Tasker is in transition and appears to be trying to make positive changes. However, the new administrator, Ms. Hill is rather immature and seems to have a superiority complex. She was absolutely no help when my daughters schedule was turned upside down. She seemed more concerned with letting me and my husband know she was the one in control than actually helping my daughter who was an honors student. At our scheduled meeting she wasnt up to speed on my daughters situation or even took the time beforehand to know the name of my daughter. I was truly disappointed. I pray things will get better.

I went here for 2013-2016 and I loved every moment of it there and I loved ms Johnson but now I’m hearing it has been sucking due to the new principal that’s sucks

I am a parent and love this school now that Ms. Johnson is there. If the comments are from kids that have gone to Benjamin in the last couple of years then they most definitely do not like it. Ms. Johnson does not paly around and is very strict which is what the kids need. She gives her number out to all the parents just in case we need to talk and is very strict about teachers knowing what they are doing and responding to parents.

This school is old and raggedy and i really dislike all the teachers hopefully they get a renovation so the new kids dont have to suffer like I did

This school is the worst school I have ever encountered. You can tell that the staff barely care about the kids. The staff is unreasonable. The principle has bad judgement. Doesnt listens to the kids and overall the school is unfair. BONELESS PIZZA

Some of the Teachers in this school is so wack. They wont provide homework when your child is suspended due to self defense might I add. You have to harass them to get make up work and chances are that you still wont get it!. Ive had a teacher tell me that my son didnt turn in any homework. I drove from Rockville all the way to Bowie on my lunch break to talk to my son about not turning in his homework while he was in her class. My son kept saying but Ma I didnt haven any homework Im not lying. I get to the school and the teacher tell me oh Im sorry that was another student! Im so glad my son is out of this school! THANK GOD!!! They need to get it together!!!

I went to BTMS from the 6th grade to the 8th grade. It may not seem like you like the school at first but those really were some of the best years of my life. I met new people, the teachers were (and still are) some of my favorites. While behavior might be a slight problem, I wouldnt have had it any other way. I love Benjamin Tasker will all of my heart and always will. Go Tigers :)))

My sisters spent the whole day with a headache and they wouldnt let me take her out even though my dad allowed me to he even Called the school to say it was fine twice. Dont get me wrong safety is good but she spent all day with a headache dizzy and nauseous!

My daughter goes to this school. It inst that bad. She makes straight As and is very smart. Other people on the page said bad things because they had a bad year. But, that was before Ms. Johnson came! The school is in tip top shape, but the eight graders could be better and the only class where the 7th graders dont listen is in Ms. Adenijis class, since she has a hard to understand accent.

Where do I start ? My education here sucks. And the teachers are not the best at what they do, all they care about is getting paid. They say we are disrespectful and have no home training, and are retarted. How can we learn when ( mr.burbank) constantly says how we wont even make it out of 8th grade and how we will be flipping burgers for the rest of our lives. Seriously the school needs bigger and better change than it does now. And thinking bringing a new princpal into the school made a bigger change. All she did was change a few rules. Going to lockers now is just a complete mess and everything else about it. Also even if the kids act the way they do you should not judge. All a kid needs is ecourgement and inspiriation to do better and make the right choices. No one ever asked how the kids felt about everything they are just to quick to judge. And even when the kids want to do right we cannot for example my grades are bad the teachers told me to stop hanging with the wrong crowd so I did. I got new friends and limited it so there are yall happy !! My grades still suck and I tried to get switched out to an higher better class for my future and all I get is Im not switching you because your an social butterfly seriously stop worrying about my life and get me what I want because At least Im one of the ones trying to do the right thing. First of all i would like to say the school is terrible. The lunch is crap and the lunch ladies look like real witches and they always spit in your food. The worst man of all is the terrible, heartless bum they call a principle. GARY MCCORCKLE !!! This man is the worst he needs to be fired , he is almost like the devil. Once you get rid of that terrible man . The school wont be the worst school in pg county. also he hits kids like he did to quinton and fights kids like he did tay.
