should expect and demand it, not be offended by it. Dance class isn’t a babysitter. Most of these posts are kids from another local dance studio being competitive and they should receive some meaningful feedback from their parents about integrity and respect. Something they’d get at dance class if they went to dhp!

This dance studio has sent us to Collections for an erroneous debt that we do not owe when the studio shut down due to Covid. Such a shame as I thought this was a good business. My girls now dance at a wonderful dance studio with reputable owners and teachers.

Nicki is an amazing instructor. I havebeen to many of the recitals and was amazed at the wonderful talent and enthusiasm I could see from the dancers.

I have danced at DHP for 4 years! I take multiple classes and I always feel supported and encouraged by the instructors. I have learned so much here, it’s fun but I also have to put in hard work. The recitals are a blast too! I would 110% recommended this studio!

Dance House Productions was my home away from home for many years until I moved away for college. Nicki, Jim, Kaleigh and Joyce treat all of their students with the utmost respect and kindness. They work hard to cultivate a warm, accepting environment that helps students of all ages and skill levels to progress as dancers. Their rules and expectations are both clear and fair. The classes challenge dancers to enhance their technique and creativity while also being a lot of fun! As an alumnus I can say DHP thoroughly prepares their dancers for life beyond the studio, both in the dance world and in the everyday. This studio was massive part of my childhood and continues to be integral to my dance development whenever I come home, giving me the opportunity to advance into teaching and choreographing. I owe so much to the instructors at DHP and cherish every opportunity I get to work with them.

I was a dancer here for 11 years before it was time for me to go off to college. I was there when Nicki and Jim first opened the studio and I could not be any happier with my experience there. I absolutely loved coming to class, the rehearsals prior to the final recital, and, of course, the final recital of the year. Everything was so well orchestrated and organized, I never felt lost or out of the loop. After the recitals, I couldnt wait to come back again in the fall to continue doing what I loved. I looked up to both Nicki and Jim, as they taught me and watched me grow as a dancer and as a person for 11 years. They have great personalities and I learned so much from them. My years at DHP were some of the greatest. DHP was a place I called home.

We trust that when we bring our kids to a professional buisness that the instructors would act accordingly. Teaching positive reinforcement and bringing out each students talents. Atleast that’s what we expected to happen. Not here. Here our kids learn Intolerance . Favoritism. Shame. Do not go here. The owners did a great job working with and coaching my daughter. She loved the classes

They threw my family away like we were garbage after 8 years of dancing with them. Jim made a false accusation against my daughter. When she stood up for herself and her innocence to him he changed his story. The following morning we received an email letting us know effective immediately we were “released from our contract” aka - kicked out, and they threatened to call the police if we went back! What the heck! And to make it even worse, Nikki refused to talk to us. We were happy there up until this. My daughters were absolutely devastated. What they learned from dance house is that unfortunately sometimes your role models will let you down and kick you to the curb if you stand up for what’s right.

I’ve been dancing at dance house for 6 years and I have learned so much from the teachers at this studio. The teachers at dance house give amazing classes and care about their students.

DHP is an AMAZING studio! My eldest daughter has danced there for six years. She has grown immensely, not only as a dancer, but as a young woman who cares for others and takes care of herself, mind and body, thanks to Nicki, Jim, and other DHP staff. They are so passionate about the health and wellness of young people and are immensely talented! I have heard so many comments about the unique and impressive dance styles choreographed by DHP staff. I would never go anywhere else!

I have been dancing here for almost 10 years and nicki, jim, and kayleigh have taught me everything i know about dance, I have taken various classes and i have had fun in every class, i have made great friends and have no complaints, dance house productions is like a second home to me. i have no idea why people are leaving reviews saying that the owner is a bully i have never seen any of the instructors be even the smallest bit rude or mean to ANYONE. i would not go to any dance studio that is not dance house productions.

Dance House Productions is my second home!!! The instructors care so much about every single kid that walks thru the doors! As a dancer here for 5 years, I have never seen them treat anyone with favoritisms. We are all equal and that’s what make us great! When we work together we become the best! Which is what makes DHP the very best studio in the area. The instructors here have high expectations! Before you sign up it is very clear what the expectations are! These rules make us strive to be greater dancers. Thank you, for helping and giving us the tools to be great dancers and great citizens outside the studio. Jim the owner is a bully. Screamed at my 8 year old daughter. Then was too scared to get on the phone and have a conversation. We never took our daughter back but his wife sent invoices every month after. Then sent them to a Collection Agency. What a joke! Horrible business owners.

Exceptionally great dance school!!!While my daughter has been dancing for four years now she we are now almost done our first year at Dance House Productions.After experiencing something that was not professional or what we had hoped for her dance we decided to look elsewhere. I came in here knowing exactly what I didn’t want out of a studio and with high expectations after our previous experience.I am happy with our choice with dance house. Just from meeting the owners they greeted us, answer all my questions no matter how tedious and treated my daughter like she has been a part of the school from the start. Something I needed as a dance parent who knows little about being a “dance mom” was effective communication and information without me having to search high and low for it. I cannot stress how organized and put together the owners are. Here at dance house I do not have to question anything, or worry. They send monthly newsletters on time that are laid out with all information. They will answer my emails and in an very timely matter every single time no matter how small the question.That is huge. I never have to worry if they will reply to me.The dancers and families that go here are so welcoming. This shows how well they work with the students to be kind and accepting of all children. My daughter was nervous entering kindergarten and she made a friend who dances at dance house. Ever since she has taken her under her wing and that shows the up most level of kindness and respect that they hope their students have.We left our previous studio for many reason, but one being we actually wanted her to learn to dance and progress. While some studios work for some they may not work for others at that’s truly okay. We wanted something with more structure and that’s what works for us. Something that will challenge her and actually work on the tequnique and art of dance. Dance house has been beyond our expectations. They have been working on the routine since day once. Miss Nicki is exceptional. Even the 3-4 year olds routines at the school are incredible and they actually know it without her doing it with them! My daughter recently took at private lesson and in that lesson Miss Nicki even has my daughter try to teach her the routine. That shows how professional and clever she is with how she teaches students to dance. During each class the instructor divides her time to each student that needs help very evenly. I always know if my daughter needs help miss Nicki will be ready to help her. This teacher is so incredible and talented with how she teaches from just the little things such as switching the direction of the room in which they practice the routine, to stopping the music, and so much more. My daughter has learned so much in the past 6 months at dance house.Some may not be able to afford many classes or just want their child to try one out and something I really like about Dance house is that whether you take one class, five classes, or are on the competive dance teams you would never feel you are treated differently. The rec classes and team classes are treated with equality and with the same amount of focus on technique.The next thing I want to say is the dance studio is physically in the top shape I have hoped for. There is on site parking and plenty of it. The studio itself is very clean from top to bottom with Minimal clutter. The waiting room is very large and family friendly. I love the fact that there is a large viewing room window in which I can watch the class anytime I want. Watching the class gives my daughter the challenge and distraction of knowing people are watching and that just adds to making her a better dancer.While dance house may not be for everyone like other studios may not be for us it is the perfect fit for us. I am glad we made multiple stops and did plenty of research before choosing as I hope you do. She has so much fun is a positive structured environment. While we had a rough time at dance before and it was harder than it should have been I am so happy we found DHP!
