I have had my two children at Rockledge for a little over 3 years (2014 - present). We have had some great experiences and our kids love to go to school every day. Each time I visit Rockledge I can see improvement. I believe this is because of the new principal (Mr. Prince) and his staff’s willingness to adapt to his new leadership style. I have no doubt that we will see improvement in the test scores this year.Also, each time I meet with a teacher I leave feeling that my kids are getting a great education. They are very understanding/accommodating to each individual student’s situation. I have personally witnessed teachers making time for students who are having difficulty. I have seen them bring in extra helps so no child is left behind while challenging those student who are not experiencing the same type of difficulty. I have seen them sharing the concerns and providing solutions for bilingual families. Diversity is a strong element to Rockledge and the staff continue to make it a strength.The community should continue to rally around Rockledge and I would love to see more parent involvement. My husband and I both work full time but we try out best to carve out a little time here and there to do our part.I recommend Rockledge!!!

Attention Parents and Guardian!!!!!!!My Children attend this year 2016-Jan 2017Im texting this email because Rockledge Elementary is very unprofessional, Im a parent that if something isnt right when it comes to my children education I will say something or just up in withdrawal them ,but I feel that the school system is messed up however make sure you talk to you your children,Mr white in 4th grade is calling lil girls baby,I talk to the principle he thinks its ok for which is not its rude and unprofessional, My daughter made honor roll and the teacher had told her that that she made it she just had to change the grade which that was a LIE gave my daughter a certificate for math after the ceremony( bulling )my daughter and making her feel bad, My son teacher writes his name and my son can write his own name she made a mistake by scratching of someone else name and putting my son name on it which clearly wasnt my son work,Im picking up my children from school and teacher dancing in front of the principle very unprofessionalAll Im asking is speak out and watch the school system because its messed up,they will fail your kids ,bulling themTeachers,Grades,Principles, Needs more paying attention .Only person that was respectful was Mrs Snyder that works the front,its a lot more but this just sums it up a little.
