I had been debating whether to do in person classes or online for my brokers license. I decided to try VanEd as they offered a full refund within 3 days of starting and had really high pass rates. However I decided I would do better with an in person format. The trouble started when I tried to cancel and get my full refund. I looked all over on the website to figure out how to cancel, I ended up messaging, chatting and calling on the final day of my trial period trying to cancel(Documents state a refund will be issues based off the day the refund is requested). I heard nothing back, I tried the next day and got through to someone, unfortunately the overseas call center was no help as I could not understand them nor could they understand me. She issued a partial refund stating I was too late, I figured I would just wait for the refund email and deal with it when the time came. She said 24-48 hours I should get an email, a full week later I received an email and responded informing them what happened, no response, another week goes by and I send another, still nothing. I called 2 times, sent 3 emails, 2 messages and 1 chat, if you are going to advertise a trial period you should actually stick by what you advertise.

Beware! VanEd is no longer a local, Boulder company. They are now 360training.com, based in Austin, TX, and their customer service and turnaround times are not what is promised on the VanEd website. After 2 weeks of frustration and multiple calls/emails, I still have not been given access to the required reading materials and they want to charge me a 40% cancellation fee, even though I have not been able to effectively start the program.Dont make the mistake that I did. Find somewhere else and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

This was a whole new experience for me! I have a strong background in healthcare including a PhD in Psychology. That said, becoming a realtor has been a goal for me for some time. I decided to take action and earn my license when I was encouraged by a friend. Have to say that I was ignorant regarding the level of knowledge required to become a realtor! I was profoundly surprised by everything you are required to know and Im happy to say the VanEd truly prepared me for my new life chapter! When they recommend studying, do take that seriously! My efforts paid off when I passed both National and State exams the first time testing. But I definitely spent many hours reading, reviewing, taking practice exams (most helpful for me), and repeating! Their program is excellent and I highly encourage anyone who wants to obtain their realtor license to sign on to their program. There is much to learn once out in the field, but I now have a solid foundation for future success as a realtor in Colorado! Thank you!

I have been taking on line Real Estate classes at VanEd since 2007. After a couple of years, I started doing all my continuing education (for Real Estate) classes at VanEd. They fit my schedule; are done very well (organized and professional), cost efficient and make the CE credits interesting and easy to complete. I like tracking all my classes through VanEd so I know what I have left each year. This company and classes have been a great fit for my life!

I like VanEd due to the easy access of classes available to me. The system is easy to use and I can take notes and go back to go over content I may not understand. Great that they keep a record of the classes I have taken.

This is by far the best pre-licensing real estate program. Its easy to use and affordable. You have a free range and do not have to be restricted in certain topics. I took the full Real Estate Express Colorado license class. I couldnt pass the final for the second from the last class: Closings. So I couldnt start Record Keeping and Trust Accounts. I had another broker in my office try. He couldnt. I asked my master broker. He also couldnt.I took the VanEd out-of-state broker class for fun and to learn the knowledge. The classes are exceptional. And the testing shows your result. And it shows what the correct answer is, why it is correct, and lists the regulation.I called VanEd. They said Yes, I can use both schools-- VanEd and the other one-- to combine the classes for a complete license.So I have a license as a broker only because of VanEd.

The willingness of the staff to help and answer all of your questions is unmatched. These people are truly incredible. The online Colorado Study course was my saving grace for passing the exam. 20/10 highly recommend!

I enjoy the ease of access to these classes for a reasonable price. I also like the capability to access my CEs easily. I was able to get caught up on the mandatory updates class for 2020, last minute, because of VanED. I can do classes at my own pace and from the comfort of my home.

Van Ed was 100% the reason I passed my exam. I used their online program for my reciprocal test in Colorado. The information in the online course was so helpful in not only helping me pass the exam but actually understanding Colorado laws. Although I was taking the course online, VanEd was there ANYTIME I had a question. If I called their office there was always someone to talk to to help me. The day before my test I spoke with an instructor on the phone for an hour who patiently went over any questions I had on the material. The staff at Vaned is knowledgable and made this process so easy. If you are thinking of using any other online school to pass your test, dont. This is the 1 and only course you will need to pass your test!

Ive been a Realtor for 15 years and have used VanEd for all my CE credits for the last 5 or more of them. Ill never go to an in person class again! Easy, fair pricing (look for sales too!), can take the classes whenever I want (3 am anyone?), and they keep track of all my CE credits. Booyah!

I have taken VanEds Colorado Commercial Real Estate on-line courses for 5 years now and have found them to be very educational and filled with current information. Give them a try...the cost is very competitive and reasonable.

I am able to work at my own pace when I can carve out time. The coursework is rigorous and I feel I’m getting great background and education for my money. It also happens to cost less than I can get from my board at this time. Since the classroom experience is not available due to Covid, this is great.

I have used VanEd for over a decade (really dont remember the start date) and I give them the highest praise you can offer. It is not uncommon that my course work is interrupted by phone calls or someone walking in the office. It is easy to walk away from the course and return later to pick up where you left off. They record you course history so you dont have to be concerned about the state receiving your credit hours. The courses are educational and easy to follow.

Buyer Beware! Do NOT use this companys materials to prepare for your exam if you expect to pass.I signed up for the VanEd RE courses earlier this year. I paid for the full package including text books, testing materials, pre-test, etc. The Colorado State test is horribly worded and created NOT to ensure you know the law but to trip you up with semantics and double negatives. So after failing the state test and realizing that Colorado wants you to memorize the way a question is worded versus the actual information, I studied the VanEd pre-tests to the letter. After all, VanEd was supposed to have pre-test questions worded in a way that is nearly identical to the state exam. VanEds proofreaders (if they exist) should be taken out and actually horse whipped. There are NUMEROUS punctuation and spelling errors throughout their lesson plans, text books and information packets. Run-on sentences, lack of punctuation (which can change the very meaning of a sentence if missing or not placed correctly). I couldnt believe I paid that much money for learning materials that VanEd couldnt be bothered to proofread. I dont know how ANYONE passes the state test when using the VanEd materials. I really feel like asking for my money back. Buyer Beware! Do NOT use this companys materials to prepare for your exam if you expect to pass.

It is very convenient, and gives a true tracking record for compliance of required education! They have a large array of courses, and you will get as much as you want from them. VanEd is a wonderful source for Colorado Real Estate Continuing Education and licensing. The course content is well written, instructor help is just a click away, customer service is AWESOME, and the prices are reasonable! They are my go to for all online Continuing Education!

The content of the CE class is fine. But the method of delivery is lacking. The classes are not classes; it is page after page of reading. There is so little visual interest to the pages and very little interaction with the programs that I found it incredibly difficult to complete the class as I could only stand to sit there and read like that on the computer for short while at a time before I was so bored I wanted to climb out of my skin. The classes are just as expensive as they are from other providers, but it has been my experience that other providers deliver the information in ways that are entertaining and interactive enough that it does not become torturous to get through the content. I would not recommend or purchase CE credits through VanEd again.

Ive used the CE courses from Van Ed for many years and love the flexibility of taking the courses under my time frame. The content is excellent and easy to use. I will continue to use for most of my CE classes.

Would not recommend to anyone. The overall structure of the class is very very poor. Waste of money better off spending somewhere else.Repost from response on 7/1/20:I would rather receive money back for such a poor structure program and poor service. I already gave you guys a second chance and it was a complete waste of my time. I was given bogus responses from your employees and no feedback on the actual course or things pertaining to the course. Instead I was given advice on how to time manage and nothing about how they were going to improve the structure of the courses. The employee even agreed with me that the structure of the program was off putting to a lot of customers and they were trying to improve but I never saw any sort of effort. An example to that would be a response to my review 6-7 months later! I would highly recommend another program to someone and almost go out of my way based off how bad of an experience I had.

I used VanEd for my initial licensing as well as SAE. The content is well organized and easy to read. There is a lot of reading and it can be tedious but I would not hold that against VanEd. Their customer service is also excellent. Everything went as smooth as it should. I passed the exam on the 1st attempt.

I take ALL of my continuing education credits through them. I find the online courses to be great. They are well written, up to date, easy to follow with good software. I will continue to use them for all of my ed.

I am currently enrolled online and just took my final exam for the first course. While I do love the flexibility of a self-paced course with unlimited access to the course materials, I must say that I’ve noticed several inconsistencies that are concerning and have me feeling less confident that I will complete these courses as a competent and knowledgeable real estate agent.I wasn’t aware of that fact that you WILL have to use additional resources to expound on the subjects discussed in the units—the information is incomplete and worded in a way that isn’t always clear. My other complaint is that there may be discrepancies in the exam scoring system. I missed a question on my final exam that was marked correct on the unit exam.Due to the fact that I don’t want to start over with another company, I will do my best to learn what I can from the course and fill in the gaps with my own research.

I have taken eleven update courses from various sources so far in my real estate career, and this latest was the most useful one yet. I always enjoyed Oliver Frasconas as well but sometimes we ended up going off on tangents that taught or made us think differently, but were frankly just fun to consider, and not very useful day to day. I would not recommend this course. The information from the book, web class (which is printed material you read online - not a class experience as one is lead to believe), quizzes and exams is consistently incomplete or contradictory. I have submitted questions online to instructors - who have provided me (via email at a later date) with incorrect answers. I have paid for the class already in full and I am very disappointed with the experience thus far. If I had known the quality and content of this course, I would not have signed up. I have no idea who created this program and gave it the go-ahead - but it wasnt a very thorough job. It appears different entities got their wires crossed - it is an unbelievably incomplete product - instead of a comprehensive course and one would expect at the price. A great deal of time is wasted cross referencing material due to incomplete information - which is making the process slower - and my overall absorption of the material more difficult - and no doubt - less accurate. This course is very difficult for someone putting in so much time and who is detail oriented. I would love to have heard of another recommendation before getting involved here.

Thank you for maintaining on-line classes. They are such a boone to me as I can work on them in spare moments and come back to finish at a later date when I have a few moments. They are easy to follow and informative and if I have a problem, it is easy to contact someone for help. I enjoy these classes and appreciate them.

Quality instruction.

Dont waste your money! Its just information being thrown at you with poor examples, if any. The instructional videos are nothing more than a person misreading and mispronouncing the very same content that you can read on your own -- its just copy and pasted into a video to make it appear like they made an attempt so they dont have to actually use any skill or apply creative learning techniques. I shouldve listened to others and signed up with Kaplans online course, which is more thorough and conducive to learning.

The courses I selected were most informative and proved to be extremely relative in content on issues agents need to be aware of - on a daily basis - to insure maximum client/customer service and enhanced credibility.

I am impressed with the content in the course, including video, references, and other media sources leading up to the quizzes. I felt the time dedicated to in depth areas of farm & ranch or oil & gas leases was unnecessary, but overall it prepares the broker for multiple career choices.

I signed up for a class but needed to cancel my registration. Even though I cancelled within 8 days of registering, did not open the package of books, or start a class, VanEd charged me 25% of my registration costs as an administration fee. When asked why 25% as it seems rather excessive, they sent me their policy as if that makes it more reasonable. I cant speak for the actual classes but I dont think I can recommend a company that seems to care more about the bottom line than the students--especially when there seems to be many other real estate training options that are much less expensive.
