Staff is wonderful partly because Im part of it unless they move me when the students are here lots going on

I would not recommend living in these dorms. I’ve been here for almost a year now and it has not been a pleasant experience. From loud, partying neighbors to dirty bathrooms to bad food to broken and/or overpriced amenities, none of these rooms are worth what you pay for them.The rooms themselves are far too small for one person, let alone two, and privacy in either the rooms or the bathrooms is almost nonexistent. The walls are not very sound proof, and numerous times I was kept up past quiet hours due to people talking in the halls. The rooms themselves are outdated and a lot of them have very visible signs of abuse, and the bathrooms are no better.One of the “amenities” that I was most upset with were the washer and dryers that the school offers. The capacity for most of the washers is enough for about five articles of clothing, and it’s $2 per load. The dryers are also $2, but do little to dry your clothes and have even less space in them than the washers. One weeks worth of clothes totaled around $18, washed & dried. Miller dining hall was also a disappointment. The food is often cold or not cooked properly, and again, is over priced for what you get. The elevators were also broken very often, about one day every week or so.There are many, many more things that I did not like about my year in North Hedges, but these were the most concerning to me. Do yourself a favor and choose a different dorm or do what you can to live off campus.
