Survival and Steve make for a wonderful duo, they make learning fun, engaging, and unique. They create a stress free environment so you will be able to thrive and learn without the pressure that you may otherwise feel. Theyll take the time to contact you and respond if you need advice or help in preparation for your CNA exam. Their willingness to advise and help you will extend beyond the time after the class and after becoming an CNA, they are a great resource. I strongly advise if you want a very hands on environment that will allow you to succeed Id consider them.

I am currently taking the CNA classes at at ZANDU HEALTH and I have not met Steve but Survival is very rude and not accommodating to the students there. They have outdated equipment you won’t even use on the state CNA test this is a waste of miner and time. VERY RUDE PEOPLE GO SOME WHERE ELSE

I can not stress enough how wonderful the experience was working with ZHI. Survival and Steve are not only beyond knowledgeable in the classroom, but they truly care about you and your success as a student. Bonus, they are also genuinely wonderful people. I passed on my first attempt and thank them entirely for that. A++ experience all around.

Survival and Steve were great, experienced instructors! They both made sure I was completely ready for my licensing exam and had all the resources I needed. The class was very manageable and the resources helped me learn all the skills I needed. In person classes allowed me to practice my skills and get valuable feedback on how to improve. In-person clinicals were very valuable for patient experience. Zandu is also a lot more affordable in comparison to other institutes. I have no complaints and highly recommend the blended hybrid CNA course to anyone interested!

This was a great option for a CNA class- especially during covid times! The class was small, we had the opportunity to learn and practice skills (even outside of class time), and Survival & Steve were very goal oriented in trying to get all of their students to succeed. Flexible schedules and dedicated teachers!I would highly recommend this school. Both Steve and his wife, Survival, are great instructors. I guarantee you will pass your exam on the first try because of their dedication to make sure you succeed in becoming a CNA and passing your state Exam. My instructor was Mrs. Survival, and she was great! She was very easy going and made the learning experience fun and easy to understand.I took my state exam two weeks after my last class. I passed my state exam on my first try, both the written and skills test. All thanks to my great instructors and their dedication to make sure I pass. It’s also worth noting, after registering to take the state exam Steve allowed us to practice our skills. It was kind of like a mock test, which really helped me in passing my state exam! Definitely attend this school if you can. It’s worth it!

This school is the best hybrid. The teachers are knowledgeable of the course material and Survival is very friendly. She teaches with alot of love and she pays attention to details. We were looking for a CNA course during Covid and Zandu has a online Hybrid option. Steve was very accommodating to help coordinate our online experience and the face to face skills training. Our clinical experience was great at a nursing home. They also helped with TB test required for nursing students and a CPR training course when no other places were offering. Plus allowed us to come in to practice skills when state exams were limiting who they would test and our test date was pushed out to August. His wife, Survival, is an excellent trainer and works very hard.

This is a very good school to get your CNA, TMA...and all. My friends got their CNA certification through the school and also referred me there. The teaching is really explanatory and i did my board exam once and passed.

After poor experiences with representatives of the American Red Cross and other CNA training programs, I looked further into ZHI and the difference was like night and day. Steve Mandieka quickly answered my inquiry and patiently responded to my many questions. His attitude was enthusiastic and welcoming. I was so relieved, and felt like I finally found the right place for me - a program run by exceptionally caring and smart people.During classroom training our excellent teacher Survival Mandieka told us that as a CNA our patients may not remember all the things that we help them with, but they will remember how we as CNAs make them feel while we care for them. And that is how to make a difference in their lives.And that is how Steve and Survival make a difference in their students lives.As the school navigated the Covid 19 landscape there were challenges that resulted in changes to the program, but I felt the focus was always on the students and their needs. They did a great job in providing us a good education under difficult circumstances.They were also very open to helping out students who might need extra time and attention.I passed my state exams the first time and I am so thankful for ZHI.

Excellent training for CNAs. When my daughter took her State exam the person testing her asked where she had received her education as she was so impressed with her skills. Past State exams, both written and skills, on the first attempt. She did so well that my son decided to attend too and passed the first attempt as well. Steve was not only the most inspiring teacher I have had, but he was also the most willing to teach me. Steve went above and beyond to teach my CNA class, and he does that with every class he has and every student he teaches. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get into nursing. I just finished there and it was a great experience, great teacher(s) (Steve Mandieka was mine) and the perfect atmosphere. Class sizes are small so you get to know people better and have more 1on1 time with the teacher, who always made himself available for that. We got a high class education on the subject and more about other things that can relate also to nursing. I see this teacher as more of a mentor to me, and you can tell he really wants everyone to not only succeed but excel in everything they wish. 5 stars is not an exaggeration, but also maybe not enough. I really enjoyed taking my CNA course with Zandu as I needed this course as a prerequisite for the LPN program that Im trying to apply for(hopefully next Spring or the Fall of next year if not Spring.). The staff was very encouraging & supportive. You can tell that they really care about what they do and want to see their students succeed.I waited about 3 weeks after finishing their course to take the state test(I wanted to make sure that I gave myself plenty of time to practice everything that I learned in class.)and after practicing, Im happy to say that I passed both my written and skills test last week!
