Lemners Soo Bahk Do is a very welcoming, friendly, and supportive martial arts school that teaches the Korean Art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. Anyone who starts to train will quickly discover that they grow and develop in more ways than one! Highly recommended - give them a visit!

Lemners Soo Bahk Do is fantastic martial arts studio, Family friendly, great instructors, I am very proud to be able to say I am a part of this organization.

Never attended sessions here, no affiliation with this place at all.All of a sudden today (Feb-25-2019) after 5+ years of living near this business, I had one of the nastiest experiences with one of the people who go here. I dont know what else is being taught here besides karate that had one of their men acting extremely angry, aggressive, and rude to me in response to my concern about parking spaces his vehicle was clearly blocking. So uncalled for. His anger would be completely understandable if I was initially that way towards him but I wasnt.Some creepy looking barefoot middle aged man in a karate uniform came out to move his pickup truck. He expressed unnecessary anger about making room for other vehicles as if this school gives him a hard on that he couldnt wait to get back to or something. (whatever...) I thanked him anyway despite his attitude and despite him barely making room. He then started speaking about his 45 year driving experience and saying how i couldve still fit into the spot as he went back in the building.I wasnt in the mood to debate with him so i just smiled and thanked him once again as he went back into the building.He was literally in like 2 parking spots at once. The back end of his truck prevented me from getting in. Youd think he would come out with a totally different disposition considering the way he parked but nope.Angry and arrogant for no apparent reason.Even more creepy ... when this placed finally did closed, I heard a really loud engine from outside but didnt think much of it.. turns out, after viewing home surveillance, it was him. He sped off extremely fast and aggressive blowing thick dark smoke from his truck.(He was still angry?) LOLPlease stop boosting up your students ego so much. We wouldnt want them running around town thinking that they are He-man.

The lessons learned here are priceless. It develops your confidence, discipline, focus, and awareness. I enrolled my 2 boys, and eventually joined myself so I could train with them. Many of the friendships that were made here have become lifelong friends.

Lemners has helped my girls push through some social anxiety and find a confidence in using their body they never had before. I even find myself using some of their respectful behaviors back towards them they have developed.

What a great group of instructors! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and technically outstanding. The families that come here are like-minded, and very supportive of one another. The culture is E X A C T L Y what we have been searching for, for our kids. They teach more than just karate. They are experts at developing leaders of the future.

It is wonderful to have a place here in town where our boys can learn not only self-defense but also develop their self-confidence. The instructors are really great! My husband and I are very pleased knowing that we have people helping us teach respect, perseverance, discipline and humility to our boys. And both our boys are always happy to come and train everyday!

I learned about Lemners Soo Bahk Do From living in the area , wanting to have my son learn to protect him self. Watching and seeing the love and passion of the art with the instructors I knew that I wanted to join my self.The more I attended I started seeing the bond of family members and studio members become as one. A great place to learn and great people to call friends

My son and Husband both currently are members at Lemners Soo Bahk Do. We love the Studio, Instructors and the Families involved there. My son is learning to take constructive criticism not only from adults but also from his peers. Its a great outlet for my Husband after a long days at work. We love the extra clinics that are offered. Its not just the members learning from the Instructors, I learn something new just from watching the classes. Soo Bahk Do isnt just a Martial Art its a life style.

We signed our son up at Lemners Soo Bahk Do about a year ago. He absolutely loves it! The instructors are great at what they do. They go above and beyond to teach the traditions and techniques of Soo Bahk Do. I enjoyed watching my sons class so much that I joined and have been a member for about 8 months. Your never too old! This is truly a family atmosphere. I was welcomed with open arms when my instructor had to close his studio. Now, my son is a member of the studio and loves it. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and know how to work with all levels.

I trained here during junior high and high school. As and adult, we starting looking for something to help improve our sons focus. I knew that Lemners could help and also build his self confidence. Hes been training for 8 years now. I have also rejoined the studio, another son is training, and the next one is wanting to join too when hes ready.

I enrolled my son at Lemners 15 years ago for discipline and confidence. Shortly after, I began training during a free Mothers Day class and have been hooked ever since. I, my husband, and children not only gain the self defense needed in todays world, but also the true, life values of a martial art.

My son has been at Lemner s for almost a year now. What I love the most about Lemners is that the members are taught discipline and respect and that they should apply it in all areas of their lives. My son continues to improve in those areas because of Soo Bahk. It is so much more to him than martial arts.

I began training at Lemners Soo Bahk Do since 2005 after watching my kids train. I had 2 childhood dreams, 1. to be a professional baseball player and 2. after watching the karate kid I wanted to learn martial arts. The thing I love about Soo Bahk Do is you dont have to be in top physical shape. I have a few physical disabilities that has limited but the art is shaped to be flexible depending on your limitations. SBN Steve Lemner and the other Masters are more than instructors. I can tell you without a doubt that my experience at Lemners Soo Bahk Do has been one of the best things that could have happened to me. I have been active there for the past 23 years and have forged friendships with hundreds of people over the years from not only inside the Do Jang but across the world that I am proud to have. All of the senior membership is extremely knowledgable and it shows through their efforts, dedication and enthusiasm that is brought to each class. The environment there is more of a family oriented one where each person cares about the others and makes new members feel welcomed as soon as they enter. Lemners is a top caliber place to enhance self-esteem and grow as a person as the goal is to take the lessons learned inside the studio and apply them to everyday life. As a child, I was very introverted and found it extremely hard to associate with others and be social. Through the time and effort of the years training and interacting with others at Lemners, I feel that I have done a complete 180 of what I was before and much happier because of it. If given the option of doing this all over again, I would already be lined up and ready to go, without a doubt. If your goal is to make your time worthwhile while at the same time bettering yourself or improving your childs character and helping them grow as individuals, there is no place better than Lemners Soo Bahk Do; I am living proof of that testament.

I studied with Steve Lemner 20 years ago and restarted and brought my son along last fall. I tried other styles ans studios when I lives in California. But going back to Lemners was like coming home.
