Finally a REAL music school in southwest Florida! The Florida Institute of Music is a top quality music school owned and managed by a real working musician with real local working musicians as instructors. You learn from the same pros that you probably saw playing at some of the best clubs in the area. The school is a large modern facility with excellent equipment and amenities. Clean and safe surroundings too. When I first met Jimi, the owner and one of the best drummers on the coast, I was blown away by his skill and his vision of building a facility that would foster music instruction in an area that is full of opportunity for new musicians. Do yourself a favor... check out this place BEFORE you sign yourself or your child up at any of the other places in the area!

Great school. Instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. my kids are always excited about going and learning music.

Professional and fun! I have an 8yr old piano student registered and she is excited every week for her visit. Great group of instructors, and class act music education. Were so excited to have found Florida Institute of Music and to now be a part of such a fast growing music academy.

Florida Institute of Music has been a very positive experience. My son and I are musical novices, but Jimi and his staff have made things easy and fun. The facility and location is great as well. My boy is always eager for his next lesson.

Great place! Our 9 year old son is doing really well with his guitar lessons! He went from his last instructor to Mike at FIM without skipping a beat! The owner really takes pride in his place and it shows. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The level of professionalism and the quality of the teachers at the Florida Institute of Music is second to none. I got tired of taking lessons in a strangers garage and dealing with his neighbors dog barking the whole time. I switched to this school a few months ago and I love it.

My first lesson experience was awesome! Jimi is very knowledgeable and patient when a student is trying to learn. I learned a lot in the amount of time I spent with him. Im looking forward to having more lessons!! :D

Learning guitar at the Florida Institute of Music is a great hands on experience . the instructors know what theyre doing , and will help get you to the skill level that you want to be at . A definate 5 stars

I was looking for a place where the kids can learn to play instruments and was lucky enough to hear an ad for FIM on a local radio station. I called and spoke to Jimi and immediately knew this would be a good fit for the kids. Jimi knows his stuff as he owned a successful music school in Colorado. Hes hired great instructors who are experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. The kids tell me they make learning fun. Highly recommended!!

The Florida Institute of Music: Upon arriving, I was greeted by the friendliest staff ever! Walked into the facility and it opens up into this wide open space with many rooms were several different musical instruments are displayed. Rooms for percussion, rooms for stringed instruments, rooms for keys and much more. On the walls you see photos of Jimi Bauchat, the founder, the photos show the accomplishments and achievements of Jimi in the music industry.Jimi and the instructors are very well versed and seasoned teachers,their level of teaching ranges from beginners to professional. Giving anyone the ability to go there and learn at any level.Overall I Loved it... some of the best time I ever spent learning more about music!A Must Visit!
