No idea how they stay in business...especially out at Shiloh Crossing. Surprised they still are an Apple Authorized Service Provider. SOMEONE needs to come in and give them some competition (too bad Simply Mac didnt make it). Pretty sure from now on Ill mail in my repairs to Apple rather than use this personality factory.

Despite some listed reviews, I have been a customer for years and have never encountered a negative experience. Sure Id like my computers to last for a century ... but they dont ... and need to be fixed or dumped from time to time. I have had sales persons I liked better than others, but have never been treated other than cordially, professionally, and knowledgeably. Blaine, the service manager, is very competent and knowledgeable, and has been a great help to us with explanations, instructions and service. I am very happy with this shop.

No Bueno... A stain on the Apple brand. They dont deserve to abuse the reputation of Apple. The reviews here are pretty clear in supporting that sentiment. Apple needs to yank their seal of approval soon!

Worst experience Ive ever had. Took my phone in about a month ago to have them fix my front camera(wasnt working and I had apple run a software analysis check to tell me it was software related) - just for the employee here to tell me that i need to back up my phone and reset it back to factory settings to have the camera working( said this would be roughly $150) so i said I can handle that myself. I reset my phone and backed it up for my camera to not work. STILL. I then scheduled an appointment with apple a couple days later because I was under the impression that the warranty will cover any software/hard drive related issues(apple told me this via phone call). I had to take it BACK into this location. Literally 2 days before I took my phone in I dropped it 2 inches from the ground at the gym, and it shattered the screen in the bottom left hand corner under the tempered glass screen I had on it in the first place. So i said OK Ill just send it into apple and they can fix both of these issues ( knock two birds out with one stone kind of this) So i drop my phone off and they said they will send my phone off to apple and they will get it done. NOPE. I call apple just checking on an update with my phone(i use my phone for business and its now been 6 business days) and they tell me that it is beyond economic repair. they also will not refund the money I spent which was over 250$. you mean to tell me that for your Labor and time to literally put my phone in a box and send it to apple i should let you keep the money that i gave you to fix my phone. -- today i picked my phone up and the screen is 10x worse that when i brought it in. Apple returned it with thick tape tripled up on the screen. and my home button isnt working ( IT WORKED FINE BEFORE I TOOK IT IN) yes i get that 80% of this is apples fault- but also there not the one who will not refund me my money. Computer Village is, and i wouldnt recommend this place to even my worst enemy. The employee is also very snooty and very defensive towards customers. If you have thoughts about going here just instantly turn around. Its not worth it. The time nor the money.

Yeah...Im not sure how theyve lasted so long in Billings. Not impressed at all by prices or service / customer support / professionalism. Ive tried to work with them / use them for over a decade but always come up short - from sale to service. Save time and money and go big box or online. These types of niche stores have passed their prime.

SEND YOUR REPAIRS TO APPLE! I just got hosed the same way as Eric did 2 weeks ago. I paid the $140 and $100 back up fee. They called and said it would cost $787 and they would send it to apple for the repair. So it would be $1027.00 for repairs, but they could sell me a new computer for $1199.00. I thankfully declined both options and decided to wait so I could decide on what to buy. When I stopped by to pick up my computer, Chris brought out my computer and backup. He opened the computer and it turned on. There is nothing wrong with my computer!!!!! He fumbled over and over to try to explain why it wasnt fine. I thought Simply Mac was bad (so bad that they closed up), these guys are worse. When two customers have the outcome......Save your money.

For everyone with computer trouble or in need of data recovery don’t waste your time or money with Computer Village instead check out OnTrack for free diagnostic, quick turnaround and courteous, insightful employees with great customer service. This is the first negative review I have ever written but consumers need to be aware of a truly terrible and corrupt experience. After a referral from Apple to Computer Village I brought my MacBook in for data recovery where I was greeted by an unfriendly employee who informed me I must fill out a contract before even opening up my computer. After the extensive non-negotiable contact and agreeing to pay an outrageous $240 for them to look at my computer I was told it could take upwards of 4-7 business days. In the meantime I was pressed by the employee to buy a new computer and then later degraded by the employee on my lack of computer knowledge and stupidity for not backing my data up. These are valid points but poor customer service and inappropriate after a heartbreaking experience. After having my computer for less then a day I was contacted and told that they could not recover my computer as it was beyond their scope. The only helpful thing they did was give me a pamphlet for OnTrack but only after finagling me out of 240 dollars. Even if I would’ve had a positive outcome with my computer it still was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this company nor will I ever be a customer again.

HORRIBLE experience. My grandma thought something was wrong with her laptop because the wifi was turned off. They continued to try to get her to check in her laptop as if something was wrong with the software and pay $240. I stopped that. They charged her $49 for what they called “training” to show where the wifi was. Dishonest employees.

Their customer service is lacking, everyone knows that. But I took our macbook pro in to get fixed and they charged me 140.00 to just look at it. Then over a week later, I come in and they say to fix it is 440.00 more above what I paid them. They were of course unfriendly as well. The kicker? I took it to simply mac and all it needed was a reset... Nothing Wrong With It ! They took my money and did not check it out, obviously they just put it on a shelf and charged me money. They would have gotten away with 600.00 for doing nothing.

$140 Labor charge $100 hard drive recovery charge . $787 repair charge for a macbook air that we paid 750 for. Blaine would refund the $100 hard drive fee if we purchased a new $1200 equivalent computer from them . So out $240 for for nothing. They literally dont care that they hose you out of the labor charge for something they cant fix. Took it to The Device Dr the day before and was charged $20 for him to say it couldnt be fixed . $20 is a reasonable amount . $140 is beyond my comprehension. I work in the service industry and would not be able to sleep at night knowing i charged someone $140 to not be able to repair the item . Wow just wow !!

This is the worst place ever. We have bought multiple macs from them and the people, including owner, are rude and terrible to work with. Made appointment with Apple to replace battery in phone. They said to go to their authorized repair at 3:00. Drove through snowstorm and then they said I needed to make another appointment. NEVER GO THERE.

Worst customer service Ive encountered at a Apple authorized store. The clerk did not want to answerany questions pertaining to my IPad . He told me I needed to pay for a class to have my questions answered. The clerk was less than friendly. Computer Village is a bad representative for Apple.
