We have had a good experience here. Good curriculum for preschoolers. Nice staff. Good facilities. Teachers we dealt with are caring and seem to know how to treat kids. Streamlined process in terms of payment and communications. Very few surprises overall.

My daughter has thrived here for the past couple of years. This has been a great introduction to school. She is extremely prepared for Kindergarten and has a great foundation for routine, learning, and creativity. The staff has always been kind, engaging and helpful. We definitely recommend Evergreen Academy!

Dont get caught my the Trespassing Tracy. She will take the time to yell at you about calling the police through an open window. You will have to restart the level at the beginning and you will never get to Princess Zelda.

I called this facility because they have no pricing listed on their site. I asked for their availability for my child within her age range and for pricing information to see if they fall into my family budget. The person answering the phone was unhelpful and insisted I HAD to tour their facility before they would tell me their pricing. If your facility is out of a family budget why would you have strangers walking through your facility disrupting children from learning just for them to tell you that they are not interested. Furthermore, why would I take time off work to tour a facility Im not interested in.Transparency is often a good thing. You will no longer be considered in my childcare search.

It is the worst school ever. I wish I could give it negative star. My son had a head injury in there play ground and there was nobody who helped him there after the fall, neither they called us. 3 teachers should have been there on duty but none of them were there. He came home with a broken tooth , jaw injury and a concussion. He is not the same happy kid anymore. He is so scared and emotional now due to this trauma and is sensitive to loud sounds and bright lights. He has lost his confidence. His balance also got affected , he still can eat properly due to jaw injury. I wish I had not sent him there. I cannot trust them with the lives of small children, because they are not doing there job to take care of kids. Also there is no accountability for teachers, who failed to keep my child safe. Principal is also more concerned about her teachers and not children. I would not recommend this school to anybody.

I’ve had two grandchildren attend Evergreen academy, each at a different location. The Bothell location is by far the worst due to the administrative staff, more specifically the principal. I have witnessed her having highly inappropriate conversations with children. In some cases private conversations were held out in the open, in front of other staff, parents and children. She is planting rotten seeds into a growing garden! I question whether she has the credentials to have such a job? I personally would NEVER enroll my children here. I would not subject my children to this type of environment!

Ive been associated with this school many years. While it has never been an Overlake or Eastside prep, it did provide a small class with more individualized attention. However, the small class size ends up being problematic the higher the grade because the kids dont have enough socialization. Kids end up transferring out at awkward grades then have trouble assimilating into new schools. They also struggle (from my experience) especially on standardized testing. Very few kids make it into highly capable/advanced classes. The teachers were great though!Unfortunately the new principal(s) and executive directors that are currently employed are the number one reason I would not ever go back to this school. Nobel has wide spread systemic issues that plague small schools especially on the west coast. No one is paying attention or cares. Many teachers and parents have written letters outlining numerous issues at the school and those letters go unacknowledged. This school in particular has been banned from the lake Washington school district for parents fist fighting at a school sponsored event. In June they called the police on a preschool teacher and the police were on campus! As if that isnt bad enough they have had at least 5 teachers quit. The 5th grade had 3 teachers in 2013/2014 school year. the preschool is now so desperate for teachers they are allowing non-certified Montessori teachers to teach. (look at the accreditation before you enroll your kid) each teacher is to complete a legitimate program not an online certificate.I also witnessed many families that had their kids removed because parents voiced concerns about these and other issues. Literally removed to where their kids had no childcare or school, and working parents suddenly had to scramble to figure out what to do with he kids. Its completely unacceptable for a school to do that to any child. Even if the child was a behavior issue (which they did not as the kids were all very well behaved) its best to transition the student to a new program as to not traumatize them. These kids missed huge chunks of school including standardized testing. As a consumer I will not give this business my money. If it can happen to others around me it can happen to me too. BEWARE. and by all means dont ever complain. I cannot fathom a situation where this is ever warranted.Be very careful if you decide to place your child here. They will promise you the moon and stars and then will leave your child on the street.

This was our first experience with montessori school. We were a bit unsure about how about 3 yr old would feel about the change. She would have real structure, have to wear a uniform and also be open to learning two new languages over the course of her first year. We let her take a second tour with us and spent about 30 minutes sitting in a lesson with her current teacher Ms. Pragati. She was a bit shy as expected, but after we left she was so excited to start that following Monday. Our daughter has been there now for 8 months and we couldnt be happier with the program. Our daughter has made huge strides in her personal development and I would highly recommend that if you are reading this review then go ask for a tour. We have renewed for next year and are so excited to be apart of the evergreen academy.
