Teachers are great, course was a piece of cake. Ive been trying to get in contact with the school to receive my Certification from NCCT and no one will get back to me. All I need is my transcript dated and signed and my certificate of completion. No one gets back to me.

I went to Branford hall took the medical coding course. The school was a complete joke - teachers talking about teachers & students. Teachers having melt downs during class. We had 29 students in our class and none of us got a diploma after a graduation ceremony. What a joke! I am paying a student loan and can not get a job for all the hard work I put into this school. They tricked us saying the diplomas were not ready at graduation we would be receiving and empty paper then when the diplomas were done we would receive them. Going to the school was hard enough trying to be taken seriously with the incompetent teachers we had to face daily. I think it’s a shame that we were treated so badly and are unable to get jobs in the field we went there for, but have to pay a student loan working for minimum wage. Branford Hall is the worst place to waste your time - dreams and most of all ruin your credit. You’re actually better off throwing your money out the window than wasting all that time thinking you’re gonna get a career out if it because you’re not. It was an awful experience and I do not recommend this so called school for people who want to better their lives it will only ruin your life for years trying to get back on your feet unable to get a job in the field you paid for.

Steer clear of this place and do NOT make the same mistake I did. The degree is not respected and will not be acknowledged by any legitimate employer. When I enrolled in a REAL college, all I needed was a letter from the Dean of Branford Hall, saying that the classes were college level classes and I received a decent education and I was told he can not sign off on that letter, because they are not legitimate courses. They are not recognized by any other educational institution because they are a joke. They can NOT keep staff. There is a constant revolving door of staff and office personnel. After my joke of a certificate was completed, they had a resume made for me by a career professional who emailed me a resume filled with many typos and inaccuracies. From start to finish, this school is an absolute joke. Spend the money and attend a legitimate college either in person or online.

I’ve only been at Branford Hall for a couple months but the course I’m taking here is phenomenal. I’m learning everything I need to in order to become an MA. The teachers teach you everything you need to know & the fun part is the hands on work you get to do. I feel like Branford Hall was the best decision I could have made in order to start the career I desire. The teachers actually care about their students, they definitely are hard on you, but it’s because they want you to do the best that you can. I feel completely comfortable at this school & I know that for whatever reason whether it’s to help me with school work or just to talk to my teachers I absolutely can. I would highly recommend you to come to Branford Hall & get your career going.

Dont go here.. They promise you the world and say coding is the next career.. They hand you papers and say go to it... and then when only 2 passed they say well its really health claims. Not all of you can be coders... The administration leaders are horrible.. They change constantly. You dont get your books on time. They dont get your uniforms on time. Director is rude and dismissive. This building is dirty and the elevator does not work all the time. The microwaves for lunch are old and barely work. DONT DO IT!! There are a few good teachers that care. Find another school.. I just read they are not even accredited its temporary!!!!

I went to BHCI in Windsor,in 2008-10 as an M.A.I loved all of my classmates, but,the school itself was horrible. My credits couldnt be transferred to any other college. I didnt receive the promised assistance with job placement ,barely received it for my internship. Piss poor all around. Scammed/schemed and stole my money. I owe on student loans for a field Ive never actively worked in. Waste of time, money, energy.

I went to the Branford one to finish my MA course since I didnt finish the first time. I wad taking a test in class when a much larger male student decided to be rude to my friend because he was mad the teacher wouldnt let him go outside to smoke DURING THE TEST. When I told him there was no need to be rude to my friend he threatened to have a female friend of his jump me and to top this all off the head woman in charge didnt believe either of us and said I was the one who started the problem. Every other student besides her and I were too afraid to come forward. Absolute joke of a school and the head woman os absolutely horrible. DO NOT GO HERE. Just go for PCA. Same pay and only an hour class.

Branford Hall has changed my life, me as a person, and my career. When I first called this place i wasnt sure if this was right for me but then again I use to struggle alot making minimum wage and trying to deal with a 2 year college not knowing what I wanted. I decieded that its time to start a career and not another job, and so I did. The teachers are great and have total experience in the field they teach which makes me more safe in my decision. The administration is always there when you need them and very supportive. They give you all the material you need to make it in the real world. If your really looking for a professional, motivated, caring school, then Branford Hall in Branford is the right place to be. They truly helped me understand the difference between a job and a career. I can tell you right now that i know for a fact they know everything you need to know beacuse once I go into the doctors office I see what I learned in school. DONT LET ANYONE TALK YOU INTO THIS SCHOOL! JUST CALL !

Branford Hall. I began my journey in September of 2017. I can honestly say that this was the best decision I have made to further establish my future. I could tell that the entire staff actually cared about the students. I highly recommend that Branford Hall Career Institute should be your choice of education. My time here has been a lesson. Ive learned so much but I also learned to break some bad habits. If you come here not ready to work and youre not serious, you will not succeed. The best part of my tenure here were my teachers! Marccuci, Affie, Lynch, Barnes, Da-ve(the President not my teacher but still cool) Mrs. Deb O, and Young; you all were simply amazing and I sincerely appreciate each and everyone of you. Branford Hall is a great place. I loved every moment here & I just might plan on becoming a instructor in the future. Hmmmmmmm hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

This school is a JOKE I went here 2016-2017. We had teacher quiting or not showing up left and right. To begin they till you when you sign up you will be able to choose what test to take at the end of your course, CMA OR RMA, but when it came time we could only take the CCMA which is lower than both. The classes are rushed and not done with adiquit medical equipment. This school does not care about you at all, unless you suck up and kiss rear ended to establish a friendship with the teachers, director, or head of program they just see you as another passing student. Unless you are straight out of high school don’t waste your time here, the staff is so immature and want to know more about your personal life including boyfriends, family , blah blah blah verse your education and career. Jude is probably the only staff member there who does her job correctly and professionally. You constantly hear the staff speaking in the halls about inappropriate things as if they don’t have students around them. Anytime you reach out for anything (eg. help with exams after you’ve graduated) you get lost in the shuffle and have to ask again and again. Anything I have learned as a MA has come from my Drs office that I work at. Any student who has put 5 starts are A. Very young 18-20 B. Had a “friendship” with the staff on a personal level or C. Got some type of positive reinforcement for leaving that type of review. Do a MA program at another Tech School, it’s not worth it.

This is a difficult review for me to write. I love learning, and I love a good deal. Branford Hall was one of two schools for me to attend for Massage Therapy. The program is cheaper and accelerated, and more convenient to drive to personally. However the school hierarchy doesnt have their procedures and regulations together. There needs to be a change in chain of command. Students are required to wear a uniform, however they arent supplied with the right size shirts for weeks or in some cases months. Books dont get dispersed until weeks into the term, which puts strain on the teachers to improvise. There are a lot of hiccups in day to day organization. With that said, I would like to mention how much I adored my teachers and the curriculum. Being an accelerated day program there was a ton of content I wish I had learned for the amount of money I paid, but its enough and more to pass the Licensure exam. The effort one puts into learning is what they will get out of it. This school is no different.

I personally went to this school back in 2011 and completed ny studies. Gradutated with a 3.98 GPA and was hired before my graduation day. My teachers (at the time) put the effort in to you (as the individual student) put the effort in (I studied hard and definitely earned my grades) but some of the people in my class(at the time) did not belong in that field choice and had criminal backgrounds (which the school made clear to the students) you will have a harder time getting a job (thats not the schools fault)and those same students cheated on their tests.. Sorry, but there is no easy way of making it in a field like healthcare unless you know what youre doing. There is no room for error (probably a good thing those people didnt get jobs in healthcare!) The only bad experience I had with branford hall is the lack of respect or sympathy towards some of the students (not all the teachers were like that) and not all the students were treated like that either.. Only the ones that were there either to hangout and joke around or just be there to kill time.. Certain Teachers knew who was there to learn and who was there just to get a quick ticket into a serious and respected field for money. The teachers know who theyre giving job references to because the teachers represent them once theyre out in the field.. Your performance respresents that school and the teachers. I have gotten nothing but compliments on how I go about my career, and I thank the teachers and the people that have helped me complete the work and get to where I needed to get to and get into the career field Ive always wanted to be in. Dr. Pyria, Helen, Deb.. and a few other teachers ... Without you I wouldnt have been able to learn and understand what was being taught while having fun..I am the professional that I am today because of you, Thank you.

I taught at branford hall for 8 weeks. The Director of the campus listens to THE LOWER of himself than HIM, HIMSELF. Which is DEB if DEB DOESNT LIKE YOU, you WILL NOT GET HOURS. Also, BRANFORD HALL PASSES STUDENTS THAT ARE GETTING UNDER A 50% AVERAGE ON TESTS, AND FINALS. They switch teachers out every single week DEPENDING ON FAVORITISM. I was told NOT TO SPEAK TO MY OWN STUDENTS, AND NOT TO BE FRIENDLY WITH THEM, AND NOT TO HAVE COMPASSION FOR THEM. IF YOU WANT TO GO TO BRANFORD HALL, I WOULD DEFINETLY LOOK INTO SOUTHINGTONS BRANFORD HALL. I ALSO HAD STUDENTS ASKING ME FOR A TEACHER WHEN SUBSTITUTING INSTEAD OF THEIR OWN TEACHER, AND OF COURSE DENIED. STUDENTS ARE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO BRING BOOKS INTO CLASS, THEY HAVE TO READ AT HOME. HOW CAN YOU TEACH A STUDENT IF THE BOOK ISNT IN FRONT OF THE STUDENTS FACES? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE BIAST, RACIST, AND THE FACILITY GOSSIPS MORE THAN THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES.

Personally I think this school sucks. I changed teachers idk how many times. The first semester the teacher would copy out the book and tell us to copy everything down so 6 hours we were writing. They forget to acknowledge the fact that everyone learns differently. We paid for books that we used once. They would come get you out of class in the middle of the class for financial aid problems. Some teachers were rude. But I must say the office lady (i forget what her direct position is) Chelsea was great every single time I needed to speak with her she was polite and available even if she was going on break! Thank you chelsea. She alone earned the 2nd star.
