My baby Ivan is 2 going to 3 yrs old. He is in this daycare, we havent been here long but we have no complains so far. It melts my heart when my baby ask me as soon as he gets home if he is going back tomorrow. When his brother asked him why do u always want to go back? He said playground, I eat.😂 If my baby is happy, I am happy.

Gabina and Ms. B are great! This place is so affordable, the kids are always so well behaved, and the classroom ratios are small and personable. My son (age 4) went from not knowing how to hold a pencil to being able to write his first and last name. It is incredible how much he has learned in just 6 months. My daughter (age 2) always gets a ton of attention, and I am so happy with their care.

Love working with the teachers my kids had, they communicate well with me about my kids daily activities and their behavior, giving me a daily report of what they did and they are attentive to the childrens needs. Play rooms are cleaned daily and Ms. B (the owner) is a very kind woman.

I love this center because the staff is friendly and genuinely loves the kids. My daughter started there in March and it was her first day care so we were nervous but she quickly warmed up to staff. The ladies that watch her are great. Shanna and Miss Emily take great care of my daughter and I don’t have to worry when I am at work. I can text them to check in and they will respond in a timely manner. Basria the owner is friendly and cares about the kids. She is flexible and works with our situation and tries to help. She communicates any changes that are happening in the daycare with the teachers. She always has a smile on her face. I will recommend this center to any parent looking for quality care and peace of mind that your child will be in a safe environment. Keep up the great work!

I am so blessed and thankful to have my son at Gabina Learning Center!!! I was recently put in a bind where I needed quality child care immediately. I had been calling around, going on tours etc and was not impressed!! I met with Ms.B (The Owner) and she was simply an angel straight from heaven. She was nothing but pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process and quickly got my son enrolled! Ms.B is kind, personable, warm and very understanding!!!! I love speaking with her and seeing her amazing staff every day!!! Everyone is so nice and passionate about what they do you can just tell that this center is truly filled with happy and positive people!! The center is clean and organized and theres plenty of space for the kids to learn, play, and explore!!! My son is so happy to come and doesnt want to leave when its time to pick him up!! The daily reports are extremely informative and detailed!! I love getting to see everything my son learned and did for the day! Gabina came recommended to us by a close friend when we found ourselves in need of a temporary one month daycare for our son. The staff greeted us with a smile every morning and upon pick up, his things were ready and he was all cleaned up from the daily activities. The facility is clean, big and a great fenced in playground for the kids out back. We will continue to use Gabina for our daycare when we need care again. Thank you for treating our son so well and making him feel welcome the very first day.

We chose Gabina Learning Center because it was close to home and the center was new, very clean and well organized! I love that the center is spacious and that the children have their own space in the center based on their age. Many daycare centers have all the kids together in one large room, here they have their own space which is awesome and its tailored to their stage of development. Ms. B, the owner and director, is SOOO sweet. She helped me feel comfortable with the transition, as this was the first time putting my child in daycare. My daughter adjusted pretty easily and now cant wait to go everyday. Her vocabulary significantly increased just after 2 months of attending. What is most important is that Ms. B is a genuinely kind person and I know she cares for my child as if shes her own.I also love that it is a diverse environment. My daughter interacts with children of all different races and cultures and that is very important to us and her social development. Overall, if youre looking for an affordable, clean, loving, safe, and happy childcare center, this is it!

Gabina Child Daycare has been one of the best decisions we made for our daughter. Ms. Dur is a very professional child care provider. From her methods and organization to the cleanliness of the daycare, all of our expectations have been exceeded. More importantly she is passionate about children, and infuses the perfect balance of kindness, compassion, and gentle discipline and guidance into their day. Her character is apparent in the behavior of our daughter – she is always happy to see Ms. Dur in the morning and is always happily playing with the other children when we pick her up at the end of the day. Our daughter started with Gabina Child Daycare when she was nine months old and within the first several months of attending the daycare she progressed significantly. I am a first time single mom and had so much anxiety about placing my baby girl in child care. I visited many facilities in PG County and was sincerely concerned about my lack of options. Gabina Learning Center was the last facility I visited on my quest to find a suitable childcare and I have to say that after a month of taking my 3 month old, I couldnt be more pleased! They greet me at the front door every morning and have her ready immediately when I pick her up. I receive a report of her day daily. The facility is beautiful, clean, peaceful and all the children are happy. This is a new facility in the area and I would encourage anyone to trust their child will be well cared for at Gabina Learning Center.

Gabina Learning Center is awesome. I enrolled my 6month old Tomii this past January. I can tell how much Basria really loves all the children, including my baby. The way Basria smiles and grabs her from me in the morning warms my heart. My daughter who prefers family quickly got comfortable with her room teachers and of course, Basria. I would highly recommend Gabina Learning Center.

My son has been attending for about two months now and I am pleased. Especially with Ms. Erin. My son adores her. The center is clean and staff is kind.

My 2yr old son currently attends Gabinas and am so happy and fullfilled he is there. He is excited to go there, he doesnt look tired when I pick him up. His speech has greatly improved. After a year of attending an in home daycare my 2 year old was falling behind. The first day i brought her in to Gambina Learning Center she started to show interest in all of the activities. Within 3 weeks, she is potty trained, speaking in full sentences, and interested in trying new foods. She is a brand new kid and we could not be happier! Seeing her progress every day is such a treat. We are so thankful for her wonderful teachers.

My daughter is going to Gabina Child Daycare for almost 2 years now and I just love it. She is only 2 and half year old but she knows all of her alphabets, Number, and shape.The owner of this daycare is very polite and she take her job very seriously.

I am a previous employee of gabina. I just want to say a few things about this center. The staff I worked with when I was there for those couple of months were amazing, we had great communication and a awesome assistant director who gave us great support/ambition. When I first got to the center it was only one classroom open and had multiple ages mixed within one and I had to mention to Ms. B this is a safety issue and I am not use to working like this. I had several other problems within the educational part of being here also. We were very short staffed I barely got my break which is illegal and was forced to eat inside of my classroom which is a big no no! Ms. B was at her center early morning and left before 8 and would come back maybe 11 and would leave back out before 12, sometimes I would be in the center by myself with a group of kids in the early morning while she took her kids to the bus stop as she told me. After two months she hired a little more staff and a assistant director. I will say that the assistant director was a relative of mine but besides that she did her job she was always at the center from opening till closing and got supplies/tools/materials that the staff needed. She made sure we had lesson plans together monthly themes and work shown for parents an daily sheets filled. I do want to say some staff stayed because of the acknowledgment and encouragement from her. My children did not get outside time at all we were in a building all day no fresh air for children which was a concern of mines also, but I still push past that and continued to work at the center because I just knew that things would come together. I did not like how Ms. B would not provide more nutritious food for the children. I also did not like how when I would mention or advice her on changing some things for our classes (so it would be the correct way for licensing) that she would mention she was in debt and could not afford certain things. Which what I asked for was not very costly it was things that all daycares needed. My time at Gabina came to an end after 5 months during a staff meeting. The meeting was supposed to resolve some issues at the center. But it took a turn when no staff was being heard by her she was over talking us and felt that we were ambushing her when yet again it was a staff meeting and that’s what meetings are for to fix and resolve things. Within that time I’ve grown to my children and my parents and had a great relationship with them and they can vouch for that. While during the meeting after a incident that I will not discuss some of the staff got up including myself because I felt unsafe, & I told her I will be going home and will be back tomorrow. And by just doing that I was FIRED that same night. Through a text message that wasn’t even sent to my phone it was sent to the assistant directors phone. She fired me because of me being a relative of the assistant director which she fired within the first 5 minutes of the staff meeting. I was so hurt and so upset that she would do such a thing because Ive helped her and stood by her when her center had no teachers but me! Or no materials to teach children. I worked hard and she would always acknowledge what a great teacher I was and how she loved my work and the passion I had for the kids. Now that it is almost a year from that situation. I wish her business well but I will not recommend this center for any parent who is seeking more educational center rather than a babysitting service.

My kids (8 & 9) have gone to Gabinas for over a year. She is reliable and is always helpful. She provides before care every school day and makes sure my kids make it to the bus on time every day. Her house is immaculate and your children will be just as happy here as mine are.

I was skeptical and in fear of enrolling my 1-year old son in daycare, I researched multiple daycares around my area and none was up to my standards. Then, I finally found Gabina Learning Center; I called but didnt get anyone, shortly after Mrs. Basria called back to meet with me the same day. When I got to the school, I didnt know what to expect; but Mrs. Basria opened her arms to my son and I. To my amazement, I felt comfortable because I realized that she is a compassionate, loving person and most of all a devoted mom first. Hence, she understood my fears, concerns and knew exactly how I felt.I was not driving at the time and had to take an Uber home with my son. Mrs. Basria dropped what she was doing and willingly drove my son and I home. I will never forget her kindness and words of encouragement to always follow my dreams and never give up. Since, my son enrollment in her daycare; I have seen the growth and development in him, he started sounding words by interacting with other kids and teachers, he is excited to learn, he sings the ABC song, count from 1-5, he identifies shapes and colors. He is also more sociable with his peers and family members. Thank you, Mrs. Basria and your entire staff at Gabina Learning Center for caring and educating my little heartbeat.

My 5yr old and 2yr old attend Gabina Child Daycare and love it. Every day they come home singing new songs and telling me about all the healthy lunches that they have. My 2 yr old always asks can I go to Ms. Basrias house today, even on the weekends.

I visited more than 8 daycares/centers but every time I returned uncomfortable because my son has difficult habits (Resistance during diaper time, fast boring, cant eat food and just bottle....).However, once I saw Mrs.Dur, I felt more than comfortable, she is amazing, treat the children as their mother and more. My son loves her too much, and he smiles once we arrive to her door. Last things, he says Mam finally in 18 months old, Thank you so much Basria for your hard work.I am waiting your new center to move my son there..

SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE KIDS AT ALL.. I DONT THINK ANY OF HER STAFF HAS ANY CHILDCARE CREDENTIALS.. I REALLY THOUGHT AO HIGHLY OF THIS PLACE.

DO NOT enroll your kids here! I had my 11 week old daughter enrolled for 1 week and I was extremely disappointed in the short time. Day 1 we arrived and the owner was outside raking leaves, she walked to the entrance door and let us in, she apologized because she said she was under staffed - so she had more kids than she could handle, then why wasnt she inside helping her staff? That afternoon after picking up my daughter I got home and changed her diaper and clothes to notice that she still had poop smeared on her lady parts!!!! Day 2 - my daughter had poop smeared across her butt cheek, again she was not cleaned properly. Day 3 - When I got home to change my daughter, the foot of her pajamas was wet. I of course smelled it and it was not spit up but VOMIT, there is a distinct scent. They never changed my daughters clothes, this is disappointing and I dont know how long she was there with wet puke on her clothes. Day 4 - I was going to rock my daughter to sleep and place her in her crib before leaving and when I walked over to her assigned crib it was covered in chocolate cupcake crumbs (from the bday celebration the toddlers had the day before), dirt, hair and a yellowish stain across her sheets. My daughter was not sleeping/napping enough based on the reports to have her sheets be that dirty. She is only 11 weeks so I know she wasnt eating chocolate cupcakes, at least I hope not! When I asked one of the teachers about her crib and sheets, she explained she didnt know why it was dirty and took the mattress to the sink and wiped it off with her hand and placed it back in the crib. She asked me if I had a blanket and then placed it over the stained sheet, I guess that was her solution, DISGUSTING. As this all took place, another infant had woken up from his nap and was starting to cry. A few minutes went by and now the baby was crying hysterically and gasping for air. I asked the teachers if they just let the kids cry it out and the first teacher that was washing blocks (or something) said oh hes just hungry the 2nd teacher that was cleaning a toddlers nose said hes teething but NO ONE got up to soothe him or pick him up while they got his bottle ready. This broke my heart because I can only imagine what they do to my poor daughter! Every night she came home from daycare she would nurse and then knock out from 6pm until the following morning. This was not like her and even after diaper changes, she would not wake up, she was exhausted. The owner does not know how to run a proper daycare and I am sure they are not in compliance. Not to mention, the infant room is dirty. PLEASE DO YOUR BABY/CHILD A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO HERE!

I had to tell someone about how great Gabinas Child daycare is. My daughter has been going to this daycare for a while now and she loves it so much she never want to leave. Ms. Basria is so good with my daughter, she truly cares about my daughters wants and needs. If something has with my little one Ms. Basria tells me. All the kids there love my daughter and when I drop her off they all get so excited.To all the parents looking for a daycare this is the place to be.

I would like to recommend Gabina Child Daycare to everyone who is looking for quality care. The care giver Ms. Basira is highly qualified to take care of children. She feeds them and keeps the children clean and even preps them academically for school. She displays authentic love for each child regardless of gender or race. My granddaughter attended her daycare since she was 2 years old and now is 5yrs old who continues to ask for Ms. Basira. Since we was out of school zone we had to find another daycare provider...I wish we could stay with Ms. Basira. Dedicated and loving Daycare providers are truely hard to find! :-)

Jonah started going to Gabina Child Daycare when he was 4 months old. As a first time mother, I was very nervous about leaving him with anyone. Basria has proven time and again that she was the right choice for me. She loves Jonah and he loves her. Many times I have gone to pick him up and she is holding him and he is hugging her around her neck and smiling. She has good hours and her home is clean with large open areas for the children to play.He is now 11 months old. There are other children close to his age in her care as well. This has helped Jonahs development (already walking, eating on his own) and his social skills.Basria really works with us. If we are running late, she will keep Jonah and is always nice about it. If we need him to be ready for early pickup to go to the doctor, Basria or Sheree will have him fed and ready to go when I get there. If there is something I am unhappy about, I just have to talk to Basria and things get better. She also gives me advice which is most welcome considering she spends so much time with my little one one and is a mother herself. If Jonah is not doing well at daycare (sick) she will call me or my husband and let us know. If we let her know that he isnt feeling very well, she makes sure he gets extra cuddling. If Jonah does something new or interesting she lets us know.Basria and her helper Sheree are just wonderful, loving, and caring. I have no worries about leaving Jonah in their care and that is a big deal for any mother, especially me a newbie.
