We have been bringing our son here since he was 6 weeks old. The facility is run very smoothly. I am always impressed by how clean they keep everything. The Directors who run the daycare as well as all the teachers in the classrooms are incredible. They truly care so much about these young children and have felt like family. We have been so happy with our time at IXL and would recommend it to any and all parents considering daycare for their little one.

We love IXL! Our son has been there for 2 years now and we cannot say enough about how much we love it. All the staff is loving and caring towards our son and knows his name even if he is not in that particular classroom. The administrative staff is quick to reply to any questions and the tadpoles app is great to keep track of how my son’s day is going. We highly recommend IXL to families who are looking for outstanding childcare.

We love IXL! Our son has been attending for 3 years now. The facility is always clean and cared for. The teachers genuinely care about their students. The communication via the Tadpoles app is a nice bonus. We feel so happy to have a daycare that we feel so comfortable with and would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

We were so nervous about putting our baby in day care initially but we have been going there for a few months now and couldn’t be happier! The teachers are so personable and give very detailed report outs at pick up. The tadpoles app is such a nice tool because I can get real time updates and I love seeing weekly pictures. We highly recommend IXL!

We have been a part of IXL for over SIX YEARS! We toured many different centers as first time parents and this one was the ONLY one that we felt comfortable leaving our baby at each day. We have put two children through the programming at IXL and have grown so close to each of the different teachers. Everyone is so caring and so welcoming. I do wish the programming for Pre-K was a little more advanced to meet the expectations that kids are held to in Kindergarten but other than that I cannot complain. My kids always came home happy!

We have been with IXL Birmingham for nearly four years and have only great things to say! After having problems with a different daycare and then frustrations with in-home nannies, I can truthfully say that we have loved sending our children to IXL. It is so difficult to find reliable childcare and preschool where you can comfortably and confidently send your babies every day, and we feel so lucky to have found just that in IXL Birmingham!

We’ve been a part of the IXL Birmingham family for almost 2 years and couldn’t love it more. We’ve always felt very comfortable leaving our son from the first day in the infant room. Our infant daughter will be joining them in March.In every classroom, we’ve watched the teachers love him, educate him, and encourage him like their own. He had manners before he could speak through the sign language they taught him and now (at 2.5) he has learned so much more (colors, shapes, counting, numbers, letters, emotions, etc).I would recommend them time and time again - it’s a loving environment with great educators and administration.

We have been a part of the IXL family for 4 years now - having gone through all of the classrooms (at least 2 times, working on a 3rd). Like the other reviews, to say we like it here would be a total understatement. IXL has been an amazing place for our children to grow and learn. Not only is the staff extremely nurturing, the preparation IXL has provided for Kindergarten has been remarkable. There’s also just a good feeling to it - maybe because the facility is well-organized, clean and safe, and overall ran very well. I would recommend IXL in a heartbeat - you won’t be disappointed in not only the love and care given to your child, but also the flexibility and professionalism you receive as well.

Our son has been at IXL Birmingham for about 6 months now and we are quite pleased with the program. His teachers have a very thorough and up to date sense of his needs and progress, and they move him along accordingly. We love the subjective approach.

There is no better feeling than being able to drop your kiddo off at school and being worry free when leaving them. No better feeling than being able to trust the place/people who are looking after your child and that is exactly how I feel about IXL Birmingham! Not only that, but my son has learned an overwhelming amount of things since being enrolled here. You know there is something good about it when your kid can’t wait to go to school! The admin team is pretty amazing too, they always have yours and your childs best interest at heart daily, along with their teachers. Truly no place like IXL

IXL BIRMINGHAM is a great childcare center! My daughter has shown significant improvement academically since starting in preschool- PreK here. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable! Would recommend to friends and family!

We have been extremely pleased with our experience at IXL Birmingham. We have two children, an almost 3 year old, and a 10 month old. The 3 year old started at 9 months old after we transferred him from a different center, and the 10 month old started at just under 5 months. Both kids have absolutely thrived. They look forward to going to school each day and love coming home talking about their friends and what they learned. The older one actually runs away from me each day when I try to pick him up because he doesnt want to leave. Each class has a curriculum and the teachers/admin staff are wonderful about staying in close communication. We have referred several friends who have been pleased as well.

We have had 2 kids at IXL now and cant say enough about how great the teachers are there. They love being with our kids, teaching them, and watching them grow. They prepared our oldest very well for kindergarten and nurtured both of them through the tough transition from Mommy to infant room! We would definitely recommend them to any of our friends in the area.

Our kids have both gone to IXL for years. To say we like IXL is an understatement. The staff feels like family. They genuinely care about and get to really know the kids. Often when picking up either of our kids they would ask to stay and play longer! To me thats really the test. Kids who WANT to be at daycare.Our youngest has sever allergies to many foods and they have bent over backwards to make sure he is safe and that we feel safe with him in their care.

Love this place and highly recommend!We have been with IXL Birmingham since 2015 with 2 children. My oldest graduated from the pre-K class just last year and is truly XLing (see what I did there) in Kindergarten. The way they prepare our kiddos for school both academically and socially is visibly among the best. You wont be disappointed!More importantly, to me, than the preparation is the love and bond each and every teacher and administrator builds with the kids...and parents! IXL is family. We love the way our kids are loved, protected, and challenged each day.

My wife and I have been very happy with IXL in Birmingham. The teachers are caring and our son really loves his teachers and his friends. The tadpoles app is definitely a plus as well.

My son had been at IXL since 2015. This past spring he graduated from the Pre-K classroom and has been more than prepared for kindergarten! He’s “XL-ing” from both an academic and social standpoint. I can say, with confidence, that IXL was a major contributing factor to that. The care and dedication that everyone puts forth, for these children, is immeasurable!We definitely miss the amazing teachers, staff, and friends made during his time there. I’d recommend IXL to anyone looking for quality care and education for their kiddos. If there’s a wait...it’s worth it!

I have two kids who have attended IXL Birmingham since they were each about 4 months old - one currently in the Toddler room and one in Pre-K. We have had a great experience from the directors to every single teacher. Everyone who works here really cares about our kids - they are invested in their growth and they love them like family. When one of our children is having a bad day, the teachers will go out of their way to cheer them up, including visits to their siblings classroom for a hug.We felt comfortable right away in the infant room with the hard transition of back to work and juggling bottles and first foods. Our kids learn so much at IXL, from sign language to nursery rhymes, to kindergarten prep. And IXL is always one step ahead of us teaching the kids to use silverware, sing the ABCs, count, etc. Im constantly surprised at what theyve learned! And its a weight off my shoulders as a household with two full time working parents.As the kids get older and come into their own, needing attention in different areas, the teachers and director have been open and honest and willing to try anything to help them succeed. I couldnt imagine having them at any other center. Im grateful for the love and assistance both of my kids receive everyday at IXL.

I absolutely love IXL Birmingham! I have two children currently enrolled and I cannot rave enough about the teachers and the wonderful learning and social environment provided. I love to hear my pre-schooler share what she learns everyday, as well as see my baby learn sign language and be able to communicate at such an early age. And it’s always a good sign when you pull up each morning and your child screams in delight “we’re at school!”The teachers have always been attentive and loving towards the children. They truly feel like a second family for us. I absolutely recommend IXL for any family looking for a great learning center for their young child.

Our son has been at IXL in Birmingham, MI since he was two. As a working parent, the last thing you want to do during the day is worry about your child. With my son at IXL, we never worry. Our experience with IXL has been incredible. Everyone on the staff has been great and professional... and they are so caring about all of the children.I love how my son is always greeted enthusiastically when he arrives and when he leaves. They track your childs development and you get updates with a report card - this has been great seeing how much my son has progressed - and boy has he progressed! Lets just say hes more than ready for kindergarten and much of that is due to the efforts of the IXL staff.The summer camp program has given my son of taste of what future field trips will be like in school. My son has really enjoyed the extra programs (Spanish and Soccer) offered through IXL.I highly recommend IXL to any parents in the Metro Detroit area!

I cannot say enough about IXL. They have been like family for the past 3 years. I love that I can rest easy knowing my kids in are good hands when they are at IXL. Highly recommend!

Best daycare around...if you value hard working, kind, patient and smart teachers you should be sending your children here. My 3rd child just started, I have one alumni and 1 in preschool. we could not ask for anything more. Well, except if they were closer to our house, we drive from Bloomfield Hills (Walnut Lake/Franklin) area just to keep our kids with people that love them and that we love right back. COME TO IXL BIRMINGHAM, you will not be disappointed!I chose to leave the above post to show how genuine I felt about this daycare and their care for my children when it was written. I wrote this post over a year ago and since then I would have to edit my rating and the information in my post. After spending countless dollars at this facility, bringing in referral after referral and raving about them online and in person to anyone who would listen I was told (after 7+ years with them) that they would not hold my spot during the summer months so that I could accommodate an alternative arrangement with my two older children. Sadly, our last day at IXL was June 2016. I shared my disappointment with all of the directors and teachers there. I was told repeatedly that they do not hold spots for people who chose to take their children out of the facility for the summer. Through my disbelief in this response I dug around with other families to find out if this was, indeed, true. What I uncovered is that they do hold spots for teachers they do not extend this courtesy to non-educators. This news was very upsetting and really made me question how a group of people that you have done nothing but been thankful for and kind to could so easily discard you and your family. So, would I recommend IXL Learning Center - sure if youre a teacher.
