I personally was not happy with my experience at Body Logic. I enrolled November 2019. I was given a tour by Renee and she had stated that every Wednesday would be a theory day and made it seem like she would be there to teach. However, I believe I only had 3-5 theory days where a sweet instructor (I believe she is no longer at body logic) “lectured” the entire time I attended (I was attending full time for 6-7 months) Everything I learned I taught myself. I didn’t mind at the time since I am hard working and able to learn on my own through the textbook and research but I regret paying $10,000 cash to teach myself. Some people are also not able to teach themselves. Renee mostly worked on her clients and my classmates and I rarely saw her teach us. The times that she came in we mostly heard her talk about her financial situation with the school. Due to the financial situation she fired the sweet lady who was the state board prep instructor. Therefore, I had NO state board prep at all- I had to do it all on my own and figure it out with my classmates at the time. All of my classmates and I were unhappy but were not able to say anything since we were afraid she would not allow us to graduate if we did. Now that I have graduated and gotten my Esthetician license I’m not afraid to speak up about my experience. I understand esthetics school only teaches you the basics and how to pass state board - You must advance your education through other classes and resources. However, Body Logic did not teach me the basics nor how to pass state board. I did everything on my own and believe that it was not worth my investment.

Body Logic consistently produces the best estheticians in the Birmingham area. They graduate prepared & ready to actually work in the spa & esthetic industry. The only school in the area that thoroughly educates students on all services. As both a spa manager & owner, I am always confident in hiring from Body Logic.

Awesome (and challenging) hands-on lash training with Jen Lambert! Not an easy skill to master at first, but she provides ongoing training and tips to help you become successful in your craft.

Great school! I had a good experience at Body Logic. Just like ANYTHING in life you get out what you put in it. I worked hard to excel and perfect my facials and treatments while I was in school. I was given the knowledge and tools to study and pass my state boards. After finishing school I now work there part time on occasion. Body Logic also offers post graduate courses that you cannot get at any other school. I would recommend this school to anyone wanting to get into this career!

Renee is a snake and the only thing she wants is money and if you are really trying to be a Esthetician do not go here unless you are trying to waste your time and money.

I Love Body Logic! I have been going there to have services done since they opened. The staff is wonderful the owner has always been professional and very accommodating. Such a great get away for a spa treatment. They have so much to offer and the prices are great. Now they have a fantastic school of cosmetology and the business is growing..I cant wait to get my hair done!

Found them on Groupon and got three facial with them. The staff is very nice and friendly. I had a student who after looking at my face changed the formula for the facial. She did a good job with me. She cleaned my face really well. I think her name was Alla and I am definitely coming back. Thanks!

First, let me start by saying my experience at Body Logic was absolutely top notch 100%, would do it again tomorrow! From the moment I stepped in the door I was made to feel comfortable. Julie (staff member) answered all my questions and was even concerned of my travel to Body Logic. It seems that some people’s GPS on their cell phones doesn’t take them to the correct location.Once I was taken to the room where my permanent eyeliner top & bottom lids were to be performed, Julie prepared my eyes with some type of numbing agent. This would ease any pain I would endure from the procedure. Between the comfortable chair & the soothing music I was almost asleep when Renee Hughes Saxon, the owner, stepped in to greet me with a very friendly demeanor. She spoke to me as if I had known her for ages and told me what to expect; she was very kind. Once Renee began the procedure, my eyes were numb enough not to feel any pain at all. Renee took her time with each of my eyelids and even gave me a mirror so I could look at the results after each one was colored.I would recommend Renee to ANYONE considering a permanent eyeliner procedure. She is a true professional and the quality of work is worth much more than I paid for the procedure! I’m extremely satisfied with my permanent eyeliner. There is a little discomfort after the first night’s sleep (I sleep with my face in a pillow) so I’m a little tender, but my EYES HAVE NEVER LOOKED BETTER! These ladies take care of you and the results are STUNNING! JUST STUNNING!

This place is great. Highly knowledgeable staff. Answers questions and explains everything well. Definitely would recommend this place. Would give it a 10 but it only goes to 5. Great job Body Logic

I live in a small town an hour away from Birmingham and dont have access to many spa services. Ive been going to Body logic for years and have always been satisfied. I have referred several friends for laser hair removal and they are now frequent customers. Renees staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. WONDERFUL facials, love endermologie and laser hair removal! Looking to start getting massages

Best aesthetic school hands down!

I had the best facial ever!!! I had the hydra facial and highly recommend it. My pores looked much smaller and I looked years younger. Great in the summer when we have sun and wind damage to our skin.

By far the worst education I have received. Go elsewhere!!!! There was a bunch of free/waisted time and self teaching via google/YouTube. Hardly any student professor teaching at all, no quality hands on teaching unless requested or an esthetician is available. There is potential and supplies/machines there for you to learn if youre willing to teach yourself!

Was looking for a place to get a cut and thought why not try Body Logic in Birmingham since they are close by. Glad I did. The Body Logic Cosmetology school was wonderful. I highly recommend.

I had eyebrow tattooing here and they are fabulous! They are just as I imagined! I needed mine filled in since mine did not grow back completely after chemotherapy. I cant wait to start having peels and facials! to get my skin healthier! Thanks Renea at BodyLogic 😍

I visited in May 2017 for a facial. I found this place on Groupon. It was amazing. Very relaxing....i actually fell asleep! I cannot wait to return. My BFF also came and was impressed with the service.

So far, Ive been attending Body Logic School of Esthetics for 2 months and I couldnt be more pleased with my decision to go here. Ive already learned so much and cant wait to learn more. If youre interested in esthetics, this is definitely the place to go.

I had heard negative things about their company in the past, but decided to give them a try and booked 3 massages with them through Groupon. To my surprise, the massage therapist was super nice and did a pretty good job. When I used all three vouchers, they offered 3 more at Groupon price (3 for $99), so I booked them again, given that it was offered at such a great price. I called over the course of several months trying to get an appt afterwards, and was told that they were in between massage therapists. I asked for a refund, and was denied. Then they had a massage therapist, but she was out on maternity leave. They were supposed to contact me when she returned, and never did. When I called again, they again had no massage therapist. I requested a refund and was denied again. I continued to call, and months turned in to YEARS. Literally. At this point, it was the principle. One of the last few times I called, I was told that Renee was actually licensed and could have set something up with me the entire time. So, that was even more irritating. I was finally given options other than, Sorry, we dont have anyone here who is able to do it, and we cannot offer the refund. Options given were to 1) Book something with Renee, or 2) to exchange for another another service. I was no longer interested in booking anything, or having any service performed by them and wanted a refund. Again, that was not an option. Finally I got Renee on the phone for the first time. She told me she would not be able to do the massage, and asked what I would like to have done instead. I was interested in a treatment that was valued the EXACT same as the massages at full price and asked for 3 of those instead. She was beyond rude and told me that I would have to pay full price for any service rendered. Again, I only purchased to begin with because they were offered at such a great price! If I were going to pay full price, I would have gone somewhere else. I told her that I would be leaving honest reviews (I did not say negative or positive, I said HONEST) and her response to me was, Well, you better believe that if you have a business Ill be leaving them about YOUR business! Ummm.... okay. After going back and forth with her for a ridiculous amount of time, she finally agreed to issue the refund. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and cannot even believe they are still in business. You couldnt pay me to have a service done in there again (not that they have the staff to cover much anyway, apparently).

I purchased a Groupon from Body logic 2 months ago. Ever since then I have been trying to schedule my appointment. Its been a mess ever since. The therapists work sporatic Saturdays and rarely stay after 5. The only appointments they have avaliable are random days during the week. I called today and they are booked clear through until after June and I asked for the first avaliable and its May 29th, 2013. Seems the place is understaffed. I regret purchasing the Groupon, and if it werent for the money already spent I would be going somewhere else. Really disappointed.

I really dont recommend this place , its understaffing they have the right to be late but if you are some minutes late Renee charge for the whole session which is not ethical , deane its professional and she has good attitude , just not enough staff members

My experience with getting my eyebrows tattooed was horrible. I didnt like the job they did on my eyebrows and did not look good at all. Im never going back.

Had a tough time getting in touch with them on numerous occasions.
