Very Happy to have my daughter in swimming lessons. She is close to 4 years old and needed lessons and we felt ISR would be best because they will teach her to swim as well as self rescue and for some reason my daughter thought that she could get into a pool ‘because she was a big girl’ even though she never had lessons. We signed her up and she had a rough day or 2 at the beginning but she got over it by day 3. She is really loving it and the instructor Jenny is great, very knowledgeable and caring. The facility is also great. Most importantly I feel safe with her there because Jenny’s knowledge and experience teaching kids to swim. Very Happy with our experience.

All three of my kids have taken their swim lessons with Miss Jen! The youngest starting at just 10 months old. Watching your baby learn to save himself in the water is hard for any parent, but Jen does it in such a loving way while always sharing her knowledge with you - making you confident that you made the right decision! Look no further - sign your kids up with her now!

Miss Jenn is an amazing ISR instructor. When we started lessons, my daughter would not even allow water to touch any part of her face without immediately bringing her hands up to cover her face. Miss Jenn patiently worked her through that issue before introducing her to more skills. Miss Jenn was always calm, gentle and patient and my daughter developed a trust for her and is now able to self-rescue. She can swim-float-swim fully dressed with shoes, pants, regualr diaper and jacket. ISR is truly amazing! We had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back for our maintenance lessons.

We can not say enough about Jen to express our gratitude towards her! I lovingly call her the Zen Master to everyone I share stories with regarding our son, Nicos, ISR lessons. She is sooooo calm, confident and nurturing and she ALWAYS speaks encouraging words to Nico throughout the lessons that just warms my heart to watch and listen to. These lessons are NOT ONLY FOR OUR BABIES!!!! These lessons are ALSO FOR THE PARENTS! TRUST ME!!! Trusting another human (usually initially a stranger), to place your baby underwater is a massive step to take as a parent. And from the MOMENT we met her, her confidence, professionalism and overall calm demeanor gave us so much assurance that we chose the absolute perfect person to be on this journey with us.Our experience: We began ISR in May 2019 when Nico was 10 mos old. We completed 5 weeks of the roll & float techniques, (since Nico wasnt walking yet). It was INCREDIBLE to watch him learn, build skill and confidence, and eventually (seem to) enjoy his lessons. Over the 5 weeks the classes not only gave Nico an incredible skill that would save his life, but I also noticed that it gave us a rhythm in his naps/ meals and activity. I consider myself a sleep protector, and keep eye on his sleep cues so that he is given the opportunities to adequately rest. After his lessons, he would ALWAYS, snack, drink and take an amazzzzzzingly long nap. Furthermore, it improved his bath times and overall independence. These lessons are critical to establishing baseline survival techniques at a critical time when babies still have the innate ability to breath hold and float (from being in the womb). And for this reason I GREATLY urge all parents to consider these lessons between 6-9 months! Waiting longer makes it tougher on the babies; I assume because of growing awareness and cognitive development, as well as a different relationship with gravity once they begin to walk. Introducing non-walking babies into these lessons is one of the BEST parenting decisions you can make as a Florida resident bringing your babies up around water. Trust me! Dont wait. Make the investment. Even if you do not have a pool. Give your baby the opportunity to build the life-saving skills from early on. It could be the most important decision you can make in your childs life.
