Studio Español has helped me jump start my comfort in speaking Spanish! With their custom tailored conversational approach, I have learned more in 2 months of classes than I have in 2 years of various online language apps.. There is certainly no substitute to learning and conversing with a native Spanish speaker. Not to mention, the classes are super fun, and a great way to meet interesting people!

I decided with my friend to learn Spanish. We debated and finally chose studio Espanol. My friend and I decided Covid would be a great time to learn Spanish, but we wanted someone fun and engaging and also really good at teaching the actual language- not just parroting skills (sorry, thats all the apps do). We chose to have private (zoom) classes so we could move at our own speed. We started with a 10 class package and added 20 more- that should tell you. Classes include reading, conversations, grammar and translating from English into Spanish. Joaquin was very good about adapting to our needs. My Spanish speaking friends are very impressed with how much we learned. Puedo hablar y leer Espanol mas que antes de apprendo con Joaquin. (Im sure there are some errors but we try.)

I had been trying to find a great place to advance my Spanish and to refresh my Spanish-speaking skills. I was so excited to discover the Studio Espanol! When I first reached out to them, I love how they allowed me to sit in on a course to see if it was the kind of environment and learning that I was seeking. Once I sat in on my first class, I immediately knew it was the place for me to further advance my Spanish!The instructors are amazing and so kind as well as very accommodating with your needs and schedule. I have learned SO much in such a short period of time. I love how they structure the courses so that you dont feel overwhelmed with the content. I also love how they do not place too many people in a class. In this way, it almost feels as though you are getting one-on-one learning.It’s been an amazing experience! I plan to continue taking Spanish at Studio Espanol for the rest of the year and probably next year too! :) I highly recommend taking Spanish at Studio Espanol!

I am so glad that I found Joaquin and his wonderful little friendly school! From day one, we were speaking and conversing in Spanish and using the proper VERBS!!! which I now know was the critical missing link. The class is small and very friendly. We all came in at different levels and now that we are almost finished, and with his accelerated method of teaching, we are all pretty much at the same level of conversation. It was something that I did for my own personal enrichment but I am also now using my Spanish on the job because I am so much more comfortable speaking. The class has been an extremely fun experience and Joaquin makes everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend StudioEspanol whether you are looking to learn for business or you are just looking for a fun learning experience to interact with other adults. Its rare that you are able to actually learn a valuable skill and have so much fun doing it!

I was very nervous to try and learn Spanish, I have been unsuccessful with foreign language classes in the past. Studio Espanol makes language learning coherent and, to my surprise, very fun. I look forward to Joaquins weekly lesson. Definitely worth your time and effort.

Studio Español is awesome! They have a perfect blend between getting things done and making it fun and enjoyable. This last session my class had two different instructors and I loved them both. It is amazing how they are able to keep the class challenging enough but also not leaving anyone behind. I have told so many people about this program and I will defiantly be signing up for further courses.

My experience with this program did not start off on the best foot, however I believe it speaks volumes to the teaching ability and experience of Joaquin and his program that I happily have changed my original lukewarm review into a well-deserved 5-star review. The amount I have learned in a short period of time is truly amazing, and I will be continuing to take his courses for the foreseeable future. I just finished a Spanish for Beginners course with Joaquin and Coquis, and it totally paid off. Ive been trying to learn Spanish for two years on my own, but the small group setting and helpful instructors were really the kick-in-the-pants I needed to become a more confident speaker. Im planning to continue with a second course - the weekly sessions really help me stay motivated to learn.

Studio Español is doing a great job of getting me back up-to-speed for overseas travel. The instructors assessed my current ability and geared the instruction toward my problem areas, regularly seeking feedback as to whether the instruction was too slow or too fast. I highly recommend Studio Español for anyone who is an intermediate to advanced Spanish speaker and looking to improve their skills.

Ive been taking classes at Studio Español for about 18 months and am amazed how much I have learned in that time. Joaquins teaching style is a bit unconventional and thats what makes it fun and makes me want to come back, week after week! Their method is unique in that it gives students a real world speaking/listening experience with native speakers which students will not get in a classroom at a school or university.
