Mr. Powell is excellent with my young daughter. He is awesome at keeping their attention and instilling a sense of discipline and paying attention during instruction. It is always impressive when their are 20 different 5-6 year olds standing quietly at attention. I would highly recommend this school.

Mr. Powell takes pride in teaching the students not only the technique but also important life skills and lessons. My two children have grown emmensly in their confidence, taekwondo skills, and overall life skills. My husband and I feel fortunate that we found this place over two years ago for our kids. Its worth the investment and commitment!

Mr. Powell treats all the children as if they were his own. He is so good with them and they listen to him. I have been bringing my great grandson their now for 2 years. He loves it and wants to be their. He has taught him so much about respect and discipline. We take Bryson their at least 3 times a week..

This has been such a fantastic program for our daughter. After just a few weeks we noticed a huge shift in her self confidence, listening skills, and willingness to help around the house. It has been a total gamechanger for her. I love taking her to class and love how Mr. Powell has parents participate in class by holding pads and boards for the kids to practice on.I cant recommend Bismarck ATA more highly! The instructors are great, the facility is very nice, and the program is awesome. If youre on the fence about enrolling, just do it!

ATA is a real and great environment. I only been in class for a little and I see how my instructor is real and true at what he does. I look forward to the future in what I will experience.

I go to ATA martial arts and its a wonderful program. I have been in it since I moved back to Bismarck. It helps teach you leadership skills. The program is great for young and old. I highly recommend this program. It teaches great skills as well as self defense.

My son loves going to ATA. He’s a very shy child and they teach him various life skills to make him more confident. I love the staff and how they teach the children to be respectful and work hard. I highly recommend ATA if you’re looking to enroll in a martial arts school!

I enrolled my middle daughter to encourage confidence and discipline. So far, I am pleased. My other 2 daughters are looking forward to joining, as well. The instructor, Mr. Powell, is firm and kind and I am impressed with his young child wrangling skills.

My 5 year old granddaughter Dylan attends Bismarck ATA. At first I was hesitant and wondered why a (4 year old then) would need to start taekwondo. But the lessons and values that Mr. Powell teaches the kids are priceless. I highly recommended Bismarck ATA. My 4 1/2 year old has been attending for almost 6 months and he absolutely loves it. He ask every morning if it is taekwondo day. The instructors are amazing and have taught him so much in such a short period. His behavior and his confidence in himself has drastically improved.

Our daughter is new to the program and the instructors have been extremely welcoming. They do an incredible job of working with the kids. We have already seen her confidence increase as well as her drive to work hard and persevere.

My daughter has been at ATA for over a year and has absolutely loved it. My younger son started 2 months ago and loves it. Everyone learns far more than taekwondo and self defense, including integrity, discipline, self esteem, focus, confidence, persistence, goals, attitude, respect and much more.

My daughter has been in ATAs Tiger program for about 9 months. I love that ATA teaches self defense, form, and different taekwondo moves in conjunction with a program that emphasizes their out-of-class character, behavior, and good deeds.

Mr Powell takes a sincere interest in instructing all skills that translate beyond the Art. Skills that can be applied in real life such a discipline, confidence and respect to name a few.

This has been an amazing experience for my son. His attitude is 180 difference since we started and his confidence has sky rocketed! He goes home and wants to show off what he learned and practices until he has the form correct. He practices his pledge at home and says it with such enthusiasm it’s just great to see! I really do think this is going to be something he sticks with, plus the fun themed nights are memorable as well! The structure is needed with the amount of kids but I really like how the two instructors help those kids that are struggling!

If you are looking for martial arts instruction in Bismarck, I highly recommend Bismarck ATA. Mr. Powell and Mr. Scheer are excellent instructors, both very knowledgeable and experienced.

My son has been going since November and he absolutely loves it! He’s in the tigers program and he has learned so much. We first tried it out for some self defense and confidence with bullies at school. But it turned out to be so much more then that! Mr. Powell and Mr. Sherr are pretty good instructors, they do a great job teaching and keeping all the kiddos in line. Can’t wait to watch Brody doing tawkwondo in the many years to come!

My son has been going to the ATA Tigers classes for a few weeks and has enjoyed it so much that hes talked me into joining in the adult programs. Any service that can get my kid so excited that he can convince me to do it is worth five stars!

Seriously the best thing we’ve done for our family, not just our daughter! Every week, Dylan learns more than self defense, she learns mental defense!
