Our son has attended BCDs preschool program for two years and had a wonderful experience. Our daughter started in the 2.5 year old program there and will be attending in the fall. Each teacher we have encountered has been caring, focused, well-trained and ready to work with each child on their individual strengths. The literacy-based program is a great fit for us - our children are already starting to read, but also have plenty of time for free play, art, music and languages. Their facility is top-notch, including the playground. Highly recommended.

We have three children at BCD with another starting next year. The quality of the teachers truly sets the school apart. Along with small class sizes and personal attention, you cant go wrong!!!

We moved our child from Waldorf in the second grade because we felt she was falling behind in the basics compared to her peers who were not in Waldorf. We didnt realize how behind she really was until we were faced with her attending BCD and working in a truly, real world, academic environment. It has taken her almost two years to catch up and countless hours of tutoring and genuine support of the school. In this regard, the teachers and administration have gone out of their way to create a safe, supportive environment and one on one attention that has allowed our daughter to gain both the skills and confidence to not only get caught up but to thrive. BCD has given our our child the foundation to make sure she has the skills and tools necessary to compete and find a place in the new global achievement environment. We are so THANKFUL.

I have a middle school and an elementary student at BCD. We have been immensely pleased with the individualized attention they have been able to receive. Both are thriving academically as well as socially.

Our children started BCD at the age of three and stayed through middle school. The most important thing I think that BCD taught our kids was to love learning. Right from the beginning, it was fun and engaging, and that has continued through the years. We recently transitioned one child into high school, and I have been very pleased to see how seemingly easy her transition has been. As I listen to other parents talk about their children experiencing a bit of shell shock with new work loads, expectations of time management, and taking over managing themselves for the most part, I am feeling a whole new appreciation for how well BCD has prepared my children for next steps. They started learning time management by working with planners in elementary school. This continued to be reinforced throughout middle school, and it has played a significant role in this recent transition. I am thrilled that my children are so ready for the next chapter.

Our family has been attending Boulder Country Day for sixteen years. Our daughter, Logan started in the three year old Pre-K class, and attended through the eighth grade. She is now a Senior at Fairview High School, and preparing to head off to college in the Fall of 2016. She was prepared academically to thrive in high school. Her favorite memories are French/nine years, Latin/five years and Spanish for three years. Her Advanced Mathematics classes guided her to her future profession, Engineering and Applied Math.Our son, Griffin is in the eighth grade, and will be finishing his eleventh year here at BCD. He will always remember Scence Fair presentations/starting in Kindergarten, performing on stage, and athletics with the best coaches around. His highlight is his Eighth Grade Capstone project, a one year project, he is busy daily raising a Guide Dog for the Blind puppy. What a wonderful experience, and a privilege to be responsible for the training of Mr. Ardal, his Black Labrador Retreiver.
