My kids are 7 years apart so there was quite a gap in their school years. Imagine my surprise and joy when the same driver picked up both of my kids for their first day of kindergarten 7 years apart. I love the community here. It’s truly something special. It’s very comforting to know my baby is in safe hands.

I’ve been a driver for many years. Our company is straight-up family. They took care of us during Covid by continuing to pay us and they know they can count on us now.

Working with Ms. Moe in order to coordinate our field trips is a breeze. Each time we contact her to arrange yet another, she is curious to learn how the kids enjoyed the last one. This is an example of a person who is perfect for her job.

I am there at the bus stop more often than not to greet my little one when she gets dropped off and usually when she gets picked up as well. I feel qualified to speak to the safety the american student transportation drivers exhibit. It is exemplary and I feel no qualms whatsoever about entrusting my child’s care to them.

Not only does this company provide our school transportation but also transportation for our church and church camp. Most of the drivers have been with American Student Transportation for many years so you really get to know all of the drivers and you know your kids are in safe hands.

Ive had few issues dealing with this bus company for our PTO. They helped us organize transportation to the next two field trips without problems. Everything we worked with them for last year was incredible too, covid aware. I love working with these people.

They know how to take care of us. I was recently on the road and broke down. The mechanic got to me quickly and had me up and running quickly so I could go pick up my kids. This is an impressive company to work for.

Kevin Bisek is the head honcho at the terminal at American Student Transportation. He has hired a great team of dispatchers that really know what they’re doing. They are knowledgeable about the area, fast, and efficient. They are also a great group of people to be around.

I recently had the chance to work with Jessica Moe to coordinate a chartered field trip for our students. She was truly a delight. The day turned out to be one our students will remember for a long time while Jessica’s outstanding customer service will encourage us to plan many more similar outings.

This may sound silly but one of my favorite parts of my job are the dispatchers. They truly care about what is going on and what you need when you’re out on the road. They are knowledgeable, patient and safely get everyone where we need to go. Could not do it without them!

The mechanics American provides for us drivers make us feel as well protected and cared for as we do the students. I have never been in need of a fix that was not seen to as immediately as humanly possible.

American Student Transportation has the best mechanics I’ve ever worked with during my career as a driver. They care about the kids getting to school safely. That is why there is always a mechanic available to address any kind of mechanical problem.

We’ve been an American Student Transportation school for the past year and I must say it has been a breath of fresh air. We have a number of students with special needs and those needs were not being fully met with our previous transportation service. The safe and caring drivers at American provide a ‘night and day’ difference.

With so many close friends and family having had their wages reduced or stopped due to COVID. I feel truly blessed that American continued my pay throughout. I’ve always been hard-working but it is so much more rewarding to have those type of ethics when you are working for a stand-up employer.

Working with this team was a wonderful experience last year. Im looking forward to the year ahead. Its nice to know we are working with caring, considerate people dedicated to hearing the voices of their clients.

I am really happy about this wonderful team. They worked out some concerns our parents brought to us at the start of the year. Without prodding or major hurdles they adjusted how the busses for our school were handled. Things were wonderful.

I love work for them. I work in Maple Grove and wouldnt change anything. We like a big family. We can even bring our kids to work.

The bus driver that is assigned to us from American Student Transportation is the sweetest person ever. She knows exactly what to say. She can assure kids that it is okay and safe to leave their moms at the bus stop.

We decided to charter a party bus for a family gathering. They were fantastic to work with. They know how to provide a stress free experience leaving you with more time to just have fun. The bus was very clean and well maintained.

I feel so blessed to have found a home at American Student Transportation. We are truly a family and you have a great group who are genuinely interested in supporting you. They pay is very competitive with good benefits.

Speaking from the driver point-of-view, American’s dispatchers are the best and working directly under Mr. Bisek is the best place to be. I am not new to driving for a living. I have made the rounds. This is where I plan to stay.

My son started school this September and I am relieved that his school has chosen American Student Transportation as their bus service. My son loves his bus drivers and from little anecdotes he relates to me, I can tell the drivers really care about the kids.

Having driven for other bus companies previously, I’d have to say it is the combination of our fantastic dispatchers and Kevin Bisek himself, the general manager who oversees my terminal, that make driving for American Student stand apart from and above other companies.

I’ve worked for American Student Transportation for many years. Once Covid hit I was so worried. As it turned out there was no reason for worry as they continued to pay us through Covid. I was blown away at their dedication to us.

If you love driving, have a clean driving record, and love kids, you will not want to miss this opportunity! The staff and trainers have all been really helpful and they train you on site if you havent gotten your Class-B drivers license yet!

I have been working here since August of 2020 and was really nervous about working at a new place after spending so many years at another bus company. The management has been strict but kind which I like to see. No favorites. Not like the other place. I am starting to feel like I have a family here. Honest review.

I’m a nanny and this morning my nanny kid was standing outside for the bus before it got to his stop and the substitute bus driver drove right past him. She has been the substitute for Turtle Lake Elementary bus #39 a handful of times so she knows the routine. She has yelled at my nanny kid previously saying where he gets picked up is not his stop. Which is not true it is, and has been all year and it’s shouldn’t be a problem either way because she doesn’t have to go out of her way. But today she intentionally drove right past. I was standing out there with him, and I know kids on the bus were telling her to stop but she wouldn’t. So unprofessional!!!

I personally feel uneasy about putting my son on this bus. It makes me cringe after being blatantly disrespected over the phone. Makes me wonder how my son is being treated while riding the bus if they would speak to me in such a way and I’m very worried now about future trips. Very angry dispatch staff who clearly hate there jobs prayers that it’s not taken out on any children.

This bus company is a joke. They put making money over the safety of student. Bus stops set 2 miles or more from students homes. It took me over a month to get a bus stop in a safe location for my child last year. This year we cant get the bus to arrive on time at least once a week, the busses break down constantly and they cant keep a consistent driver on the route. The bus compnay actually told the school that they couldnt do a 2 hour late start due to icy roads because they wouldnt have busses available, while they are ON CONTRACT to deliver our children to school. All other schools in the area are also on a late start!

Please stop parking your bus on our residential street (Harbor Place Dr in Shoreview) around 6:20 a.m.. ir was bus 712 today. Its noisy, often leaves an oil slick in front of our mailbox and pollutes the air with diesel fuel. This has been going on for years. My next contact is to the city if it happens again. Go find a parking lot while you wait to begin your route. Thank you in advance for being considerate of your neighbors.

I worked there once and it was nice they have some new buses.

Noticed short bus number 644 (on 1/19/18 at 7:00 am) needs some more training. They turned right on a no turn on red, drove way past the speed limit then drove 10-12 under the speed limit in the left lane.

Great place to work, its like a family at work, great staff to work for and work with your schedule and good kids, have been there 6 years.

My daughter loves her bus driver. She’s had the same drive ever since she started elementary school sits in the front just to talk her ear off the entire way to school and back. My daughter is autistic and does not take to just anybody so this means a lot to us.

American Student Transportation has a fabulous group of dispatchers, they are quick and I’ve always been able to count on them. I’ve been a driver here for many years and am happy to say the busses are very safe and reliable.
