My son is loving karate here! Mr. Busker clearly loves teaching the kids what he knows. Every class my son comes out with a big smile and I can already see the confidence he is gaining. There are always several additional adult helps in the classes, so each kid really does get the help and teaching they need.

Our first experience with Karate and my 6 yr old is loving it! He looks forward to it each week and wishes he could go everyday! Our experience with Mr.Busker has been great very informative I would 100% recommend! Excited to watch my son grow and learn in this program!

AKKA Karate is a wonderful place! Our 7 year old daughter just started and is LOVING going. I have nothing but great things to say about AKKA Karate and Instructor Busker. I signed my 6-year old up about two weeks ago and he cant get enough of it! I signed up back in January as a New Years resolution to lose weight and decided to take up karate again after a 25 year break. Mr Busker is amazing. He takes time during the one on one intro to introduce you to karate and makes sure you are comfortable. For the past 6 years at work I have been on a call center with a sit down job so needless to say I am not in peak shape. He will push you but is very patient with everyones limits. I have learned so much in the past weeks and I am today going to my yellow belt exam. During every class he asks if we have questions and is never too busy to give feedback or reshow a move we are practicing. In the short period of time I have lost 8 pounds, I can see a huge difference in my daily stress levels, I am more focused, and I am having a blast. I would highly recommend AKKA Blue Springs. This location is part of a larger system that teaches Kempo Karate. Although I didnt realize the difference between the different types of martial arts when we started, I am so thankful we found this system and Mr Busker. We enrolled our son thinking it would help him physically, we had no idea how much it would change him both physically and mentally. I could write forever in this review about AKKA Blue Springs and Sensei Mark Busker. From the younger students to the adults his focus on his lessons are 2nd to none, and the way he is with the children and the care he shows for them is special to see. I couldn’t imagine my daughter taking lessons anywhere else and we are so blessed to be a part of AKKA Blue Springs.

The instructor at AKKA in Blue Springs is hands down the best instructor that I have had the pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable in multiple disciplines and pushes each and every student to reach their full potential - not only in the dojo but also the real world outside the dojo. His classes are next to Fazeek fitness which is a state of the art gym with some of the newest and greatest equipment available. The instructor is great with kids of ALL ages as well as adults.
