Mr Wright without question was my first choice for driving class, he taught my mother driving when she was in high school in 1985’ and my sister 2 years ago, he taught me everything I needed to be a safe driver in all different conditions. I will recommend him to any young driver I know.

Had a great experience with Mr. Wright! He was extremely qualified and gave great instruction without making the lessons stressful. During the sessions, I became much more comfortable driving, and I felt like we practiced a lot of practical skills instead of driving the same safe roads over and over. My 16 yo son had a wonderful experience with Mr. Wright. As most parents know, our children driving, is extremely nerve racking, to say the least. We want them to be as prepared as possible with the most experience available. That is exactly what we got. Mr. Wright made sure he had practice with everything imaginable. Mr Wright was the best person I couldve asked for in a driving instructor, he made it a lot less scary, especially because I was really nervous. It was nice to have someone who had obviously worked with many kids before and wouldnt yell at you the second something went wrong, which I really appreciate. I am now fully confident in my driving abilities and feel ready and prepared to drive on my own!

I have now had all four (4) of my children take Drivers Training with David and Wright-Way, over the last 8 years, and as nervous as I was for each to drive in todays impatient world, I have been nothing but thrilled with their abilities and understanding of the road and safety. Its quite a relief when I know they may be on the interstate or driving home at night.Honestly, based on some of the stories I have heard from parents who have used other local driving schools, its my well documented opinion that if you use anyone else in the area, youre likely short changing your driver when building their driving foundation.Best teacher, best price, and best results...Period. Flexible schedule & relaxed, anxiety free lessons. If you are an adult driver I recommend practicing a little more in the busy downtown intersections to gain better confidence in dealing with a variety of unexpected situations before the exam.

Mr. Wright is really helpful. I learned from him for 2 hours and was able to drive in the freeway! A great instructor; patient and easy-going. The best inscrutor around. Not to mention, the best price. He’s very understanding about scheduling, and is very good at calming you down while driving. If you mess up, he helps you through it instead of getting frustrated. Plus, he tells great stories to keep you entertained while driving. So glad I did behind the wheel with him!

Not surprised at the other 5 star reviews! This is the best priced school in the NRV and has the best track record than any other school. The instructor is very kind, patient, honest, punctual and informative. His lessons are well planned. He does not delay getting your lessons scheduled/completed. Highly recommend this school. David Wright is a great teacher, I not only learned a lot but had fun while I did it. He is also the cheapest in the New River Valley. He will work with schedules really well, which helps with sports and stuff.
