The Boulder School of Fine Art offers a classical drawing and painting program led by Raz Seri. Its an amazing way to learn how to draw the figure and portraiture in a supportive and friendly environment.

Boulder school of fine art is a wonderful place that I would highly recommend to artists interested in learning and improving on figure. Raz (the teacher) gives great instruction and critique that caters to personal improvement. The environment is also amazing, the other students are kind, funny, and supportive. No one is judge mental or competitive, and people will also give great help and critique if asked. There is also a large north facing window in the studio that provides lots of natural daylight which is great. I definitely give a 5/5 rating!

Ive taken classes at the Boulder School of Fine Art for almost 2 years and Ive enjoyed every minute. The classes give a solid foundation that allows artists to develop their own style. The supportive atmosphere of the teacher and fellow students really help you to succeed.

I have been a student here for over a year. It is the best art school I have ever been too. Having a formally trained instructor from The Florence Academy of Art in Florence Italy is impressive. The entire staff and students I study with are so supportive. I would suggest this school to anyone who wants to learn the figure.

Ive been going to different art classes all my life (in different countries) and this is one of the best I got a chance of taking classes. Highly recommend!

Ive been a student at boulder school of fine arts for over year, and I have learned so much more than being at a 4 year degree at college. Raz is a awesome teacher. My drawing skills has improve extremely. I would totally to recommend for art students for coming here.

If you can get past the attitude and meanness - may be a good school. Hostility does not make a good learning environment. Thank you for your response to my honest post but that would be spin and I stand by my comments.

I’ve been studying at BSOFA for a little over a year now, I’ve learned more about art in this year than I did in all of my years in college, for a fraction of the cost. Before BSOFA, the idea of painting beautiful oils was a distant fantasy...now it’s becoming a reality. We are taught techniques that just aren’t really taught anymore. As an artist you have a rare opportunity to study true master techniques here...I can’t recommend this school enough. More importantly, you can’t beat the sense of community and support you’ll get here. If you truly want to learn to paint, don’t waste anymore time and enroll today! Plus there’s FREE LUNCH...(I hope you like hummus)!
