I used to work at this stable, but the pay was minimal, so I have so set loyalty or prejudice. It was a job. I was there only due to my love of horses. The owner is not a people person at all. But she *is* a horse person. She understands horses better than I understand English (which is my primary language). The horses are extremely well-cared for daily, full stall cleanings, fresh hay and water, fresh straw, exercise, and there are 3 or 4 giant meadows for them to scamper in, and a few corrals as well. The place is nothing to look at. It is not a showplace, and having worked in Malibu and Brentwood, I have seen much prettier locales. But it is a very good place to stable a horse, with caring people who are more concerned with your horses health and mental state than they are about you (the human). harsh as that sounds, it is just basic honest truth. Another good place is Cold Spring farms, but they pen their horses up in stalls that are too small for my liking.
