My 10 year old loves going to Karate! It has helped him with his self-esteem, respect, and overall behavior! Extremely affordable, they have many classes and even tournaments!

I cannot express enough how great a dojo this is. My youngest son has been going now almost 4 years now, I could not be more pleased. The dedication, professionalism, equal fairness given, time and passion that is put forth by all the instructors is amazing. Ever since I started taking my son I started getting the itch to get back into karate after more than 20 years not doing it. I recently joined few weeks ago, I am so happy, excited I did. I cannot recommend this karate school enough! . Traditional. Very professional staff. Theyll accommodate according to your level. No previous experience needed. Great for kids and adults as well.

I love this place. They truly are family to us. We all workout together. They know how to work with children. They always make classes a fun and education for the kids. They include parents in classes sometimes so we know what our kids are learning and also for our kids to see we care for the sport they are in. It has been a great time every time we are there.

Kokusai is one of the few schools in North Jersey that offers the tried and true traditional karate experience. The students are well-versed in katas and sparring alike. They have classes for little ones as well, which offers something for just about everyone in the family. They also offer kickboxing classes for those who may not feel quite up to dive into the martial arts experience, head first. Definitely worth a stop-in if youre looking to try something new. The young lady at the front desk is super helpful, as well!

This dojo is an amazing facility. The instructors are always very devoted to the students and always push their students to reach their best potential. They are all so friendly and want nothing but the best for the students. Not only do they learn traditional martial arts, they also learn about character development, core values, creative expression, and they build a bond with the Warriors family!

My son and I have been apart of the Kokusai Dojo family for the pass 2 years everyone is amazing very pleasant, professional great environment and leadership.

The staff is great, I personally used to be a student of Shihan Eddie Torres back in 2005. Whom has various years of experience and even my own younger brother now attends the dojo. What this place offers that others may not, is the sense of real discipline and control. It is not just a place that offers self-defense but rather an environment that where one can feel comfortable and not just feel like another student but a part of the family.

Best decision I ever made for my daughter. Love the staff here, starting with Shihan Eddie ( a long time friend), Geselle, Sempai Angel and Travis, along with the rest of the teachers. It is family oriented. I recommend this place.
