If you wanted truth about this school the honest truth is the administration is ghetto and not equipped to handle their students issues. This is the worst school my kids ever attended and your child will not be taken care of at this school.

I love this school my teacher is really good [i am in 2nd grade]

The small gym really didnt have enough seating. The Ladies restroom was unkept( no tissue, trash running over, etc.)

Distance learning has made it very clear that administration could care less about the students. Im beyond disappointed in the way that blended learning is being handled.

I would like to say I really like the fact that the school was very organized first day no hassle in and out. Great job Dr.Lindsey & staff

Its an elementary school. Nice teachers good curriculum. Need more parking but overall a decent school.

This school is one of the few Great ones that Birmingham has to offer! This school is full of awesome teachers on every grade level! Its very rare to find well Educated Teachers who love what they do! This school is Strict but thats what helps makes it one of the best schools in Birmingham! On the flip side there is a Sub Teacher that every parent should be aware of not sure why they still allow her to Sub! She doesnt like children! She is very unkind to the students in fact I have personally heard her speak down on the students in a very disrespectful manner. There is even an report that has been filed against this SUB for her mishandling a student! Every student should respect their superiors but the students should not be afraid of the SUB named Hatcher!!!!This affects the students learning!!!!

My kids love this school . Even tho the teachers are a little tough my kids understand that the teachers are tough bc they want to see them succeed in life ..... Over all everyone is kind to my kids

I went to Huffman Academy for 3 years. Teachers barely worry about instruction and lesson plans because they have to deal with kids constantly fighting and arguing. I witnessed a kid throw a desk at a teacher once even. They worry more about kids on their phones at dismissal time more than actually teaching! I barely learned nothing! It frustrates me because I am not even ready for 6th grade because I will be behind because of the lack of time spent on instruction time.

I worked afterschool care. The kids and staff are awesome. The school is big and nice.

Great school i went there in 4th and 5th grade im in sixth now 😂 But its really nice and big teachers help you understand. Some people say teachers are mean but if you pay attention youre A OK😏😂😑😘🙌

That school is horrible. Teachers will hit kids. If I was you i would not register my kids so parents pull your kids out.

This was terrible school all the teachers do is make u do work while they get on their phones text,talk,be on Facebook taking pictures .I went to this for 7 years since this hole open i only had one grade that i like and that was 4th grade because we had a teacher that didnt care about the other students she just kept teaching but all the other grade i hated thank for the 7 years of hell
