My husband is a federal employee who was effected by the government shut down and while our household income was cut in half our bills were not. As every parent with children knows if you stop paying for a month of childcare then you lose your spot, which at reputable facilities are hard to come by. Stressed to the max I called Cornerstone hoping they’d allow us to keep our daughter home and put our payment on hold without losing our spot. I wasn’t expecting miracles but they delivered one anyway, they were supremely compassionate and readily agreed to not only hold her spot but to still provide services at no cost, if needed! It seriously brought me to tears. I completely understand they cannot do this regularly or for everyone but they did it for us that day and I sincerely thank God for that. Thank you Cornerstone for not forgetting that PEOPLE matter more than money and sometimes a decision that may not be good for business can be the difference in making and breaking a person.
