The people at this gym treat you like family. Not just the instructors but the fellow students. Everyone is open to learning and teaching without the attached egos. It is a great place to train for me and family.

I first trained with Dustin almost 10 years ago. His professionalism is only matched by his empathy. His Jiu-Jitsu is clean and mean and I still use techniques he taught me. If you have the opportunity to roll at 33 you should. I guarantee your game will improve.Thank you for running an awesome academy and being a great professor. Osssss

Studio 33 is one of the most welcoming gyms I have been to. Every time I visit San Diego, my goal is to visit Dustin and get some rounds in. Great people, great instructors, great vibe!

Ive known Professor Dustin for over 4yrs now and they way he carries himself on and off the mats is nothing short of exemplary. He is always there for his students and anyone in our community. The Passion he has for our martial arts lifestyle and thirst to share his knowledge to better all around him is what makes him a true leader and a standout in our community. I would recommend everyone to go visit Dustin and learn from him in life and bjj.

Great family atmosphere, training for all levels of bjj skill. Monthly membership cost extremely reasonable. Instructors and students interact with respect, no egos tolerated. School/training is great for physical and mental growth/development. Hours of operation are reasonable and fit for working members. Plenty of parking, easy access from nearby roads. Not easily visible from street, but next to Hans and Harry bakery as nearest point of interest.

My first BJJ class, I was relatively terrified for. But when I entered, the Professor Dustin(yes, THE Professor Dustin) and the other instructors/workers at the place were very welcoming! I learned quite a lot the first day, they got me ready to survive this sport. The students in Studio 33 are people who are very eager to learn and truly help their peers. If you have trouble, the instructors wont be the only ones helping. Its been a blast so far! They are not to be feared like some teachers from actual school. This place is legit with legit instructors, check it out!!
