My son has been attending MMKF academyfor few years now and I am absolutely impressed with teaching culture at academy under the guidance of Sifu.The students not just learn kung fu techniques but also the important lessons of life helping them socially.Sifu Mike is an expert in his field and also very respectful, kind and caring and provides individual attention to each student. All the other helpers/teachers at school including Sean, Chris, Rocky, Seth, Miles exhibit the same professionalism. My son is thriving at this school and looks forward to attending his weekly classes.

Both my sons ages 5 and 7 love it there. The schedule is consistent and the place is clean and has been wonderful through the stress of covid. During the summer we had classes outside which was awesome. The boys are counting down the days for warm weather just for that. SiFu has also been amazing as well. He checks in to make sure the boys are still enjoying the classes and when they have to miss a class because of not feeling well he makes sure to check in. I’m glad we joined here!

I have been going to MMKF for about 3 1/2 years now i was 11 when i started i’m now 15 and i still love it you make so many great people become friends with so many it’s a really great place and the instructors are awesome and there not just your instructors or teacher they become your friends along the way

My son has been going here for years. He started when he was 4-41/2 he is 19 now. We live it.best program out there. Its been great for him. Brought him out of his shell.Great program.They do birthday parties too, greatjob on the parties.

It has been a great experience for my two children. My children take classes twice a week and they learn disciplines, respect others, how to stay focus, and give their best at all time. All the instructors are amazing and great with kids.

My son has been going here for 3 years and absolutely loves it. The staff are good with all of the kids. My son needed some help before starting medication for ADHD and this was the right choice. They taught him disciple and respect which helped him at school.

I joined the MMKF Academy in 1996 at 4 years old. I earned my black belt at 18, and although my lifes journey has taken me away from my hometown and the school, I owe much of my lifes successes to the invaluable lessons I learned at the school. We have been attending classes here for over a year so this review is long overdue. I cannot day enough great things about Michael Macaris Kung-Fu. Michael has such a great style of discipline and method of teaching the kids manners and attention skills. The kids learn the importance of listening, exercising but also having fun. His instructors are second to none and their patience and attention they give to all the kids is outstanding. I would strongly recommend this Academy for kids of all ages.

Michael and his staff do an incredible job not only instructing Kung-Fu through fun and well-organized classes, but they also teach respect, life skills, and routinely preach the importance of good morals and character. My son has had such a rewarding experience that I felt inspired to sign up for adult classes and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. My flexibility has increased, as has my balance and core strength. I enjoy the mental challenges of the classes as much as the physical and also the pride resulting from my steady progress. Ive been attending the kickboxing classes here for a few months now and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get in better shape or just thinks kickboxing sounds fun (it is!). The instructors are all clearly skilled and knowledgable and are patient and encouraging. Theyll push you to do what you can but never make you feel bad if you cant do something. If you stick with it things that seemed impossible at first become pretty reasonable and its a great full body workout.

Kung-fu will help you become the best version of yourself. My son has been attending MMKF for over a year now and he loves it! My husband and I also love bringing him and watching the engaging lessons. Sifu and all his assistants do an amazing job with each and every one of the kids. They know all their names from day one and provide a very well rounded form of training for both a strong body and strong mind. We are very fortunate to have found MMKF and highly recommend to all kids. I appreciate the amount of confidence they instill in each and every student. I know our son will greatly benefit from Kung-Fu and will definitely carry over into other areas of his life. Sifu and the assistants are excellent at what they do and are the best role models we could hope for.

Michael Macaris Kung-Fu Academy is no doubt the place to go. I bring my 4 year old son here, and he absolutely loves it. The people there are absolutely incredible with the kids, it is refreshing to see such constant happy faces. It is the perfect balance of learning and fun. The older, more experienced will do one on ones with the smaller kids when necessary, which is awesome too. The kids laugh, us parents laugh, the teachers laugh. Its hard to find something for such young kids to stay interested in, but this was 100% it for my son. Its only been a little over a month, and Ive already seen such a huge change and improvement in him in so many different ways. One of the best decisions Ive ever made by far.

I have been very happy with Michael Macaris Kung-Fu Academy, both as a student, and as the parent of a student. The older kids and young adults who act as assistants and teachers are wonderful with the kids and making sure that classes are equal parts fun and functional. I love the lessons my son has been learning about respect, perseverance, and always trying your best. I have also seen him make great strides in his physical abilities like balance and coordination. I have also taken both the cardio kickboxing and adult martial arts classes and have had nothing but positive experiences. I look forward to many more years at the academy!

My son recently joined the Michael Macaris Kung-Fu Academy and loves it! It has been such a positive experience not only for my son but our whole family. Sifu doesnt only teach Kungfu, but he teaches life lessons every class that my son takes with him. Our 6yr son started lessons with Mike Macaris several months ago. The Kung Fu is excellent BUT more impressive are the life lessons Mike teaches the kids. Mike talks to with the kids about respect, focusing, good manners, and listening! Our son loves going and we love the results.We highly recommend him and his teachers to for children of all ages.

My son has been a student at Michael Macaris Kung Fu academy for 8 years now. It has helped him grow into the responsible, respectful, and disciplined person he is today. I get many complements every year from his teachers on how respectful and responsible he is. He takes pride in being a member of the Leadership Team, and works hard to live up to what being a part of the team means - be a role model in and out of the school, be respectful and responsible, keep up your grades, put 100% into any task you take on, and dont give up. The school has become a second home for him, being a place of acceptance and comfort, and there is a comradery with his classmates. Even though he is on the smaller and younger side of his class, he is accepted and respected by his peers/friends as a student and an asst. instructor. Expectations are made clear from day 1 - try your best, pay attention, and respect your teachers and peers... A black belt is just a white belt that didnt give up.

The kids learn so much more than Kung Fu attending the Michael Macaris Kung Fu Academy. The teachers push them physically while teaching them to have fun and respect the individual accomplishments of their classmates. Macaris Kung-Fu is a great experience for parents, and an even greater experience for the kids. Sifu Mike and Sifu Steve are fantastic with children, leading their class with an emphasis on personal discipline and accountability, blended with humor that makes it a lot of fun for the children. They also incorporate older children as assistants with the younger children, which gives the older children a chance to develop their leadership skills, while allowing for more personal and 1:1 interactions for the younger children. The academy offers flexible class times and plans, has a diverse mix of students of all ages and abilities, and is a ton of fun for the parents to watch - its as fun as going to a comedy show! Take the free lesson, and you - and more importantly, your child - will be hooked. Its worth every dollar, an every minute of time invested.

Great place! My 8 year old wanted to try Kung Fu for the first time this year. They allowed him to come try out a class for free. The staff welcomed him and made him feel very comfortable in the class. I would definitely recommend Michael Macaris Kung Fu Academy.
