As a single parent with a career, the best decision which was the hardest decision is where to send my son for preschool and after care. The TLC was by far the best choice from day 1 to his last day which was yesterday. Miss Tony & Miss Gayle treated me and John Hunter as if we were family.Their knowledge and professionalism was paramount in the guidance they assisted with through the 5 plus years that have past and as important was the kind & friendly staff that greeted us every morning & evening. The entire process on a daily basis was conducted in a way that words cannot describe other than to say, I would tell anyone and everyone who is making this hard choice that you wont regret putting the protection and trust of your child in the hands and hearts of the TLC.I as well as my son are regretful that he cannot stay and continue to grow at the TLC but his next chapter and transition to K at Addison Mizner will have a solid foundation that I will always be thankful of because the staff & ownership of the TLC do it with class.Hats off for what you do everyday because its truly appreciated and the best choice I have made for my son so far.Thank you all and my best wishes to those that also trust their child or children to the TLC ownership and staff.

My son has been attending TLC since he was 3 1/2 years old. We have had the most wonderful experience at the school. My son wants to stay at TLC and not go to kindergarten. He loves it so much!! They have such warmth and love towards the children and their well beings. Every time someone asks about pre schools, i always recommend TLC. Thank you for all the amazing adventures and memories that were made, i truly am going to miss my family!

We could not be happier with The Learning Center. My husband and I highly recommend this wonderful school. My son attended VPK this year, 2019/2020. The teachers were very kind and patient. We love our little guy but he is probably not the easiest student. He has lots of energy. The teachers at The Learning Center were so good at turning that into a positive. We will forever be grateful to everyone there. Thank you Learning Center!

I have nothing but positive words for this school! My daughter started when she was one. Now she is three. Her teachers have been nothing but accommodating and understanding about my needs and hers; they are very flexible. Their curriculum and activities are engaging and she always comes back home learning something new! She always wants to come to school! Very clean and organized classrooms. Now, my other daughter is attending as well! I am very grateful to have TLC in their lives. It sure feels like another family! I highly recommend this school. I hope you will love it as much as I do!

Our son Alexander loved going to TLC, he was in VPK class. He learned so much, his writing and reading skills improved significantly. Teachers are very caring. Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Toni and Ms. Helene, thank you!!! Outside area is cute, there is a playground, also kids can have lunch on fresh air. They do fun events on different occasions for all the families to get together to celebrate! Its a great school, I highly recommend it!

One of the best decisions I have made as a parent was choosing the Learning Center for my son Cooper. When he was 17 months we signed him up as part time and within a few days we switched to full time. TLC has such an amazing family feel, where the teachers and owners really love these kids. My son learned so much and was so happy there, we miss TLC everyday. I could not be happier with the time my son spent at TLC. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is making this decision for their child

The Learning Center in Boca is a wonderful school. The staff is very caring and loving with the children. It’s a very secure and clean environment. They are very organized, which gives you as the parent a sense of relief. My son started when he was 12 months old and he just entered Kindergarten. He progressed so well l and I really have to thank everyone at TLC for that. It’s difficult to choose a preschool that you can feel secure enough to leave your child all day. I was always happy with my son spending his days there. He learned so much during his time at TLC. So thank you to all of the staff for your warmth, education and care to my son.

The teachers and staff always engage my child and other children in a positive way and give them the tools to make good choices. TLC takes safety very serious and always manages all of the groups incredibly well. I consider TLC to be a second home because of the love, care and education my child and all the students receive. TLC raises the bar in early education in their consistent commitment to their students growth and character development. We enjoy all the events TLC host where my husband and I can meet other parents. I am so grateful for TLC.

I stumbled across The Learning Center Preschool by accident as a result from Siri’s misdirection. This could not have been a bigger blessing in disguise at the moment. I previously interviewed and visited over 15 feasible daycare centers in Palm Beach County. Upon entering the school mid 2016, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and variety of activities that the children were engaging in. The staff was actively involved with the children and the fact there were no televisions present, was truly impressive. After speaking with the directors and acquiring about my questions, I decided this is where my son would have a safe opportunity to not only attend childcare, but learn as well. The distinguishing fact there was structure with qualified teachers and age based activities to enhance learning really caught my eye. I also really appreciate the respect the teachers give the children and are genuinely interested in their best interests. My son started in the smaller building around 1 1/2 years old and progressed to the building next door. The smaller ratios and individual attention to the kids addressing certain needs was appreciated. The fun activities the school hosts such as holiday and outside events truly make it feel like a family involved environment. My son recently started VPK, which has been a stimulating experience for both him and I. I love the interaction I see with the children, teachers, and staff. I feel welcomed there as a parent and I love the encouragement to participate. The three best things about this school besides the friendly, caring, qualified teachers and staff are: the safety and ground rules established, communication and prompt responses, and the stimulating curriculum that is taught as a hands on approach. I am so excited and grateful to witness how my four year old has developed new life skills and has expanded his potential as a result of this attentive environment.

My husband and I want to thank you for the years of love and dedication to our son. Safety and happiness were always the most important part in those preschool years and we never had to worry about that. Our son was always surrounded by dedicated and loving teachers. Not only that, he was also very well-prepared for kindergarten. We want to thank the TLC staff for all these wonderful years and we will miss you all! -The Salazar Family

My child attended that school for a few months. I pulled her out because the director didnt want a part-time funded child. She would of rather her full time so i had to take her out after i just paid her tuition. Guess what, I never got my money back, It was bull crap. They may be great teachers supposedly but look at how they dress. That place is not one bit professional. I HATE this school with the passion. DO NOT EVER HAVE YOUR CHILDREN GO THERE!! PLEASE! IF YOU HAVE A HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS......... my daughter refers to this place as the bad school..... so you tell me

Pros: Clean environment, has a real school feel (like the film Matilda), great yard for kids to play in. They eat their meals outdoors picnic style. The teachers, especially Ms. Christine, are amazing. Children are naturally drawn to her and she has the biggest heart. My child learned to walk there and was one of the youngest in the (1-2 age group). There is shading in the yard, but so many mosquitoes. They also have a daily page they send out that updates parents about meals (what they ate), what they did (activities), and sleep (how much or little they got), along with any concerns they may have about your child. They do hold some fun events for children around halloween as well as scholastic book sales. As parents we supported them by buying books but didnt feel much appreciation.Cons: You must provide meals (which I guess is fine). There were daily incident/accident reports. A biting epidemic. I was constantly called and stressed out at work because my child bit someone or was bitten. 3 strikes youre out for the day. So I was on edge, when would I have to pick up my child? When I expressed my concerns about the new school to a distressed mother, who asked me about it, the director lashed out at me, saying if I was so unhappy I should just leave... I told that new mother objectively how I felt. It wasnt me just bashing, I told her the great things about the school as well. Nonetheless, I do have a right to express myself. I would have left after being spoken to that way but I didnt want to traumatize my child by starting another daycare. So I stayed.I was also charged late fees, when all along I couldve done credit card payments. One time I tried to feed my child a snack and the director told me it was not okay to eat before the designated meal time. I was appalled and deeply upset, are you that mean or controlling that you would deny me feeding my child when they are hungry? The teachers were not like this - only she was. Finally, I accidentally underestimated my childs last day of school. The director said I had to pay $45 for a drop-in fee (as apposed to my regular rate). I couldnt understand why she couldnt help me out for the last day. As, I had been paying for the entire year. Was the change of one day that drastic? I didnt re-enroll my child, not that I planned to, but this final interaction is what solidified I was only $$ to the director.

My son attended for 2 years after having a bad experience at another preschool. The first day he went, he did not want to come home. The environment there is so warm and nurturing. They really care about the development of the whole child. It has been a really wonderful place for him and I only wish they had a kindergarten!

Always spend some time visiting a school before getting to attached. Most these reviews are likely worthless, if you look at the dates you will quickly notice that they show up in bunches. 3 reviews on May 8th, 2008, 4 more reviews on Apr 8th, 2008.... no more for a good year, then 5 more in October 2010.This could very likely be a great school, but all the fake good reviews make me pay more attention to the 2 bad ones...

So sad reading the bad reviews. Coming from a bad school the learning center has been nothing but great. My son is super happy and has learned alot and continues to learn so much and that is all that matters. Plus all the kids I see there all look happy and I never once have seen a child cry and my son has been here for 2 years.

The Learning Center was the greatest thing that ever happened to my shy son, Jameson! Until he was 20 months old, Jameson was at home with only mommy, but when his little brother was born we decided to start him in school to begin socializing and learning with children his age.We thought he was going to have a hard tim adjusting, but it took only ONE day for him to feel loved and comfortable in his new environment. Before we knew it, he was running away from us to go play with his new friends and teachers as soon as he arrived at school.I cant thank Miss Rosalind, Miss Michelle, Miss Christina, Miss Quita, Miss Lindsey, Miss Jenni, MIss Beverly and all the other teachers enough for making Jameson feel so loved and happy! He always had a big smile on his face and began really coming into his own during his time spent at TLC.Due to my husbands work, we had to move out of state only a few months after Jameson begun. Leaving The Learning Center is going to be one of the hardest parts of our move! I highly recommend anyone sending their child to this amazing preschool! We will miss the fun-loving school and dedicated staff immensely! The Canty Family

My son Transferred into the learning center when he was two after previously attending busy bees. Busy bees was a horrible school where my son was learning nothing, and was being neglected and mistreated. As a single parent, and completely alone in the state with my son, with no help, I can honestly say that the Learning Center Preschool saved my life. being a single parent, putting myself through school and working a full time job all at the same time, without help, I would have never been able to achieve my goals and be able to provide for my son like I can now. I was able to drop my son off at 7am, and pick him up at 530pm. Yes, that is a very long day for a child, but my son was receiving so many different areas or care and curriculum, that it was never a bother to him. He has bonds with his teachers that are honestly closer than some bonds are between child and parent. The teachers here genuinely care about all their students and take extraordinary measures to ensure he best and safest learning environment for their students. My son is now 5 years old and graduated from the VPK program, soon to be attending kindergarten in August! My son reads, and writes, and has excelled at math and science well beyond his percentile. The Learning center preschool offers enrichment classes where you can sign your child up for a Spanish class, gymnastics, reading, dance, and many other hinges that they do during huge regular school day. The school offers carpool for he older students, as well as a brand new computer lab which they just replaced with huge IPADS! They have numerous playgrounds for the different age groups for appropriate age learning and cognition as well as safety. Teacher student ratios are fair and every child is special and paid attention to. this school had a very well planned curriculum, they have been voted best school in Boca Raton, the director, Ms Beverly, has been voted best teacher in Boca Raton, and they are an accredited gold ribbon school. I was also on a program from family central which gave me daycare assistance because I was a single parent and attending school. Family central gave me more money, because he was going to a good school that was gold ribbon accredited! So that was a major win! Over the summer, the have camp, which is really just regular school, but they have an event every week where they have a bounce house, or pony rides, or something fun to do. The kids also do water play 1-2 days a week over the summer where they play in the sprinklers, or make water slides out if the playground.I have no idea how the teachers get all the kids down at the same time to take naps. My son sure wont nap at home anymore, but as school, its like clockwork! They eat and have snacks on schedule , and the school always has backups for accidents and forgotten food/ clothes / blankets. School also calls you the minute an accident or injury happens and sends home a form you need to sign before leaving the school that day.overall, my son has become a very well rounded young man. He has immaculate behavior, he is very compassionate and understanding, he is very inquisitive and aware of his environment, and he has a strong will to continue learning. I would really like to thank his teachers Ms Tallie, Ms. Christine, Ms Dori, Ms Helene and Ms Beverly for all your hard work and dedication with my son and all his friends. We do get togetherness all the time outside of school and we are really a family community. Parties at the beach, parks, museums, we do it all. I would highly recommend sending your child(ren) here. There is not one moment that you will regret it or give it a second thought!
