Council Oak is an incredible learning environment, even among other Montessori programs. Outdoor classrooms, farm-to-table working garden, and guides who are truly invested in each child’s development. Our son had a rocky start in another Montessori preschool but once we came to Council Oak, he has been thriving, learning, and even during pandemic, his socio- emotional health has been nurtured. An absolutely amazing, diverse, community of families and friends.

Our experience at Council Oak has been wonderful. The staff is caring and very focused on the children as individuals. As a parent of an upper elementary student I have found that my child flourishes academically. The confidence she displays in her work and in her self is amazing.

My two sons started at COMS when they were in Children’s House (preschool)—the older one will graduate 8th grade in 2021. Both of my sons are thriving as creative and conscientious young people who are discovering how and what they want to contribute to this world.If you are looking for a school that educates the whole child, COMS is the place. The Montessori method allows children to explore traditional academic areas (language, math, science, social studies) with hands-on, multi-sensory materials. Gardening, music, yoga, and theater further complement an already beautifully diverse curriculum.

Remember going here as a kid and I loved it but something could improve but out all it was AMAZING
