Typical Staples experience. Getting employees to stop chatting with each other and help you is like pulling teeth. But, after convincing them that their website indicates that they do indeed have what I was looking for they reluctantly checked their inventory and sure enough, had half a dozen! Huzzah!If I wasnt on a time crunch, Id just buy from Amazon. Cant believe Staples is still in business.

Rude, horrible customer service in Boone, North Carolina! I don’t know why these employees don’t go work somewhere else if they hate their jobs so much! Shop at “Go Postal” in New Market Center. They are a local business with great service and kind, helpful employees!

I have never had a problem until today. I am from out of town and specifically needed to go to staples because in my town they have nothing like that any closer than Boone. I looked up the store hours to be sure. Google says they close at 9 on Mondays. I showed up at around 740 thinking nothing of it and about 5 til 8, without warning they just cut off all the lights other than in the front. I don’t care so much that they were closing but turning off the lights just seemed rude to me. I did pay attention as I was walking out and the hours on the door said they close at 8. They need to update their google listing. If I’d have made the special trip and they were closed after 8 I’d have been pretty mad.

Rude boss. I was ignored and not treated in a kind manner. One of the guys was nice though. They seem flustered and he was more focused on getting out on time than even helping customers. Not going there again.

I have shopped at the Staples location in Boone NC for 20+ years. Have never had a bad or unpleasant experience. High quality school and office supplies. gGreat store.

Rude staff!! Had mask around my neck and was distracted looking for something on my phone. I was all alone. The way the person approached me and HOW he said what he said I would never do to one of my customers. NEVER!! Get friendly staff asap! Not shopping there!

Staff are friendly and helpful, but Ive been in here several times looking for various items and they never seem to have even the most basic of electronics (charging cords, corded computer mouse, etc) in stock.

They set the line you pay in to pigeon hole customers so they have to pass each other. The idea is to stay apart.. not force together. The college genius at the front checking customers out was also very rude and cocky, and needs to be taken down a notch. Very surprising to see all of this.

I dont normally write reviews but I was genuinely impressed by Staples in Boone. I spoke with Brittanie I believe who processed my order for a very specific custom greeting card. She was very helpful and showed me all of my options. The order was quality checked by Joel and the cards look better than expected. Thanks and God bless!!

Not the widest selection of items... The audio section has just gone downhill so if youre looking for headphones, go elsewhere. Otherwise, everything is organized well and the selection for lots of peripherals is great. Most of their computer stock is HP, which I wouldnt recommend, but its not horrible. Definitely a nice place to go for office and PC essentials.

Psa: the soda stream CO2 cartridges are no longer behind the counter. If an employee behind the register directs you to the back of the store (straight back) as to their new location, what they really mean to say and explain is that you pick up the new canisters in aisle 8 (which is basically in the front/middle of the store), and then proceed to checkout. I appreciate being made into a moron then being sent on a wild goose chase.

Wish they would let you return something if it didnt work. I guess you take your chances when you spend money with them

Great office supply and school supply store perfect for all the surrounding middle, elementary, and highschools, along with Appalachian State students and faculty. Love the office supplies and even snacks you can get here. They have furniture, electronics, and repair services.

My roommates cat went missing and when we went to print out flyers, Maggie in the print center was beyond helpful. She was so sweet and genuinely concerned about our situation, and our flyers came out looking absolutely perfect. Fast, fabulous customer service.

I just recently visited this location and the staff was so helpful to me. I had to get my Honors Thesis printed and the girl express printed it for me in less than 15 minutes! Seriously so helpful and mindful of your time and when you need things done.

I have found this stores staff, and particularly the Copy Center and Computer manager, very friendly and helpful. For a store located in a college town, the manager has chosen her staff well. My wife and I enjoy shopping at this location.

Asked to use a ruler in the self serve print department and the employee got an attitude when I asked for assistance.

Wow this is the worst Staples I have ever been to. Its poorly managed, the employees are lazy standoffish, and unprofessional. The concept of customer service is lost on these people. Lets face it Staples sells inferior products at inflated prices and refuses to stand by said product. I guess other Staples are better? How else would they be able to stay in business. Do yourself a favor and order supplies online or go anywhere else. Sad

Brad, in the copy center is a very polite and most helpful young man. They need more like him! Was in last week and although they were extremely busy, he took the time to help me with a difficult project!

Decent stock for a college town. I’ve been able to find most everything I need there.

Extremely high prices. Seems to be kept in business by teachers at Appalachian State when they run low on supplies. Also the only store for electronics accessories other than Wal-Mart, which is hit or miss at best.

Great experience! Manager(TJ) was super helpful with a return. Went out of his way to make me feel special.

Christina at the Boone location went above and beyond for us. She assisted us at the copy and print center. Very personable with extraordinary customer service.

Does anyone there EVER answer a phone. I have been on hold for 48 minutes! Really! Can I say POOR customer service!! I have been trying to find out the status of a laptop battery that I ordered and paid for 10 days ago. I would think that they would either contact me via email or phone to let me know! VERY FRUSTRATING!! and by the way.......I am still on HOLD!!!!!

Every single employee from as well as the Manager, who made known he knew everything about everything, were RUDE, lacked knowledge, gave short flippant answers, lied and acted like it was interrupting their time and was a bother to assist in sales of a printer.Ive shopped here since the opening and ALWAYS received awesome service. This store has gone Down Hill and will continue to like this. No wonder they had to downsize due to business decreasing ... Look within Staples and hire those who care about their job ... Not kids who moved in and had to get a job for their spending money for ASU!! Boone needs a store with product, quality and Customer service! Btw ... Big mistake thinking Im just some dumb customer!!

Since Staples left my town I come here for school supplies. It is SOOOOO boring but the products are well worth the money and 45 minute drive.

How can Staples not carry desktop computers. Drive 45 minutes to buy one only to find out they don’t stock such an item, even though their website says they do. What a huge waste of time!
