Our kids have been attending Torit since they were 1 and 3... now they are 5 and 7 and still love every single thing about going to school! They are truely excited and enthusiastic about SCHOOL! You cant put a price on that. Torit has given them an incredible foundation for a lifetime of learning. The school is very diverse and the teachers and staff are wonderful. In addition to traditional subjects, the kids learn THREE languages along with dance, music, coding, robotics, swimming, soccer, tennis, and more that I cant think of off hand! Incredible school.

Chose this school only if your child’s wellbeing is not important to you. And you plan not to address any concerns about your child because once you do, you and your child will become victims of psychological projection.I see the five stars review from three years ago and I completely agree, It used to be a good school, my children had been attending for over three years and I loved the atmosphere and most teachers were well prepared for their job. Many of the ones who weren’t did not last which made me feel comfortable! This year, a single star is being generous. So don’t be deceived by the school’s previous reputation because the good teachers no longer work at this location, they were promoted to the Torit elementary at 300 Cambridge. Most of the teachers here this year are both unqualified and rood to children.I had been noticing the changes in the school’s environment and was monitoring my children closely and sure enough my children’s behavior changed to negative as well as their academic/cognitive performance regressed exponentially. My children also had accidents in playground which were never reported to me, and when I ask the teachers they say they don’t know...I spoke to Ms. Judy who is the new director this year and before I finished my sentence she spoke over me projecting on my children... when I reached out to Ms. Kristen who is the founder, I discovered she has no idea what happens at this location anymore yet sides with the unprofessional staff working here (at 45 Province St).After Several poor communication experiences I realized my children continued to be treated unfairly, and their safety was at risk...I did what many parents have done and feel relieved! If I were to rate this school now): on a scale 1-10:Safety:0Teachers qualification:1Communication:

I toured the Torit Language Center, which is a preschool and elementary school in downtown Boston. I’ve heard good things about Torit Language and when I found that they had recently expanded beyond preschool and opened an elementary school, I decided to tour the school.I love the fact that the Torit is right off the Downtown Crossing stop. Many Boston private schools do not have the convenience of a T stop a few blocks away like this school. The students frequently learn in their own backyard, which happens to be near Boston Common, just blocks from Downtown Crossing (how cool is that?!).Knowing little about Montessori, I found Torit’s academic approach impressive. Torit students are introduced to three other languages (aside from English) starting in preschool. But, what really won me over were the projects that the kids work on...one of the classroom projects involved teaching math through architecture and photography; the kids took pictures of buildings and tried to find symmetry in those buildings.Equipment in the classrooms was plentiful and the kids seemed happy and busy. Class sizes are decidedly small and I like that. I am really excited they’re now offering elementary school. Children will love attending school here.

We have children in both the elementary and pre-primary (pre-K) program and have had a wonderful experience. The teachers provide very focused 1:1 attention and really understand how to engage and work with my kids. Both kids have an excitement for learning that is fostered by Torit - the curriculum and teachers create a challenging and interesting learning environment. We also love the multi-cultural perspective and they have a wonderful arts program too. We are really happy to have discovered Torit.
