My mom bought a shirt here and the lady that is the MANAGER didn’t take the security tag off. My mom doesn’t drive so I went back and told the manager nicely that she forgot to take the tag off and she was SUPER rude to me saying how she never makes mistakes and that I MUST BE STEALING. I was very calm and said that I’m only the messenger and just wanted the tag to come off and she grabbed the shirt from my hand and took off the tag and threw the shirt in my face. I told her that I’m sorry if she doesn’t like her job and that everyone makes mistakes and to not take it out on a 19 year old. Ever since then she has given me the death stare. Super rude will never go back

The stores prices on most stuff is priced fairly. The store clerks are fantastic I have never had a clerk ever snap at me or be rude to me. But they dont keep the shelves stocked, so you see something you want your best bet is to get it that day cause the next time you go back it probably wont be there.

Love this spot. The place is always clean and organized. The staff is friendly and greet you when you enter the store. They carry all the name brand items but cheaper. Ive never seen/found expired items. They have clothing and socks/underwear, which are name brand and cheaper which comes in handy if you have young kids. Plenty of parking, handicap as well and handicap accessible into store. They also have an app in the app store where you can sign up and you get weekly coupons and discounts. Central location on Putney road, across from Hannaford.

Friendly staff, clean, orderly store. No public bathroom. More expensive than store in Wilmington.

Its a dollar store like any other nothing spectacular, it is conveniently located next to a hardware store and across the street from a grocery store though.

Clean and staff is very nice

Went to the store to pick up a few things, like I always do. The worker, older women with gray hair in a pony tail was very rude! Not the first time! First of all I had to ring a bell twice to get her to the register. She was ringing in my items and bagging them and one of them didnt ring in half off so I mentioned it, she got all huffy and said well I guess I will ring it in again. After bagging my things she threw my bag at me. I told her maybe she needs anothe career. She just grinned at the people. behind me. If she is working again I will not go in there. There is no need of that! And this is not the first time.

I like family dollar store in brattleboro....I miss the card selection which used to be extensive.

My visits to my local Family Dollar are normally average; nothing significantly outstanding and nothing significantly displeasing. However, this Tuesday evening my partner and I came in to get a bunch of snacks. There were two cashiers at the register, one register was open, the other was closed. At the counter was a couple laughing and chatting with the cashiers. My partner and I stand in line, in front of the second register, to give the customers ahead of us privacy. We stood there for 7 minutes while the customers and cashiers talker, and the other cashier kept walking back and forth between both registers. Then, another customer stood in line behind us, also with a lot of products in his arms. We stood there for an additional 3 minutes before the other customers noticed us and started joking about how they always come in and harass the employees. They were standing just half a foot away from the register at this point, no longer right up against it, and continued talking and joking. We assumed they were waiting for the transaction to finalize. A minute later the couple says, well come on up and gestures for us to go to the counter. They didnt grab any bags or products. That entire 10 minutes we were waiting in line at the register, the two employees were talking to people who werent in the middle of a purchase instead of doing their job. It was a very disappointing experience.

I went into this store last night at 8:55 just to grab some milk, and as soon as i walked through the door, without even saying a word the employee yelled at me telling me to leave cause she was closing. I informed her we have five minutes but she still told me to leave and upon leaving she thanks me to throw it all in my face. I have never been so disrespected i would never treat anyone like that. I will be letting all my family and friends know about this store and employee that works there. I will no longer be shopping at any of these stores just cause of what happened last night. Thank you employee for ruining my experience at this store.
