As someone new to the real estate industry I thourally enjoyed learning from this course. I liked the organization of the material and watching the percentage complete increasing with each completed topic. The material was covered so well that the licensing exam almost seemed too easy. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in becoming a sales agent!

Update: I passed the exam. Big thanks to Institute of Real Estate Education!I just finished this course. I havent taken the state test yet but based on practice tests, I definitely feel ready. I feel like the support and encouragement to get this class finished were great. The class was easy to follow and it was clear what needed to be done and in what order. Ive done some online classes where its been really confusing what you actually need to do. Not so with this class. If you want a smooth online class experience this is a good one! The amount of extra materials they have is great too. For instance they provide both of the textbooks you need as pdf files. I printed these off and had them bound which saved me a lot of money on books. They also provide an extra review course and a few other extras. There are actually so many extras that I havent gotten through them all yet but I will. Overall I was happy that I took this class for the required real estate agent course.

I had very little real estate experience prior to taking this course. The information was presented clearly and professionally. I just passed the test on my first attempt. I work part-time and have four kids, so I took the course at a very casual speed. It took me 5 months to complete the course and 2 weeks to review with the PDF versions of the textbooks before my test. I emailed with questions twice (once prior to signing up and once during the course) and was very impressed with how quickly they responded.

I added the test prep review and that webinar for it was so helpful. Explained some stuff o wasn’t 100% on. Thanks again!I started this program and wasn’t sure what to expect. This course was very thorough and informative. Anytime I had a question or needed help they were right there and quick to respond. They also had checkins every now and again, as well as live online review sessions that are helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this course, especially if you are doing online. Just passed the Real Estate Sales Agent exams and heres my experience. I loved the training program, even though online study during Covid19 was difficult for me. The instructor was awesome and promptly answered all the questions I was struggling with. I was surprised by the sheer volume and variety of material that real estate agents are required to know. I had no idea. Like drinking from a fire hydrant. So, I studied the program material, hours each day for 2 months. I repeated chapter quizzes and final exams until I could pass them 85% or higher. I bought the 3 books that Institute of RE Education offered (National, Utah and Exam Prep). Cost less than $100; money well spent. I used the books for review, after completing the online training. The books solidified the concepts. Even the cram cards helped a lot. After two months of diligent study, I passed the General and State exams on first attempt. 90 questions (150 minutes) on the General exam and 60 questions (90 minutes) on the State exam. The state exam was harder for me. I needed another 30 mintues and didnt have time to review my answers. On the state exam I wasted a lot of time searching for information on the REPC and Closing Disclosure documents. Its a Find Waldo exercise, on steroids. The documents are provided piecemeal, not a contiguous document that you can see in one image. So, it takes time to open each image, scan the contents, open another image, find the pertinent information and finally choose an answer. They also changed the subject information on the documents from one question to the next. A word of warning...know these two forms forward, backward and upside down.

When I decided to become a real estate agent, I talked with many people and with several schools before choosing IREE as a good fit for a 69 year old trying to learn a new field, go back to school, and hopefully pass a comprehensive 4 hour test on my way to a Real Estate License. Institute of Real Estate WAS the BEST choice for me. The format and presentation of material fit perfectly. Their bi-weekly zoom meetings to prep for tests were informative, and they were extremely available for questions or phone calls, and it didnt matter who picked up the line. Being ancient, I had several computer problems, and IREE folks never lost their patience with me. I passed course work on 11/10/2020, took exams on 11/16/2020 and passed both tests; filled for my license on 11/17/2020. I did have anxiety for six days of final prep on my own, but a call into IREE and some helpful prep materials sent my way helped immensely. I wasnt five questions into the exam, and I knew I got this.... Thanks IREE, I highly recommend you. I will look forward to Continuing Ed with you. And I am employed!

These guys understand adult learning principles and it is obvious that they genuinely care about your success with the course. I purchased the books as well as the course and I am finding that very helpful. There is additional information not covered online in the books that help me better understand concepts. The study material is exceptional. I passed both the State and the General tests my first time because of the study material. There is plenty of it. The online course needs some improvement in regards to clarity of some of the material and the section test questions could be less vague and not so tricky. Test questions should be meant to evaluate comprehension and not to be tricky. Overall, I would recommend this school because of the material; books and the number of prep-tests and study aides.

Who am I? Busy mom of 2 young kids, Moved to UT March 1, 2020 from AZ, bought a house and moved in by April 2, 2020. Also balancing multiple house projects once we moved in.....Time spent learning and completion of the course: January 30-June16;5-10 hours a day of videos and yes you must complete every single video in order to complete this RE salesman course. (((THIS RE SALESMAN COURSE WILL TAKE UP ALL OF YOUR FREE TIME AND INTO THE NIGHT EVEN IF YOU ARE SINGLE)))).... CRAMMED in UT Law plus all the practice tests into May/June of 2020.Took the exam: 3x in June and still failed the generalsNOW.....Realistic study time: 4-6 weeks of constant reviewing AFTER taking the course. This course is not easy to review with after you complete the course work. If you want to watch the videos in order to review them in order, forget about it. The end of each video it kicks you back to the main page. I dont like that when Im trying to review the whole Finances section which is 17 videos long... Take notes and read them often. Make cards as you go along. Print out the chapter notes.Im not at all impressed with the amount of testing and quizes and it didnt even help me pass because it didnt give me a structured study plan to really help me succeed. I liked the quizes but I think the quizes AND PRACTICE were excessive. Also, this course puts all the practice tests for each section at the bottom of your main page so you have to either remember to take the tests after each section or you have to review at the end which is what I did and it was so much harder this way. I did the generals first and then there was a generals practice test. Then it moves on to UT Law and then has the UT Law practice tests and a good 10% of the rest of the course work is at the end with is constant practice tests from the beginning of the course. It was so hard to try to remember everything from the beginning (for me was January-April). Im having to turn to another source to simplify some of the concepts because text book concepts obviously didnt help me pass. I like to keep things simple and this course for become a salesperson was not easy to sit through so many redundant videos about real estate. It seemed like I was grasping the knowledge, and I did for the UT Law portion of the test but the generals I have failed 3 times. I got really depressed after trying to review for the 3rd time. Hopefully, I can hlep someone else out there. I am not a fast learner and I need a study plan and not just a bunch of videos in front of me because it feels like I have to get them all done at once. Even if you spend 1 hour a day watching the videos and taking the participation quizes, its not going to help you complete this coursework in one month nor pass the exam. You have to find a way to simplify what is taught in this course which isnt easy if youre not doing it with anyone else. I didnt really have anyone to study with except trying to explain it to my 3 and 5 year olds in their language. I also did flash cards and would bounce my studies off my husband but for some reason it wasnt enough to pass. Im not giving up but now I need help from another source. This RE education was not enough for me. To each their own.

I was asked to write a review of my experience after completing their real estate sale course, unfortunately I did not have a great experience for two main reasons.1. 75% of the time the PowerPoint slides were out of sync with the lecture. I would end up having to wait anywhere from 5 to 30 mins for the slide visual to move one after the lecture had already ended. There was no ability to move forward successfully after the lecture, I had to sit and wait for the slide to catch up. After experiencing this problem for weeks and trying to use different computers and internet connections nothing had improved. I contacted them for assistance and received no help. I have probably spent 250 hours completing a 120 hour course.2. Once I had finally completed the course, I scheduled my exam and went to print out my completion certification. However my certification was unavailable. I called the main office and was told I still needed to pay for my course. I explained that it had been paid during the first three months I was enrolled. I had set an automatic reminder on my phone and called in to my the three payments. They had no record of it. So I went and looked at my bank statements from when I paid and found all of the payments that they have accepted in full for the course.Overall the content was good but I spent so much wasted time with the delays in their online course and now I have to spend more time trying to get a certificate from a course that I paid for months ago.I think most real estate schools and course will be similar as far as content but the delays (and lack of resolution) and mishandling of payment records here is not worth your trouble.

When I needed help someone was there to answer the phone and then follow up by email. You have the option of printing the text book from the pdf format available on line in the student portals. The most economical way to do this is by purchasing a 1000 print copy card from UPS $30 and print the manual. I did use it as a reference while doing the tests at the end of each chapter. I completed the IREE Utah Real Estate course trouble-free, at my convenience, and very quickly. I just completed (Passes) the license test and found that IREE did a great job of teach the information and not just the test. I say this because IREE teaches the basics which makes it easy to know/reason out the proper answers. If I had a complaint it would be that IREEs classwork is too up-to-date (new REPC) and the licensing test still used the old (2009 version), but once again if you have been taught properly you can reason out the right answers.
