Absolutely astounding school! It was such a fun experience. I thought it would be difficult to memorize so many drinks, but Jessica and Henry made it so easy for me. It was a bright clean environment and the class sizes were comfortable. I highly recommend for anyone looking for experience or even to learn a new skill.

One of the best experiences Ive had. Henry is awesome ; very patient, helpful and determined to make it as simple and as easy to remember everything. He goes through all the steps , from setting up the bar to making drinks to POS to private parties. This is a 40 hour class , so you have to remember and learn a lot but Henry makes it fun and challenging. On top of all this , he helps with finding you a job and making a resume. 100% recommend this school , wouldnt even think about any other !!

I had the greatest experience at Shake and Pour. Both Henri and Jessica are so attentive and excellent teachers. They are both extremely knowledgeable and patient with their students, making class fun and informative. Fantastic Bartending School! The majority of the course is hands-on, so you get plenty of practice behind the bar. Absolutely loved my experience at this school! Great equipment, great lessons, and a fantastic instructor. Henry really knows his stuff and really does have the skill to be a teacher. My instructor was very nice he would push me but also if there was something I wasnt getting. The whole experience it self was just really cool and I would recommend it for everyone even if your not looking to become a bartender. Totally loved the school and classes! Came from out of state and realized this school offers what other schools lack. Their staff is absolutely awesome, they work with you, make you feel comfortable and confident behind the bar! What I love the most is that they also work around your tight schedules to help you as much as they can! To be honest I have no complains at all. Took my 40 hours class and I LOVED IT we had fun, laughed and made new friends it was great! Really awesome, brand new school that just opened in October 2016. The instructor/owner is very friendly, charismatic, and very easy to talk to. A lot of information to take in 40hrs worth of class, but Henry makes the classes fun and interesting. As a part-timer, 2 weeks (4hrs a day, Mon-Fri) flew by.When you sign up, Henry will work with your schedule to make sure you are able to attend each lesson. There are morning and night classes, plus weekend classes.If bartending is a line of work that interests you, this is the school to go to learn.

Extremely knowledgeable instructors, I was taught mostly by Jessica and had Henry as well and I must say they were top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and even though I already had some background with bartending but this course had expanded my knowledge and skill further then I thought possible. Id recommend this school for everyone, regardless of if youre a beginner, or already a bar-tender, youre sure to learn plenty.

I had such an amazing time learning how to make drinks here at this school. Its not only about just making drinks, its about learning the ins and outs of how it is working behind the bar. The most common rules and the not so common rules. Tricks of the trade tips, advice on how to run your own business in private parties. Henry is easy to understand and he explains in detail how to move behind the bar and the counts and garnishes each drink uses. He also utilizes videos on the web to show us what to do and what not to do while pouring shots or concerning the safety of our future customers. I highly recommend coming to this school, especially if you have no experience at all in making drinks.

It was nothing less than great! The one on one training really helped point out what I drinks I needed more help with, or simple tips to make the drinks faster like how to hold more than once glass at a time. I personally learn by doing, and it was all hands on which helped me remember easier.

The greatest instructors for bartending are at this school and theyve been teaching for so many years and it shows with the way they teach and explain everything, I was taught by Jessica and she is amazing and the little tips and tricks they teach you are so helpful!!! Great school. I went in before signing up to meet with the owner/ instructor Henry and he was extremely polite and helpful; he didnt make me feel pressured to sign up at all. I did a full time course which is a week long and very intense but Henry was always patient with the class making sure every student understood what was being taught before moving on.The best thing is that he helps with finding a job. I graduated on a Friday and already had an interview lined up for the next Monday. He also has a board set up that is constantly updated with new positions and he emails you about openings forever. There is also a lesson on resume writing, interview tips and how to find a jobs.TLDR; I highly recommend this school.

At first I had to do some research to make sure that I should spend $300 on a bartending school. Seen some good reviews, so I decided to visit the place to make sure the place isnt sketchy. Checked out the spot, spoke with Henry & signed up for the full time classes (which is extremely hard..a lot of things to remember!) but Henry is very very patient with you and a very good instructor. He makes sure you understand everything and he makes sure youre comfortable before moving on. Place is very clean as well which is a plus! Overall I would def recommend people to come here. Its worth it

Henry does an excellent job of teaching drink recipes more than just having us memorize it. We do it repeatedly until its muscle memory and I can make it without thinking about. The environment is very enjoyable as well.I think thats how a bar school should be run.

Took a 2 week bartending course and was impressed by how knowledgeable the teachers are. Trained behind the bar, set up and closed. After 2 weeks got certfied, starting to apply to different venues now.

Id been looking for a proper bartending course that would teach me the things I need to know behind the bar. The experience I had here was fantastic! Great people and great teachers that really know their stuff! Definitely worth the price and theyre schedule was so flexible that I was able to accomplish everything in a week and a half. Also the information they give you is something you can take with you afterwards and study and improve on even after your done with the course. I learned so much in the span of that time, a lot more than I thought I would or could. Im highly considering (and probably going through with) the flare course after having such a great experience with Jessica and Henry! Highly recommended!

I looveeddddd this school! Both of my teachers were perfect. They were patient, encouraging, and fun. I learned everything there is to know about bartending from legal responsibilities up to job interviews. They gave my own bartending starter pack and I can keep coming back for refreshers and the flare class. They were flexible with my schedule too. I don’t Think a school can top this one. Just got my certificiation for bartending here. This is the best bartending school in new jersey because the instructor henry makes sure you learn everything that a bartender needs to know and really prepares you on top of that he always has job listings available for bartending jobs for you all the time after graduating.

There are times when you spend money and you arent convinced you have gotten your moneys worth.With this course that is NOT the case. I walked in with a little experience as a bar back but no actual bartending experience. Walking out I feel I have a solid foundation and the confidence needed to succeed. Your instructor Henry is very knowledgable on not only the drinks but also the business aspect of the bar business. They even offer job placement ! Thats something other bartending schools in the area do not offer. I highly recommend anyone reading this post thinking of signing up for a class to DO IT you will not be dissappointed !
