My daughter is in 6th grade, and she loves all her teachers, especially her science teacher, Mr. Brown. There has been only one issue with bullying, that was addressed immediately, and to our satisfaction.

This is an amazing school send your kids here if they want good teachers

Its they best school ever and its so big in side and there shirts are so cheap and I love it there I dont want to go to a different school and now Im in 6th and it going to to be so cool you know starts on Monday if your happy text back

We heard many mixed things about Congress but decided to take the tour because you can’t judge a book by its cover. We met Mrs. Burrell and she gave us a tour and explained the Choice programs to us. The Choice programs are impressive. We then toured the Gifted classes and those were equally impressive. We went to a STEAM night and saw the kids in action and enjoying themselves. My 6th grader started Congress knowing only a few kids but quickly made friends. He joined the Robotics club (they won an award in the county tournament) and made the baseball team. The teachers he has are impressive....Mr. L for his coding class, Ms. Rosencrans for literature, Ms. Bernard for world history, Mr. Brown for science and Mr.Cullen for math....all standout amazing teachers. The AP’s work hard and truly care and the principle is fantastic too. The school resource officer is on it and engaged. I highly recommend touring and giving Congress a try.

This was my childs first year at Congress middle. I heard it was a bad school but coming from Boynton Charter, which is another horror story, I thought Congress had to be better. Boy, was I wrong!! My daughter always says how the staff in student services was always rude to her every time she asked to use the phone to call me after school. Every time I call wanting to speak to someone no one was available and if I leave a message no one returned my call. Edline is a joke because they dont put any information about students grades on there. You have teachers teaching core classes that are constantly absent. Many incompetent teachers teaching at Congress, one teacher even had my child study for a play filled with profanity, I mean raw language that you hear pimps and prostitutes use. Those were lines my child had to study for and worse, administration didnt know anything about it. Which tells me the curriculum is not being reviewed by the department head. As an educator myself I joined the SAC committee trying to get involved in my child education.But after hearing numerous incidents from my daughter and her outer dislike for the school, I didnt even let her finish 6th grade there.Congress need to do better I understand the principal is new there, you can change principal all day but real change has to come from the bottom up. Uproot these problems theyve been dealing with for years.Overall, my daughter hated her experience there and my child happiness is the most important thing to me. Based on the other reviews here I know she wasnt exaggerating. THUMBS DOWN CONGRESS!! COME UP!!!

This school horible my tablet was stolen my money was tooken from the vise principal and the student be cruseing at every body this school sucks i hop it close one day i mean it or the vice principal get fired mr tompson

After 2017 8th graders left it aint the same no more so it’s safe now 🤷‍♂️

I am a student. I love CMS, I will be attending another school next year, and I wouldnt want to be at another school. CMS is the best school ever!!!!!!!

The teachers from this school are unprofessional and very scattered in their administrative duties. Which clearly is passed down from the attitude and behavior their principal has shown on several occasions.

My son went there I should sent him to lantana one worst schools in pbc I would explain theres just so much bad kids , bad teachers , even the principal they all got wrong attiude.Kids get whatever they want and get a away with it teachers get away with fighting kids just so wrong.
