Chris is an excellent teacher. I take comfort in knowing (and seeing) that his true motivation for the class is to help each actor grow individually, and uses the time for each class among the dozen or more students very efficiently.Even though Im just beginning as an actor he treats me with the same respect as some of the more seasoned students, and you can see noticeable progress from all students from one class to the next. I wish I could be learning from Chris full time! Truthfully one of the best teachers Ive ever had.

Ive been a part of this studio for 3 and a half years and Chris is the best acting coach Ive had the pleasure to work with. He has really upped my game. Before coming to his class, I hadnt acted or done shows since high school. Since working with him, Ive gotten an agent, became a company member of a local theatre, and continue to do shows around town. He has helped me with my auditions and has coached me through several shows. His class is always welcoming and very constructive. The work isnt easy, but he pushes you to be the best you can be.

Ive been studying with Chris for more than 10 years. He’s an incredibly knowledgeable and committed acting coach. His style is engaging. entertaining and encouraging, but he doesnt pull punches—hes always honest with feedback. Chris also stands out because of his focus on the Meisner Technique, which is ignored by many in Colorado but remains the standard in major markets like LA and NY. Studying with Chris is hands-down the best way to build a lasting foundation and learn true craft as a actor.

I have been attending Chris’ class for over a year and I have to say I have learned more from him in the last year than all my years of studying theater in college. He is extremely professional and his authentic and straight forward approach is refreshing. Ive been coming to Chris classes for over a year. I share my residence in New York City and Boulder, working in NYC. Not only are Chris classes NYC-worthy, but whenever I return to New York to work with the theater companies Im in, they comment on how much Ive grown as an actor. I have truly progressed and deepened as an actor thanks to him. Ive found a REAL GEM here thats hard to find in even big cities.

If youre looking for a class to stroke your ego and tell you what you want to hear then this is not the class for you. This class will help you grow as an actor, give you helpful criticsim, has a teacher who caters the lessons to each individual instead of a general one size fits all lesson, and will push you to possiblilties that you never thought you could reach. This class is hard but very beneficial if you put in the effort. When you audit, you are a student for that class, encouraged to participate, not just sitting in the back watching. Which is awesome. Ive taken many acting classes, have a degree in theatre as well, and this class has been one of my favorites. Not only is Chris professional but his honesty and directness is refreshing.

Chriss class is an extremely insightful class that allows the true artist to express them selves and learn many approaches to the art and craft of acting. Not for the conceited or those with easily bruised egos.it is for those brave enough to learn.
