Please dont send your kids to this daycare. My child came home with a looped cord injury and it was discovered that director did this injury after she became angry over a potty training issues. An investigation was done but nothing was done and this lady is still the director. They dont supervise children properly and recently a child was able to get away and was found close to the road by another parent. Dont trust your kid with these people.

I have never heard of a childcare center that doesn’t understand child development. As a former teacher, I can attest that 5-6 year olds should NEVER be interrogated and threatened to have the police called on them to elicit a confession for being a child and getting into things because the child wasn’t properly supervised.A huge concern for me as a grandmother is denial of hydration & snack time. In no way is that ok. Even prisoners are never denied water! This is extremely inappropriate and inhumane. I was saddened to know that one of my staff members was distracted from her job responsibilities by an owner who had no problem sending multiple texts with pictures yet refused to speak to the child’s guardian when the children were picked up. I know it was distressing to the both the children and the guardian. It was distressing to me, as a concerned citizen, to see all the nonsense sent via text message and the impact it had on this family. I have lived in Bossier City my entire life, and I am appalled that there is a childcare facility that functions in this manner.

The owner of the daycare is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever known. She will not deal directly with you but has one of the revolving staff members do her dirty work. There is no Christianity in this daycare despite the claims. There are no activities in the back for kindergarten-5th grade. The children are made to sit on the floor in the gym against the wall. Then when they go to the bathroom and get into something out of boredom the owner threatens them by telling all the 5-6 year olds that she is going to call the police and have them charged with vandalism all over WASHABLE paint. Afterwards, she denied my granddaughter her snack and refused to allow her to have water. The owner is cruel and hateful and is in this type business strictly for the money while she is traumatizing young children with threats and the withholding of food and water. The place needs to be shut down by the state and the owner needs to be in jail. Please don’t send your children to this horrific place. I would have taken mine out long ago if I had known what I know now. It is a nightmare for the parents and the children. After posting my review, the owner had the nerve to call me and threaten me with her lawyer for telling the truth about her daycare facility. I will not take back anything and everything I had stated is true.

I love Cypress Run and all of the staff is very welcoming! They keep me updated on any and all events or activities that they have going on at the center. Mrs. Pollitt works very hard to ensure that we feel comfortable and keeps us updated through class dojo and Facebook. My husband and I have had a bad experience at another local center and were very Leary to begin a new journey. The staff has exceeded all expectations, I would recommend to anyone :)

I sent my 6 week old daughter to daycare and being our first little one we were so nervous, but from the tour of the daycare down to day 1 drop off they have done nothing but help our family feel comfortable and at home! Even now, our daughter has torticollis and plagio and they work so hard with us to help us with her treatment plan! I love that they have app to help keep parents up to date on daily activities and stuff upcoming! They just simply make daycare an easy choice. We love the nursery teachers and our daughter is always grinning and SO SO happy to go to her teachers. I would highly recommend Cypress Run to anyone looking! They truly and genuinely care about your littles!

This is the blunt truth, the dean only cares about money and pulls the Christian card very quickly if something happens to your child. Take my advice.DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE.

In my experience since August, the daycare is well-organized. I know what is going on with my child and Ms. Eddy is an amazing 2-year old teacher!

Ive had three kids at Cypress Run over the last two years, and I cant wait to enroll the kids again this upcoming year! No CDC comes without some bumps and bruises, particularly as it relates to individual teachers. But systematically, the CDC has always been interested in the well being of our kids and taken our concerns seriously.

At first after reading the reviews I almost passed on this school. my daughter enrolled and it was a wonderful experience!! the staff was always professional and loving with the children. I moved with the military but I hope to find a school of this caliber. My daughters teacher was Jessica and we defiantly miss her. awesome school

Heres the rest of my review....1. Whatever that worker thought my wife said doesnt matter. It was not directed to the worker, it was a discussion between my wife and I2. I do not curse at my children over a silly blanket. You misheard and misunderstood3. Im offended/amused that the owner had to play the Christian organization card. That expectation was never set, its no-where in the handbook. Aside from the religious words that are hanging in the lobby, one may never have an idea that they are a Christian organization. Lastly, Christi using that line is lamest thing a Christian could say. It projects the idea that you and your organization are above and holier than those that come through the doors of your business. Im a born-again believer and Music Evangelist that has provided Christian music at hundreds of venues across the Shreveport/Bossier area for the past 12 years. Am I perfect? NOPE! Did I curse at my son over his blanket? NOPE! Does your staff do a below average job at setting expectations and treating parents respectfully? Based on your Google reviews, YES.So, now, due to there being no other availability around town and the fact we were kicked out unexpectedly, my wife has been forced to quit her job and stay home with our children. Not only have we wasted $980 but now weve lost income from my wifes job.Maybe the Christian thing to do Christi wouldve been to say Hey John, its seems you and your wife are frustrated about some things and I want to know how I can help. I understand youre frustrated about this and that, and maybe we did a poor job of setting some expectations about our program.Christi, had you done that, you may have found out my wife and I are struggling with getting into new careers and are making a commute that requires us to wake up every day at 3am in order to get our children ready and to leave in time to be at your facility by 630am. Only then to work til 6pm, hope I can get out in time to pick up our kids by 545pm, then get my wife, then drive home to be home at 8pm. Just enough time to eat late, rush to bed and do it all over the next day.Im in complete shock that a daycare would act like this. Its sad that our last daycare was a state funded daycare and provided way better customer service than this Christian organization did. Take some time and read their Google reviews. Its obvious that they do not care about anything other than $$. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Way to go Cypress Run for being the Christians that Jesus would want you to be!

Cypress Run is without a doubt, the worst facility Ive ever interacted with. All because of the staff. Building is nice and rooms are clean, however the staff an owner make this place tough to do business with. I know my personal situation is probably of no concern to them, but due to a last minute job change, the fact my wife and I commute 2 hours every day one-way, I needed to find a good place for my kids that would be close to work.Cypress Run was the only daycare close to work that had openings for both my 4 year old and 7 month old. Due to the Google Reviews for Cypress Run, I listed my children on a waiting list at another daycare that was close but ultimately had to resort to sending my children to Cypress Run for the time being.Registration was easy and the emailed me the applications. It was confirmed twice to me over the phone that they opened at 630am and closed at 6pm. This was important to me because I get off at 6pm and could leave a bit early to get my kids. They never got us into the finger-print system either. Get ready to be sure you have a Venmo account cause thats the only way they process card payments.Day 1 - While dropping off my children the staff was less than attentive to my wife and I. We had no idea where to go or where to put our childrens supplies. They acted as if we knew exactly what to do and where to put things. I had to frustratingly ask so where do I put this and this? Again, it was confirmed that they close at 6pm. We were no provided with the handbook/policies either. At the end of the day as Im on my way to pick up my children, I get a call stating Im late because they close at 545pm.Day 5 - We get a call that our 7 month old is running a fever. I checked her when I arrived and it seemed off. They could not state if they had taken her temp right after a nap or not. Typically is higher right after a child wakes up. I went to the nearby pharmacy and purchased a nice in-ear thermometer and her temp did not reflect even a low grade fever.Day 2 - 14 - Every morning seemed to be a new challenge of where my 4 year old would go because most days the teacher wasnt even there yet. So sometimes hed go to another room or hed have to sit in the office and wait. Additionally, the sign in sheet for my 4 year old seemed to be in a new place every day causing me to have to search for it in order to sign him in.Day 14 - During drop off, my wife was informed that our 4 year old had been sleeping on the floor because we didnt bring a nap mat. That expectation was never set for us and frankly all of our previous daycare facilities provided mats. My wife was frustrated but did not take it out on the worker. Instead as we walked out, she shared her frustrations with me. When I picked up the kids later on, my son wanted to bring his blanket home and I told him leave your blanket here, otherwise you might forget it at home. A teacher took him to the back and he still came out with his blanket. I restated to him, i told you to leave it here so you dont forget it.Moments later after I left, the owner Christi Ganey calls me. As I pick up the phone I hear her restating to someone else that I had said leave the f**kin blanket here. I clearly corrected her that was incorrect and she began to state that it seems you and your wife have not been happy here. We are a Christian organization and will not tolerate that sort of language here. Your wife was frustrated this morning and dropped a few f-bombs and we are just not going to tolerate it. Your children cannot come backI just hung up on her because I was not going to argue with this ignorance.Day 15 - When getting our childrens things I finally got a copy of the handbook/policies. No where in it does it state that language or frustrations shared with your spouse are reason for dismissal

My sister and I went to this torturous daycare from 1-5th grade it was a horrific experience. As children you may not believe us but trust me you don’t want to take your children here. While your at work you want your child to have a fun time, their is no playing in the classroom on school days, during summer hours or just an ordinary day they feed your child slop, they don’t care about your child’s health they give your child soggy food(we have experienced this). The staff here at Cypress Run Child Development Center is absolutely horrible, they don’t care about what you do or have to say they just want to get paid. Your child may go home saying they have done homework or studied for their test, double check because the staff is not very familiar with the new curriculums we have at school today. To let you know why we are putting this out there, because every parent wants their children to be successful in life and have plenty of good memories as they grow older, but here is not the place for that they provide horrible service and are not social enough with certain children as as they should be. In my opinion daycare workers should help and care for children, but at this daycare this is not the case. We have decided to give this Development Center a one star rating for these reasons. Sorry if your children had to go through this pain.

Its a horrible place to take your children, my dog could watch my nephew better than this place. Office staff is always talking bad about parents kids and teachers they dont like. I walked in on day to pick my nephew up and they was just talking about my sister and brother-in-law in a horrible way and when they noticed me they played it off like another couple and tried to get me to say horrible things. Tlmy nephew had 4 different teachers in 4mths and he was left in room alone because the teacher had so many kids its ashamed its a Christian daycare and they is nothing Christian about this place get your kids out now
