The instructors are excellent, and clearly care about their students. They offer classes and lessons for all skill levels. Arthur Murray is a great place for anyone to learn, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of dancing! I cant recommend this dance studio highly enough.

My husband I started dance lessons at Arthur Murray 4 months ago! We loved coming into the studio for individual lessons and group classes. Then Covid-19 hit, and classes and lessons were all moved online via zoom. As beginners, we werent sure how helpful these classes would be, but we have been wonderfully surprised!It is so convenient to join a dance class from the comfort of our living room! Because we arent driving to and from the studio, we are away from our children for a shorter time. We simply toss on our dance shoes every evening when it is time for class to start!We have also loved having a built in date night, learning a new skill together that we enjoy! We enjoy the sense of community and friendships that are created as we interact with the instructors and other students almost daily.Finally, Matt and Barbara have been wonderful online teachers! They are able to teach the dance steps and patterns effectively, and help us see what we are doing well and how we can improve. They have also introduced us to several new dances, and we are loving adding some new steps to our repertoire. Thank you Matt and Barbara for this opportunity to stay connected and keep dancing together during social isolation!

During the last two years, I have greatly enjoyed learning to dance inside the studio and am now continuing to learn by utilizing the online dance lessons. My husband, Paul, and I started taking lessons at Arthur Murray around three years ago, and its been great for us. Dancing is our hobby; its not his hobby for which I am trying to muster enthusiasm, nor my hobby that he *trying * to enjoy. We can actually dance now, and its a source of joy! While some dancers are back in the studio, we are still participating from home on Zoom, and its working well. I highly recommend the Bloomington Arthur Murray studio.

I have greatly enjoyed learning to dance with Arthur Murray both in the studio and through online lessons. The warm and friendly instructors are very skilled and professional. They make learning to dance fun and enjoyable. The addition of the new online virtual dance classes has been a great experience too. One of the best decisions Ive ever made was to start taking dance lessons at Arthur Murray. The instructors are wonderful and supportive, the community is warm and welcoming, and Ive learned more than I ever expected to. The classes are a time when I get to step away from everything else in life for awhile and laugh, learn, move, and interact with others. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

My wife and I decided to take introductory dance lessons in preparation for our daughters wedding. Our dance instructors made us feel very welcome and comfortable at the studio. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to continue taking lessons and have never regretted having done so. The staff is composed of men and women who are not only excellent dancers but, more importantly, are excellent teachers. Our fellow students are quite enjoyable to be around and many have become good friends over the years. Anyone who desires to learn dance and, as a bonus, expand their social circle should definitely check out Arthur Murrays Dance Studio.

A few nights ago I was dancing at the Bloomington Arthur Murray Dance Studio, again. I don’t believe I’d still be dancing had I taken an introductory class from another company in the area. The staff and students make this dance studio stand out from others. Instructors are well trained, varied in expertise, and make learning fun and successful. They welcome students regardless of talent and encourage them to learn at their own pace. I had little skill but saw the beauty of dance and was intrigued. I saw the challenge of dance and welcomed it.

Hubby and I stumbled in with our communal 4 left feet over 8 years ago and were still in love with learning new steps. The instructors are top notch and the social interaction with our fellow students is half the joy. We are grateful for all the doors that dance has opened up in our lives. Come on in - you wont be sorry!Edited to add: its been three years since this review and we STILL love Arthur Murray :).
