Best Practice definitely lived up to their name.If youre interested in anything Medical, I would whole-heartedly recommend these guys.The instructors were super helpful, and they definitely set you up to succeed. everyone here works hard to accommodate all types of learners, and they really make you feel at home. All in all, it was one of the best learning experiences of my life. (plus I somehow got a really cool shirt out of the deal)

I had an extremely positive experience with Best Practice Medicine’s EMT course. They focused on teaching us the hands on skills in a lab environment; sometimes with a 1:1 lab/lecture ratio but usually a 2:1 lab/lecture ratio. This is great because skills mastery is one of the most important aspects of being an EMT.The lectures were very engaging and gave plenty of context to what we were reading in our textbooks and doing in lab at the present time. The instructors were always honest in telling us that the course was difficult, but they gave us the tools we needed to pass the exams and, more importantly, to be ready for fieldwork.All in all, I would hands down recommended this course if you are interested in becoming an emergency medical technician. I have not heard of another program in Montana that is this thorough and offers this much hands on training. It makes all the difference because you have no idea how much training you’ll receive once you’re working with an EMS agency. Best Practice really focused on developing our muscle memories, familiarizing us with the equipment and skills we will be using, and teaching us proper bedside manner. In my opinion, those are the most important parts of an EMS provider’s education. Passing the test doesn’t mean you’ll be able to successfully care for a patient; but ensuring your students can perform the skills within our scope of practice allows them to pass the test and more importantly, to know that they are leaving your care with the ability and confidence to provide for the people in our community.Thank you Best Practice, you are wonderful teachers and an incredible asset to our area. I hope to further my EMS education through your organization in the future!
